More cute pictures! Yay!

Burk, even *I* would put my foot down at more than two jet skis. T is pretty charming. Just glad she isn''t one of the annoying kids they can''t wait to get picked up.

Diva, I really don''t think my DH understands how cool I am.
3.gif
I am not offended. I do 90% of the childcare. He thinks we can just visit him on the road. Not sure how that will work out with 2 kids. You are very lucky that your DH is so involved. I should note that DH is a really good dad. I bet James will crawl soon.

DD, I guess I am the whipped one. Lucky DH.

Pave, He is so cute! Look at all his hair.

puffy, she is a little nuts sometimes. Though she did offer to watch the kids while I went to visit him. Hmmm....I told my SIL and she has the same reaction as all of us. So cute B picks out his own shoes!

lili, I know I miss sleeping in! I''ll get it back *hopefully*. They really do love Tessa which is great for me b/c I am sure they are less likely to pull me out of class if they like the kid.

Q, M is such a cutie!!! Love the new pictures! I guess I should worry about something that is 3 years away. Though he did get this funny look and asked "do you think your setting could hold a larger diamond?"
31.gif
So I think there will be something in it for me
12.gif
Sorry you have an awkward relationship with your SIL.
Confrontation is hard.

NF, something will be in it for me! He even offered to give me the money he got for his really old, crappy jet ski. So I guess now I just have to figure out what I want
2.gif
I totally agree a month IS ridiculous though! Love the new pictures! They are great. Good luck on your DH''s interview!!!

Janine, He bought the new one but the trip is so long off I decided to let it go...for now!
27.gif
His mom is strange sometimes. Doesn''t always see the FULL picture if you know what I mean.

Jas12, He makes me feel mean but if he only knew. I think I am pretty easy and laid back about most things. I hardly demand much of his time though he did promise one full day a week to spend with T and me so that''s progress. He loves us so I hope I am not painting him in a bad light. It''s hard to be self-employed b/c his hours are crazy. I was insulted b/c he NEVER talks about trips he wants to take with me in the future. He must felt bad b/c he wants to take us to the beach in a few weeks. Who knows if you will get preggo right away so I wouldn''t keep that from being in your friend''s wedding UNLESS you are looking for an excuse. I doubt you would show by then anyways. Co sounds like he is doing great. I really think babies are really advance with physically stuff OR verbal but usually not both. But luckily it seems to always even out. I am sure he is fine but ask your doc if you are worried.

MrsS, I have no doubt it will be difficult to be alone with 2 kids (who knows maybe I would be preggo again) for a month. MIL did say she would help a ton. I don''t know how single moms do it either. Even though DH isn''t home much I know he could (and has) if I am having a break down or something was wrong. I can''t wait for your move!!!

Snlee, Tessa is fun. My dad calls her "Tons of Fun" as her nickname. I wish I could bring her. I know Linda is disappointed too but I just CANNOT do it alone. It is too long of a trip and she is too crazy. Just ask NF! Haha. I am less angry about the 30 day trip when I think of possible bling. Is that wrong of me?

TGal, yay for freeze dried fruit and A loving it!!!

PO: What an adorable Picture.
30.gif

NeatFreak: The twins are getting so big and so so adorable. Your DH just Has to get that job out here. I have my heart set on being their "adopted" Nana. I know Layla and I would throw them a BIG first birthday party, tee hee.

pave, we are going to return the giraffe since I''ve bought two toys for him off craigslist that is very similar. Can I just say Tyler is such a cute boy~ look at those pretty big brown eyes. Love the outfit in the second pix.

puffy, can''t blame B for trying to get the dressing off...poor boy..

Tacori, I think I''ll be ok with one week, but 30 days that is a lot to ask for. Tell your DH to take Tessa on for a week and you go take a week vacation. I''m sure when you come back he''ll change his mind on the 30 days vacation. I''m a mean wife too, DH won''t dare to ask me this question.

so cute Tessa is the favorite at the child watch, she is adorable! I wish I can meet Tessa in person.

lili, one of the toy I got was the radio flyer but w/o the parent control. I''m looking into buying another one with parent control. little B got short legs, his feet won''t reach the floor when he is on the ride.

my AF is pretty much the same, just lighter.

I think DH is super protective of little B because of his Kawasaki scare. We''re still traumatized by it. I get teary every time I think about it.

Diva, good to hear your MIL don''t need radiation or chemo. My co-worker have stage 1 breast cancer and she had surgery to removed the cancer and will start radiation next week.

Enjoy James''s backward crawling because once he figure out how to move forward then there is no turning back...I think backward crawling is so cute~

Qtiekiki, we are going to return the giraffe since I''ve bought two toys for him off craigslist that is very similar but I''m looking to buy more new and different toys for him. little B is tired of all his old toys, he want some new toys.

M is so cute! love the collage. Did the pedi recommend anything for her chin?

NF, the boys are so cute! Sending you dust for your DH interview.

Jas, how cool that Co is already saying mom and dad. What a smart boy, I don''t think you need to worry about Co not standing on his own but it doesn''t hurt to ask the pedi about it.

TGal, yay on Amelia interested in food! I can see why the mom at the park is concern, Little B''s cousin is only 5 months and is almost as tall as little B.

So for the past several days when we go pick up little B from my MIL house, the moment he gets into my arms he''ll turn around and start waving and said "bye bye" and blow kisses. He is turning more and more like a toddler...my baby is growing up

Here''s M''s 9 months stats:
Height - 29inches (94 %tile)
Weight - 20lbs 11oz (83 %tile)
HC - 17.25inches (50 %tile)

Her height and head circumference growth is consistent. Her weight growth had slow down, which the pedi said he expected as we are not big people (he was referring to us being Asians, him included). We asked pedi about her rash. After asking us about how often we used the prescribed steroid ointment, he told us that we need to use it more consistently (3 times a day, 5 days in a row) to keep the rash from coming back. So we''ll do that starting today. Otherwise everything is good.

NF
Adorable pics of Max and Dexter.
Good luck to you DH for the interview and house hunting.

janine
Sound likes C is progressing well with her milestones too. It took M a while to roll from tummy to back quickly.
I think the rubbing combined with her drooling get rid of most of the aquaphor. I am sure some stick around, but it just didn''t seem to help.

Burk
Was your cycle pretty regular before pregnancy? Just curious and wondering about my own cycle. I was very regular and now it doesn''t seem as regular. Though I am still getting AF about every 4-5 weeks. We haven''t been preventing since a couple months ago. It took us almost a year to conceive last time, I figure we''ll start not preventing earlier than we hope to conceive.

Jas12
I haven''t try Desitin on M''s face. Might try it next.
If I were you, I wouldn''t wait to TTC for the wedding. 1. because you may not be pregnant by the wedding. 1. because every pregnancy is different and you might not get m/s as bad as last time.
Aww Co is so advance with his verbal skills. I don''t think you need to worry about Co not standing yet, but you can always ask your pedi.

Pave
Awww Tyler is so handsome. Love his monkey outfit.

snlee
From what you''ve described, I think D is doing great with sleep. M is like that occasionally.
We don''t use highchair at restaurants b/c we got the FP booster chair. So my only need for the cover would be for the shopping cart, but DH thinks that we can just use our stroller at the store. That''s fine when there''s two of us. But if it''s just me and Meena, then I think the cover would be much easier.

Pedi did prescribe steroid ointment for M. I''ve been using it sparingly once or twice a day for 1-2 days. When the rash looks better, then I stop. Well pedi told us that we have to use it at least 3 times a day for 5 days to keep the rash from returning so often. So that''s what I am going to do the next 5 days.

I shouldn''t had been up, but I was. Anyways today is my day off. I work 9 hours day and get every other Fri off.

MrsS
Thanks.
How are Jake and the girls?
When is the big “move”? You must be excited.

Tgal
Yeah on A eating her freeze dried fruits.
So true about non-stop worrying. I don’t think it’ll ever stop, and now I finally get why my parents were so over-protective. I hope I don’t become over-protective though.

Tacori
You are still nicer than me. I guess you are right about it being 3 yrs away. Who knows if it actually going to happen, right? I hope you do get some bling for it. =D

Bobo
So cute about the blowing kisses and waving bye bye. He is growing up.
It makes sense to return the giraffe if you got something similar. What kind of toys are you planning to get him?
Pedi said to use the steroid ointment 3 times a day for 5 days.

All those boys are sooooo cute! I love little boys... am I biased?

QT--
I''m a perpetual night owl -- tried to go to bed early but always end up hitting the sack after 1.
Hehe, so I went to Target and bought some circo shorts and shits for the summer (including M''s cute short).
Hope the weather cooperate and stay home instead turning to winter.

Wow, M is tall too.
What type of cream did the doctor prescribed for M''s rash?
Hope it does the trick.

NF--
Awwwwweee
5.gif
Max and Dex are soo cute and adorable.
Those pictures came out really nice.
30.gif
30.gif
the semi-nekkid shots -- look at those bellies
5.gif

Lots and lots of job dusts to your hubby.

janine--
hope C's 2nd tooth come in fast.
and you are right, it is no fun BFing when those choppers come in
32.gif

Burk--
J's just being fickle cuz I know she's ok w/ the whole milk taste.
She didn't refuse it w/ the oatmeal and avocado.
She did even drink 3 oz of it at daycare when they didn't have the breastmilk.
I need to break her down.

DD--
Glad to hear that Hunter is doing well.
Any chance we'll get some more pictures of your little thinker w/ his adorable dimples?

Pave--
Awwwwe

30.gif
you are killing me hear w/ your Tyler.
That monkey outfit is too cute and that face and expression is priceless.

Jas12--
Wow, talking already? At this rate, Co may not need to walk since he can ask mommy and daddy to get stuff for him
2.gif

I wouldn''t worry about Co not pulling up or standing. Half of the kids in J''s class didn''t start to walk until pass the 1 yr mark.
I think it''s typical for them to start walking around 13-15 months. And it''s all very sudden too. So Co may just get up one day and start cruising and walking the very next day. Look at Amelia! Hehee, you can maybe threaten him w/ PT and see if that helps
9.gif

Haha, too funny about him using his hockey stick as an extension of his arm.
J used the backscratcher to reach for things that we put in the center of the coffee table.

J is doing better. She did have her rough nights when she was all congested and stuffed up.
Poor thing woke herself up because she couldn''t breathe.

RE holding off TTC. I wouldn''t. Who knows, the second time around may be different for you in that you won''t have any ms.
So is it still looking to be Aug timeframe?

MrsS--
Thanks for the info on not needing whole milk.
That''s what the Dr said too at J''s 1 yr appt today.
Said that as long as she''s getting her 3 servings of dairy in other forms like yogurt cheese and etc, she should be ok.
But we''ll keep at it w/ the whole milk (or try soy).
How''s Jake doing w/ his whole milk? So far so good?
You know, my dr didn''t give J a blood test for her iron level today.
Should I be concern about that?

Snlee--
haha, there is no way in h*ll I get up at 6!
oh, I didn''t know Pave is up in N Cal.
Wouldn''t that be fun if M is now surrounded by all these handsome young men :P

TGal--
Glad the freeze-dried fruits were a success.
Which one was her favorite?
That''s great she''s eating and trying new things too.
And
36.gif
36.gif
for interest mobility -- she probably enjoys the freedom of roaming around and seeing things from a higher POV huh?

Haha, so true. How I wish J was less mobile today at the appt.
She was all over the place while we were waiting for the Dr and then for her shots.
First she walked all around the office, then went through all the cabinets, then started pushing the Dr. chair around the room.
When she got bored w/ that, she started roaming the hallway! The nurse saw her and had to acknowledged her and said that she''ll be w/ her soon.

Tacori--
I think you are too easy w/ your hubby
5.gif

Sometimes we need to be mean to them, so that they know what mean is.
DH kept complaining that I''m so mean and doesn''t give him any attention.
I told him that that''s my goal-- then he''ll appreciate the little attention that I give him when baby gets here
41.gif

Bobo--
Awwwee.....how cute that little B is blowing kisses!
J is not as generous. She''ll never kiss us on command (stubborn little girl).
Sometimes, out of the blue, she''ll grab my face and plant one on me and then laughed and turned away.
Same goes for waving bye and hi''s too.

Oh, here''s the helmet that I saw in a magazine.
Though B won''t need it for playing in the house....may not be a bad idea for when he''s on his bike?

thudguard.jpeg

ooo...forgot J''s stat today;

Height: 31.25" (will have to remeasure since they are always off)
Weight: 18lb 7oz
Head: forgot, but really small as usual

lili haha, glad to hear that J is back to old spunky self! most of B''s pics turn out like that now cause every time he sees the camera coming out, he will say "cheese" then he will smile and laugh until doesn''t see the camera anymore. its pretty funny, but sometimes, i just want a normal smile, so i can at least see his eyes in the pics. haha.

qt i love the pics of M! she''s so cute. poor girl with her chin. B had a similar thing when he was drooling nonstop and i just felt so bad for him. i slathered on eucerin since it''s a thicker cream, and after i slathered that on, i put some aveeno baby diaper rash cream on it to kinda repel the drool. it worked like a charm. if nothing else works, you might want to try that. a dermatologist suggested that to me, and it worked really well with B.

neat your boys are darling!!! how are they sleeping?

janine how is your sweet girl doing? i hope the separation anxiety is better.

burk haha, i can so relate, B tires me out, and i feel like i need a nap before he does MOST of the time. his new thing is running in circles until he is dizzy then he''ll fall on purpose, get right back up, do a little dance, and spin again. boy is nuts!!

jas12 B''s doing well. he''s as happy as can be. isn''t it the cutest when they start talking? only problem with B is that since he started talking, he hasn''t stopped. haha. i wouldn''t be concerned if i were you about Co, he sounds like he''s doing fine. and all kids develop differently.

snlee just wanted to say that i love our cart cover just because i know how dirty those things are and before when B was putting everything in his mouth, i just felt better having one. and it''s perfect for high chairs too. but we also have the fisher price travel one that we use for restaurants. i will try to make it.

tacori i bet you''re excited to have your ILS around more....you and your DH can have time together or you can have time for you. that''s nice that your MIL did offer to watch the kid(s), but still i think she might be a little nuts. haha, just kidding. any way any of us can convince you to bring T with you? but i totally get it, B is NUTS and a handful when we go to target and that''s only a 10 minute car ride, and 45 minute MAX there.

bobo awww, little B is growing up! sounds just like B was/is. B actually doesn''t really say "bye bye" anymore, he''s more of a "later gator" kinda guy. haha. i taught him that awhile back and it finally clicked. people get a kick out of it every time.

B''s arm is much better. the open wound is a smaller area now, and the infection is gone. but he''ll continue taking the antibiotics for another day. i tricked him and told him it''s juice. haha, i am a bad mom. we go back in a week, and the doc expects it to be all better.
have a great weekend everyone!!!

I forgot to mention that the pedi is referring us to an allergist b/c of M''s persistent rash. He said her rash isn''t too bad, but since it''s persistent, he wants to make sure it''s not from food allergy. So we''ll have to wait for the HMO letter, and then make an appointment.

lili
The prescribed ointment is Triamcinolone Acetonide. I was also hesitant to use it on M''s face and around her mouth b/c it says do not use on face, and get it in nose and mouth when I googled it
You know initially I wasn''t even going to get M shorts. I thought she can just be in her onesie during summer. But then I figure I better get some for when we are out, so she won''t look so sloppy.

puffy
Thanks. I''ll try those if the steroid doesn''t help.
Glad B''s arm is getting better.
How funny B does his "cheese" routine when he sees the camera.

QT, wow..M is a tall girl! I don''t know what else to get him, it seems like he got pretty much all the toys at BRU. Maybe I''ll just give him another diaper box to play with. I wouldn''t feel too comfortable putting the ointment on the face too. M might lick the ointment off, I know little B would.

lili, little B is stingy with his kisses too. He won''t kiss us when we ask him to, maybe once in a blue moon. Do you have the name of the helmet? DH want to get that for him.

20.gif
Looks like J is a skinny little girl.

puffy, you are not a bad mom, you just want him to heal up. Hope the wound will heal up completely soon.

hi everyone,

took C for a "7 month appointment"--wasn''t really necessary, but we''re new to the area, so wanted to find a new pediatrician. Her stats are still on track (ie same percentiles--still petite!). I mentioned the ears and this doctor was less easy going, said sometimes they grow out of it, just keep an eye, etc.

Then I mentioned that my mom noticed a click in her leg sometimes. The doc checked and said better to ultrasound it. I don''t know if she is just overly cautious, but really not looking forward to it. Chloe already doesn''t do to well w/dr. visits and always cries once poking, prodding, removing of clothes occurs. It''s like she knows something''s up! So i can''t imagine a 20min ultrasound (or however long) in a dark room. Argh, I hope it''s all ok but wonder if I even should have said anything. But I have noticed the click once in awhile, so I guess better check it out.

Oh and separation anxiety seems better...not as much crying! She''s def teething though..2nd one on the way.

Had to share...

D slept 11.5 hours last night!!!
36.gif
36.gif
36.gif

He woke up a few times crying but DH and I didn''t get up and he fell back to sleep. Yay!

snlee YAY for D and you and your DH!! it must have been nice to get some extra sleep!!! i hope this continues for all of you!!

qt i hope M''s rash clears up soon so you don''t have to keep using the steroid cream on it. and i hope that M doesn''t have food allergies, but i guess it would be good to check out just in case.

have a great weekend!!

hey can we post a video?
ok well here is a pic anyway of tyler trying rice cereal!!! thanks Burk for the tips!!! DH got the cereal at walmart. did use beechnut or the organic?

MOV02621.jpg

I have more exciting news to share! D''s first tooth is coming in! This morning I felt a sharp spot on his gums so I took a peak inside. I can see two thin white lines under his gums. Looks like he''ll have two bottom middle teeth soon!

TGAL, glad A loves the freeze dried fruits!

TACORI, not wrong of you but you are definitely nicer than me. Even with possible bling in mind, I''d still be pretty angry.

QT, wow, M is such a big girl! I didn''t realize that your pedi had already prescribed you ointment. I hope her rash goes away soon and it''s not due to food allergies. That''s great you get every other Friday off. I didn''t know you want baby #2 already. That''s exciting! Hope you had a fabulous walk!

LILI, sounds like J is a tiny girl, like her mommy.

PUFFY, yeah, I want to try and shield D from those nasty germs as much as possible so I''m sure the cover will be useful. Glad to hear B''s arm is much better and hope it''s good news next week! DH and I got 10 hours of sleep! Couldn''t believe it! It felt wonderful!

JANINE, I know getting an u/s is no fun but better get it checked out to be safe. I hope it''s nothing serious. When is the appointment? Hope C''s second tooth comes in quickly!

PAVE, unfortunately we can''t post videos. The picture of Tyler eating is so cute! Looks like he''s really enjoying the RC!

Snlee- that is soo great that D is getting his first tooth! Growing up! Also I can''t believe he slept so long. You are sooooo lucky. But you have been working hard at the sleep thing for a while so good for you. I am thinking of starting the baby whisperer again! hope you are having a great weekend.
oh by the way, I thought you lived in socal with Tgal! I am glad to know you are here. I live in Campbell. How about you?

Hey I didn''t know you were a bay area PSer too! We might be moving to the Livermore/Pleasanton area this summer. We''ll know soon. That would be a lot of fun to be able to get the boys together.

Tyler is so cute with his RC! My DH is out near you this weekend for an "interview" (but we now know they will make him an offer assuming the budget doesn''t get cut-yay!) and looking at houses so we are going to start the RC tomorrow when he comes home!

hi everyone!
delurking for a second (i don''t know how you guys find the time to keep up to date...this thread just moves SO stinkin'' fast!!!)

just wanted to say...
QT: regarding the rash on meena, triamcinolone is definitely safe to use for a short time on the face! we don''t prescribe it too often because 1) hydrocortisone usually works just as well and 2) you don''t want to get in the habit of throwing it on there all the time (it''s too strong for long term use on the face)...

our pediatric mantra is "itch free and flat." i always tell parents that unless the skin looks AND feels COMPLETELY normal, they need to continue to use the prescription cream. and always put vaseline on TOP of the prescription cream. once the rash is completely gone, switch to using the vaseline only. but don''t stop using the vaseline...or the rash will come back!! if m was my patient, and the rash was very bad, i would say to use the triamcinolone for maximum of 1 week, and then switch to hydrocortisone if the rash isn''t completely gone by then. and of course, the vaseline too!!

it''s pretty rare for food allergies to cause a persistent rash like that...more often it''s just from the constant wetness from drooling. vaseline is your friend!! :)

ok, enough completely unsolicited advice, but i hope it helps!!

as an fyi...coby''s 6 mo stats:
height: 25" (25%)
weight 15lb 9 oz (25% yay...up from 3rd and the 10th %ile!!)
and i can''t remember head...

he HATES solids! so far he''s only gotten rice cereal and oatmeal and spits them both out. i tried making sweet potatoes today, and he hates those too!! he''s waking up WAY too often and night and the pedi thinks he starving, so hopefully he''ll start eating soon. :)

anyway, thanks for posting all the GORGEOUS pics! what beautiful kiddos you all have!!!

Quick drive by

LIA
Thanks for your expert''s opinions/advices. I''ll keep using the ointment and will add a layer of vaseline.

LIA your little guy sounds so tiny, but i bet he''s still cute as ever.

snlee sleeping 11.5 hours and a tooth!! GO D!!! hope you and your DH get some good sleep tonight as well.

pave tyler looks so cute eating his RC!! so darn adorable your boy is.

i''m going to try to keep up for a few days (operative word being TRY).

PUFFY: thanks. i''ll tell you what, he doesn''t look small anymore. our pedi told me that she wouldn''t be surprised to see him carry ME in to her office at his next visit (he''s looking pretty chubby these days). i''m so sorry about what happened to B. it sounds like you''re doing an amazing job taking care of him!! and i can''t get over how incredibly verbal he is. so cute!

SNLEE: i LOVE that pic of d in the swing. he''s getting so big huh?? hooray on 11 hours of sleep! and teeth. so exciting. i love mama bargains. i keep stalking it hoping that they''ll put up the itsy ritsys again, but so far, no luck.

JANINE: don''t worry about the u/s. of all the tests they can do on kiddos, that is by far the least bothersome! you''ll probably just keep her distracted with a toy, and she won''t even know it''s going on! hopefully the click is nothing. i''d love to see a new pic!!

PAVE: omg, tyler is GORGEOUS. i''m jealous that he''s eating so well...what''s your secret??

NF: LOVE the prof pics you had taken. the boys are so adorable. how are they already 4 mo old? btw, i loved the pics from your get together with tacori too!

TACORI: ditto what i said to NF. that''s great about the gym! i would be SOO angry if dh wanted to take a month vacay. NOT FAIR. and what in the world is your MIL talking about? craziness!!

BURK: tayva is getting to be so beautiful (not that she ever wasn''t adorable, but man what a cutie!!). good luck with the ttc!

JAS12: i agree with everyone else... iwouldn''t wait to ttc. btw, i TOTALLY know what you mean about sometimes wanting another little boy (especially after seeing the twin pics). that is so cute that co is saying all those new words!

MRSS: i don''t know how YOU do it with 3 kids for 2 weeks at a time. you are a hero too! :) it will be so nice when you guys are all together again. hang in there!

TGAL: that''s fantastic that amelia is doing so well all of a sudden! LOL that all you needed to do was "threaten" her with pt!

BOBO: i totally get the protectiveness. how is little b doing? i love that you get him so many toys!! i can''t believe he is blowing kisses now. so cute.

QT: i meant to tell you earlier that i loved the m collage. she is so beautiful!

DREAMER: hi!! any new pics of hunter to post? he is such a handsome little guy!

LILI: LOL about breaking j. :) i hear you on the stubborn kiddo! coby is driving me nuts (it''s a good thing we love them, right??)

OK...i only went back one page, so i hope i didn''t miss too many people! coby is currently singing on the floor. he''s getting so VOCAL. and stubborn. he still won''t take a bottle (and i think i''ve tried nearly every one ever made). my nanny has had to bring him down to work on my full day to nurse at lunch! such a stinker! we have tried a sippy cup too, but no go. pedi said to try the straw cups, so that''s next...
as i mentioned before, he also is refusing solids. so far the only veggie he has tried is sweet potato...any suggestions on what i should try next? i''d like to get through some other vegs before going on to fruit, but this guy needs to start eating! he also doesn''t eat as much during the day. way too distracted and interested in what''s going on around him to focus on something as boring as eating!!

he woke up FIVE times last night. i''m losing my mind!! he truly slept 10-11 hours straight from 10 weeks through 5 months, and now he doesn''t last 3 hours. it''s out of control. i think it''s a combination of being hungry (he ATTACKS me when i go in there), and breaking out of his swaddle (yes, he''s 6 months, and still being swaddled although i''m trying to phase it out!). and he did have his vaccinations a couple days ago, so maybe that''s bothering him a bit too (although he wasn''t sleeping before them either). maybe he''ll cut a tooth soon? he is VERY congested. and HATES the saline in the nose.

any suggestions??!!!

ok, over and out!
xo,LIA

here''s a pic of him being a poker face a few weeks ago. the smiling pics are much cuter, but i can''t find any right now...

LIA oh your son is soooo cute!!! I have trouble getting pictures of T smiling- baby pics are like diamond pics- no easy task, haha. I am sorry that Colby is giving you a hard time on the eating. To tell you the truth, so is Tyler. He eats his biggest feeds at night!!!! all night- usually has a 5 hour stretch and then wakes each 2-3 hours to eat. what a stinker. During the day he snacks- so he might eat for a few minutes each 1-3 hours. It is insane. The baby whispererer recommends not feeding all night and then they will wake up hungry the next morning...But I have to get my husband on board with that and also commit to it...not an easy task. Oh I guess I like that phrase right now. I tried the rice cereal because I am desperate, but I''m concerned about causing him tummy troubles.
Would you consider doing that? I also think the baby whisperer would say make sure you have enough milk? Maybe it''s just a growth spurt? The week of vaccines is hard though.
the other thing that moms here have said about solids is (well I think they have) you have to keep trying but you can''t really force them which I am sure you know already. Lilis daughter used the bendy straws and I''m pretty sure she never would take a bottle. Tyler won''t really either- he used to but changed his mind. I have tried the nuby(soft bottle/soft nipple that you can actually squeeze the milk in). Have you tried that? My friend also is bringing me a cleft palate nurser which you can also squeeze. Can you get one from the hospital?
The other mommies will chime in I am sure. I hope things get better and I wish I could be more helpful and also solve my problem too! Good luck!!!

Bobo, I wish we could get all the PS babies together. What a blast that would me! T is a silly girl for sure. I think 30 days is crazy but why pick a fight that will be years away. I am glad you all agree with me. Makes me feel better!

Q, she is a big girl! Hope the rash is better. I think the trip WILL happen. WHo knows if it will really be 30 days or when it will happen.

Lili, you aren't the first to say I am too easy with him. I guess I just HATE fighting. But he has been SUPER nice to me the last few days saying what a cool wife I am.

I might as well look cool right? J hasn't hit 20 lbs yet? Oh what a delicate little flower!

Sometimes I feel I am the ONLY voice of reason.

janine, petite isn't always a bad thing! Teething sucks.

Snlee, AMAZING! Go D! I am sure I will be more angry once the trip happens.

pave, we cannot post videos but cut still!

LIA, I am having derm issues! Wish you lived by me. Being a mom vs dad is not fair in general. Meh. MIL is kinda strange sometimes. I wonder what she would have said if FIL wanted to do a 30 day trip when her kids were little

Sorry C won't take a bottle. How frustrating! If he is refusing solids maybe he is not ready. Hope he starts sleeping soon. ADORABLE picture!
