Tac- going to bed w.o. a fuss is a goal i am tryin to desperatley accomplish..bc my niece is a monster when it comes to going to bed. so u think bathing evey nite will create a harder routine? in that case u may be onto smthg...bc i need simple bedtime routine!
poor T ...teething is killer i am soooo not looking forward to those days ...i feel their pain
7.gif

Blen
I'd take getting peed on over the other 2 possibilities anyday
2.gif

You must be exhausted! I hope you get a good night's sleep
24.gif

Tacori
Thanks! They do get along pretty well.
Sorry that Tessa is teething! Cute story. I love when they act like "there is no other person that I love in the whole world more than my MOM! Must get to MOM!" It is the best

nygbkg
Sounds like scar tissue, but good that you are going soon. I would wait a little longer to get your rings resized. Maybe an interim push present ring that can later be a right hand ring? Do you get a present for each baby?
31.gif
hehehe

Diva
Thanks! Isn't trying new table foods so much fun?
CIO is hard. It worked with Sam, but not with Ava.

Diva, it is always hard to hear them cry but sounds like James might have you guys trained
2.gif

nyc, we seriously plop her into her crib. That's our routine
41.gif
She gets a bath a few hours before bed and we read throughout the day. I know bath, bottle, book, bed is very popular so not sure. All I know is it works for us. Tessa dives for her crib most nights and turned out to be a good sleeper (after a rough 6 months). At her age I think baths get her excited and worked up anyways. I am glad she doesn't expect them right before bed. I seriously think the teething gets worse as the bigger teeth come in.

iluv, the 3 year old was trying to help her but lifting her over but of course she was not strong enough to lift T AND the lady stopped the little girl and basically told her it was not ok to touch T. It was pretty funny watching her though. Made me feel loved and important.
16.gif

Lili, BTW I went to the Derm today and he said those little red marks (you are the one who said you got them too right?) is normal with pregnancy and age but will fade (at least the preggo related ones). I just wanted to make sure they weren''t bad.

iluv~We were supposed to get the plans yesterday so I figured maybe today but no.
7.gif
I want to share them, but don''t really want to start a thread that says everyone come look at my house ya know? So maybe I''ll ask admin to reopen the thread you started about old houses if you don''t mind and post a few pics of the plans in there? Oh, and I feel much better, thanks so much for asking! As usual, your kids are so adorable!

nyc~Just for another perspective, we do a bath as part of bed time routine most nights and our T is a great sleeper. She knows the routine like the back of her hand (even the part where she has to do her nebulizer treatment for her asthma
7.gif
). After her whole routine she plays for a while and when she''s ready to go to bed she says "ni ni" and walks to the stairs. I think as long as you stick with the same thing every night so your child knows what to expect you''ll be fine.

Blen~Such a sweetie pie! I can''t believe it''s been four weeks already!!

Tacori~So cute about Tessa going to the big kid room. Like I said to iluv, I want to start a thread so I can get all of your help but I don''t really want everyone to be looking at my house for privacy reasons so I think I may just reopen that old thread iluv started...or maybe just start a thread calling for you or something. We''ll see...

Diva~T went through as super picky phase eating and now is a great eater. I just kept giving her different foods and eventually she caved!
3.gif

Just spent 2 hours organizing my closet. Trying to get everything in order since we put our house on the market yesterday and we have a open house Sunday. So much to do.
6.gif

burk
Uggg! Putting the house on the market is such a PIA
But you mentioned before that you are pretty neat and tidy, so I bet you don''t have as much to do as you think.

Maybe you should start a new thread in FHH where we can put all house projects?

Oh Blen...I want to squeeze George!! He is such a cutie papootie!!

Alila latched on to my nipple without the shield at her last feeding! I was so excited and DH actually teared up. When I put her to the other breast, she wouldn''t take it so I had to use the shield for that one. But this is great progress! I still want the consultant to come (Friday morning) if not just for the baby scale she''s bringing so we can see how much Alila is getting per feeding.

I look forward to having more time to keep up with all of you on this thread, but I''m sure you all understand my position right now.
1.gif

Here''s a more recent pic of Alila

psalila.jpg

blen awww, george is such a cutie!!!

courtney alila is so precious!! and yay for her latching on without the shield!

burk are you feeling better? hope the open house goes smoothly. i can only imagine how much work is involved in putting a house on the market

iluv have we seen that pic before? either way, i love it!! your kids, all 3 of them, are so cute!

tacori did T do well with the older kids? did she freak out when you left?

diva that''s good that james took to some table food. it''s a start. how is your little guy doing?

lili
Thanks. M is slowly getting better. Her voice is back now.
Hope J feels better soon. Poor girl.

NYC
We did bathe M every night as a part of a bedtime routine. I didn''t use soap everyday, just every 2-3 days with soap. Now we are only bathing M every 3 days to help with her eczema. I do think she sleeps better on the days that she get a bath.
We love the boon. It''s so easy to clean and use. M looks comfy in it.
The congested thing is normal. M was like that for weeks.

Tacori
I love Target for baby clothes too. So cute yet so affordable.
Your pics do look professional. You are getting really good with the camera.
Hope teething is over soon.
Glad your skin is ok.

curly
Happy 2nd Birthday Lily!!! She is so pretty.

MrsS
Yay for Jake standing up unassisted.

Diva
You sound busy at work. Hope you get to take a breather once in a while.
Glad that your MIL is doing well.
That''s a tough situation with your friend T. I would find it stressful to have to walk on eggshells around a friend. Maybe something will work out.
Yay for table food progress.
We are doing well. I am excited about this weekend.

puffy
Glad you guys are doing great. I know it''s early, but have you thought about how to tell B about his little bro/sis?

Blen
I made my first week back a short week too. It helped ease the transition for me.
Love the pic of George. He looks so sweet.

sbde
Welcome (officially) to the Mommies Thread. Giggles ARE the cutest.

Pave
Sorry about your DH''s trip. I am surprised that your parents think you need to suck it up. I got a lot of help when M was younger, and I still get help now when I need it.

Burk
You are going to be busy with selling the house and building the new house.

Courtney
Alila is so precious.
Yay for latching without nipple shields. She''ll get it eventually.

So DH asked me yesterday if I want jewelry or a DSLR camera for Mother''s Day. He wanted to surprise me, but didn''t know which I prefer. I didn''t give him an answer yet b/c I am not sure. So he said he''ll give me a coupon, and I can turn it in when I decide. He is so silly. I can''t decide, but am leaning toward DSLR camera.

Happy 2nd bday to Lily!!

for Jake standing on his own.
He should be walking sooo soon now.
You know, J didn''t stand up on her own until a week after she started walking.
When she realized that she could stand up w/o props....that''s when she really like walking.

Tacori
Glad to hear that the red bumps are a non-issue.
Those kids must went gaga over little Miss Sunshine there
5.gif

Any more of pictures from your photo shoot to share?
I can''t get enough of little Tessa.

QT
Haha, get the jewelry. Tell DH that *you* are planning on getting him the DSLR for father''s day

Just when I think Sam can't possibly get any cuter, I'll find random freckles in obscure places like inside his ears
30.gif

Oh goodness-how freaking adorable is that???

NCY Hunter has the same snorty thing as Jackie... it was very disturbing and we also thought it was a cold... it wasn''t at all because he did it for weeks and weeks. Finally fount out some babies don''t swallow all their milk and it sort of sits a little at the back of the throat and that makes a congested sound when they breath. He grew out of it. Apparently is it *very* unusual for a newborn baby to get a cold.

Courtney Great news!

Re Baths: I think that part of the idea is to signal to the child that bedtime is coming, rather than to relax them. Do whatever works. We like the bath thing because we use it when Hunter is just starting to look tired, then it prolongs his bedtime by 30 minutes. I like him to go down closer to 8:30 because then he only wakes once in the night to feed then wakes for the day around 8am. If he goes down earlier then he will sometimes wake at 7:30 or so for another feeding
14.gif
So the bath helps us a lot in that respect! But he is an easy guy and even tired just goes with the bathtime flow. If he screamed bloody murder we wouldn''t do it!

ILUv what an adorable pic of your kids when your son was small!!! They grow so fast, huh?

Blen George looks adorable! What a good mommy doing tummy time already. And George looks like he likes it!!!
I just started to try cloth all in ones today! wish me luck!!!
Diva Glad to hear your mil is doing well. What great news!

NYC I don't do bathes frequently for the baby- once or twice a week. my dh was always complaining that he smelled, haha. So I caved and am doing more frequent ones and now the baby has some eczema. shoot I don't know. I thought about it for the nighttime routine, but baths were so stressful for me that I didnt think I could swing it for bedtime.

Lili I sure hope J is doing better. Did she take the pedialyte? I know it must be hard when your bby is sick.

Tacori- It would be music to my ears if T starts to self soothe. I forget sometimes what a rough start he had and I'm sure I just need to relax about it!!!!

Nycb oh yeah the snorting thing I would not worry about- just ask your ped when you go again. But little ones have such tiny airways and sometimes they are floppy and make noises. Also like dd said the milk sometimes goes up their noses. Tyler has such a noisy throat but his is a little different b/c he was intubated for almost a couple of weeks.

Tacori im glad to hear the red marks are not anything to wrry about! yay. skin stuff scares me because it can be so easy to ignore and then you hear about others serious cancers and stuff. good for you for getting it checked out!

Burk- sorry you ddin't get your plans yet. I am so impatient for stuff like that it would drive me crazy. I would love to hear about your stuff in either place. good luck with the open house. can you fix my closets for me? jk

courtney- how awesome that the baby latched! I remember how happy and amazed I was when bf started working. My bby was able to latch on one side better than the other because my nips were two different sizes. eventually(not too long) he could do either equally well. keep up the good work- oh and just a word of warning- I would have very good days of bf and then the baby would not have a good day and I would wonder what am I doing wrong and put alot of pressure on myslef. try not to do this- Im sure not everyone is as kooky as me but just thought I would mention it!!! oh and Alia is just beautiful!!!!!

Puffy- hi. how are you feeling? how is B doing? all better?

Qtiekki- thanks for the support. I know I'm kinda disappointed in my parents response but what are you gonna do. I swear my mom is almost jealous that todays moms can get help or something. thats all she ever says- I never had help. blah blah blah. ah well. Oh my nanny can actually help me extra while dh is away b/c her other family is on vacation. this makes me feel waaaaaay better about things. I think I can get through any night knowing someone will relieve me for a few hours in the morning! hooray!
Oh you are so lucky for a nice gift for mothers day. What a difficult choice to make! any decisions yet? I love that oec pendant that bobo got and also tacoris and tgals pics are so awesome with those nikon cameras. hmmmm..

ok- questions time

We are going to fly to Phila in June. T will be 6 months or so. Anyone recommend a red eye? I was kind of thinking that T would be more sleepy? My dh thinks its rude to the other ppl flying but I don't think so. Also, we can stay for 9 days, but for those who have traveled with a l.o. as far as being difficult on the infant, would a shorter trip be better or is 9 days a better idea so he can kinda get used to things? I know he may have trouble since he seems to be a little *sensitive* haha. So maybe I should keep it shorter in case its really hard on him?

hope you all are having a great day!!!

oh one more thing. I still have anxiety (like many moms I guess) about the baby. For a while, the baby will have dry diapers o/n for hours at a time. like 6-8. Now last night he had a dry diaper for like12 hours!!!! I know he is hydrated cause he is drooling like crazy and he makes diapers all day. anyone experience something similar? I already asked the pedi and he says if something was wrong with the baby's bladder, he would have gotten a uti(like if the muscle doesn't work right and urine just stays in there until it s too full). any urologists on the board? thanks you guys.

Burk, whatever makes you feel comfortable. I am sure they will re-open iluv''s thread.

Courtney, that is wonderful news! She is adorable.

Puffy, no she didn''t freak out. It was funny b/c when I dropped her off a couple babies were crying. I kept thinking TG she is NOT in the baby room today. Once one kid cries it throws everything off. I was surprised they put her in the preschool room but I am sure T held her own.
2.gif

Q, get the camera. I am going to sell my two lens (not sure for how much or anything) and get the long one like T-Gal. Personally that would work better for me but my neighbor has the same camera and only uses one lens over the other (which is funny b/c I use the short lens more). I probably should have just bought the body and not the package but oh well. It takes awesome pics. I hate typical studio pics (with the back drop) so it works well. I think it might be time to take the foam out of the Boon. She is getting big!

Lili, you are so hard on me
2.gif
3.gif
9.gif
I just posted 4! I think some "big" kids love babies/toddlers some just ignore them. I didn''t spy too long b/c class was so hard I thought I was going to have a stroke. I just wanted to go home.

iluv, they were such cute babies. BTW is the baby fever gone?

DD, T got her first cold at 4 months. I think she caught something on the airplane. But overall she has been a really healthy baby. It is hard when they are so young b/c you can use any medicine.

Pave, oh the first 6 months were tough on all of us. My dad nicknamed her "the reason there are only children"
23.gif
I call it survival period. You need to do whatever YOU need to do to get through that time. That meant lots of swing, swaddle, and white noise for us. Remember, Tessa may have been an unhappy new born but she is SUCH a happy baby/toddler. Once she started STTN at 6 months everything got easier, lighter, happier. So don''t give up home mama! Traveling during sleep time could make things MUCH easier. Tell your DH not to worry about other people. If you guys can handle it would go for it. We had a late flight once and T slept in the Bijoin the whole time. I personally don''t think the length of trip matters.

wow, i'm behind, sorry that i'm not able to make individual posts.

things are busy, DH and I decided to not do the u/s on C's leg. Mostly because we realize the "click" is in her knee, and not the hip. And I think an occassional pop in the knee is not as much of a concern. We just don't want her to go through this 30 min procedure if it's not really necessary. If I hadn't brought it up to the dr., I don't think it would have even be noticed. Plus we are probably going to take her to a pedi othamologist so one thing at time. She was born with a thin line in one eye (barely noticeable, and kind of unique looking). I'm thinking and hoping it's not a problem since she shows no other indication of eye problems or strain. No other pedis mentioned it in the past (except to acknowledge it was there), but I feel we should have a specialist take a look just in case.

otherwise she's doing well and can't stay still! rolling non stop in order to move across the floor. And she says DADADADA and MAMAMAMA alot. I don't think she knwos what it means, but sure seems to be a coincidence! She has started to grab food out of our hands and try to eat it. Cookies and bread seem to be targeted food. She still is not crazy about milk..drinks a few oz then just wants to play with the bottle and analyze it with her hands. It takes effort now to get her to finish..I think I have a fussy eater! I just hope she doesn't lose weight.

sorry for the janine-centric post, but will try to catch up soon!

iluv~Yep, total PITA. I am pretty anal retentive about organization and cleaning so it''s just some extra de-cluttering and I''ve been packing some stuff to take to our storage unit to help make the house look bigger. Once I get some pics of the plans I''ll start a new thread. Still haven''t got the plans!
7.gif
Love that pic of Ana and Sam!

Courtney~What a cutie!! Glad things are going better in the BFing department.

puffy~I feel much better, thanks so much for asking! On one hand I hope that we sell quickly so we''re less stressed about it selling and I won''t have to worry about keeping it "show ready" at all times but on the other hand I don''t want to have to move in with the IL''s until our house is done!
23.gif

QT~Yep, busy busy. I''m so excited for school to be out so that I can be home with T during the days. What a thoughtful DH you have! I''d get the camera!

pave~I''m a pretty patient person (I have to be-I teach middle school!
2.gif
) but waiting for these plans is making me crazy!
3.gif
You''re going to laugh at me, but my closet is actually an entire guest room- 12 X 12 room. It''s pretty much insane. I was trying to clean it out so it looks bigger since it''s a bedroom. I ended up donating a lot of stuff to Goodwill. I agree with Tacori about your trip, length really shouldn''t matter and flying at night could be perfect so he will just sleep.

Tacori~Once I get the plans, I''ll let you know that I''m starting a new thread. Might be another day or so because MIL convinced DH yesterday that we need another bathroom upstairs
20.gif
. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms for kid(s) and what will be the guest room for a while until we finish the basement. I see no reason why little kids (we only plan to be in this house 10 years or so) need two bathrooms and why we should pay another $25,000 for another bathroom but MIL has him convinced and I can''t change his mind.
33.gif

Tacori--love the photoshoot results, T''s hair is getting long and she looks like her momma i think! Love the ''model walk''
6.gif
)

Curlyi--Miss Lily is becoming such a little girl--she is really a beauty

--i am still reading a bit but i think i am dropping down to lurker status. Got tons on the go. The ball is rolling on the house stuff--we planned to be digging this week but load restrictions in the area are preventing the heavy machinery from coming in (we are just thawing out around here, ice finally gone etc. so things are behind schedule)
Someone kidnapped my busy but otherwise chill little guy and replaced him with a little terror. Co refuses to be held, changed, clothed, washed etc. he is SO busy right now he doesn''t even want to sit still to eat and guzzles when he nurses then literally flings himself off of me to get back to playing. Sheesh. I am totally jealous of moms who have cuddle-bug babies. Still miles away from walking. He''s so quick on all fours he seems to have no desire to be upright. He''s also talking up a storm--a few new words every week. They are not all clear, and won''t say much on demand, but he has a very big vocab for a one year old i think.

Burk--i''ll be checking your home-thread with interest! Our houses sound so similar! 2600 sq/ft, mudroom off the garage, open concept kitchen/living area (cathedral ceiling), den, bathroom on main level. 3 bedroom (master bathroom with ensuite), office and bathroom on 2nd level. 2 car garage, unfinished basement.

Just quickly dropping in - we''re about to take G to his hip u/s - but I was wondering if a larger rib cage/bust is a permanent post-preg thing or if that''s going to go down with time. Or does it just depend on the person?

Jas12~Cuddle? What's that?
41.gif
T has always been to busy to do anything but play. Fun, isn't it?
9.gif
It does sound like our plans are super similar....providing we actually get our plan. I'll start a thread as soon as I do. You'll have to post your plan, too, and any other inspiration you have!!

Blen~I think it depends on the person.

iluv- aaah scar tissue never thought of that
7.gif
i will wait then to resize the rings....i am def trying to come up with a nice push present idea...i was thinking of a puzzle type ring with amethyst center and diamond sides...sounds like a plan
31.gif

Tac- that sounds like a really good routine to have...i have to tell ya...last nite jon ate 60cc (he usally eats 30 avg) then 1/2 hr later we gave him a bath ..then bff (shes here from cali helpin me out) swaddled him (a la youtube video way) and he was out like a light for 3 hrs! i just cant bathe them on my own right now...but will have to try it eventually..im very dependant on others right now but bff swears it will get better and i will start doing things on my own and be ok with it...i duno about that
40.gif

Burk- thanks for sharing your routine and sounds like u have it down pact too...i guess i just have to experiment and see what works best and stick with it on a daily basis...i guess it will get easier as they get a little older

Court- yay for bf success!!

Qt- appreciate the congestion info...that makes me feel a lot better to know that its normal..bc jon doesnt do that so i thought jackie might have a nasal issue...my sis cleans out the boogies almost daily and sometimes it is all clogged in there and then she sleeps better but glad to know that its nothing!
and woohoo for DH and his mothers day offerings!!!
9.gif

DD- makes sense about the milk...they hold that stuff in there ...i tell yaa ...they may be secretly making cottage cheese!!
11.gif

baths: i really want them to get used to it and not hate it so i will try incorporating water into daily routine,,,even washing up after pooping...cant say they hate it but im sure they are cold and not into it just yet. it will get better...keep telling ureself that nyc
37.gif

pave- hmm interesting about the eczema...is it in relation to bathing frequently??

MIL is beginning to really get to me...she is really helpful by coming 8-3 and letting us sleep but she just irritates me soooo much!!! she says her friend went to go buy stuff for the kids ..she said oh nice clothes to wear and take pics in...im like...well ppl have diff taste and i really dont like clothes being forced upon me...shes like well we will put it on and take pics..im like...NO if i dont like the clothes im not putting it on my child...maybe im being selfish but the things her friends got so far are soooo far from anything i would let my kids be seen in! i say thank u and put it away.
she also acts like the kids are great with her and then at nite bad with me. urgh! i keep sayin...just a lilttle longer then we wont need her services
4.gif

Janine, sounds like C is doing great! Even if she doesn''t say "Mama" meaning you, it''s still nice to hear
2.gif

Burk, so funny. We only have 2.5 baths and I like it that way b/c I HATE cleaning them.

Jas12, She does look a lot like me. Really only her mouth and eye color are different from when I was her age. It will be interesting to see if she continues to look like my b/c DH and I CERTAINLY don''t look alike. So exciting to hear about your house! Must be fun to build from scratch. I am jealous of you and Burk. T was never a cuddle bug...still isn''t. BUT she is very into giving us kisses now. So that is something to look forward to. Can''t remember when it started. Maybe around 14 or 15 months? T talks nonstop too. I was shocked when the doc asked today if she knew 10 words (which I guess is the norm for 18 months
33.gif
) She knows so much more and even started stringing 2 or 3 words together.

Blen, I feel like mine never went completely back to normal. Maybe b/c mine was really small before. Oh, I miss my petite little body.

nyc, I am all about easy and flexible. She DOES have a routine. It isn''t all free form but nighttime is about sleep. Makes like easier b/c I am about to crash by the time her bedtime comes around (with one kid keep in mind) I cannot imagine having the energy for an hour long routine. From one DIL to another (with passive aggressive MIL) I would just grin and bare it for right now. She is being VERY generous with her time. I 90% hate the clothes my MIL buys for T b/c we all have different tastes but I do dress her in those clothes when I know MIL is going to be around. I figure it is the least I can do. Would I dress her in it for a special occasion or something? NO WAY! But for random days it doesn''t bother me.

Opps...forgot to post about T. Poor thing. We went to her 18 month appointment today. In the waiting room (on the WELL side) a girl threw up
14.gif
Rude. That is why they have a SICK side
20.gif
She was charming as usual and flirting with the nurses. She is currently getting ALL FOUR K9s
23.gif
32.gif
38.gif
which would explain the extreme fussiness she had last night. I have been told THOSE are the most painful to get since they are pointed. Bummer that they are coming in at once but at least we will get them over with. She has 12 other teeth so that will be 16. She got 2 shots so between that and the teething she went to bed at 6. I can't decide if I should wake her up or not. Part of me feels like no b/c I KNOW she's gotta be in pain. The shots alone hurt.

Stats:
weight 25.6 lbs (75%)
height 33" (75%)
head 18.75 (65%)

So she is up from her 50% height/weight at her 12 months not that I take much stock in % tiles. Doc says she looks great.
16.gif

ETA: not sure if it is regional but I wanted to alert you all that CVS has pamper jumbos for $8.99 which is a dollar cheaper than most other sale prices. Plus if you have coupons...you get the drift. Run don't walk. Limit 3.

I am so behind, took two days off work to stay home with little B. I think I got whatever he have too.

Thanks Burk, since I don't know what to get her for mother's day I thought I'll give her my pendant. It's been crazy looking at cabinets and appliances I think I'm going to die. I need a ready to move in home.

Tacori, I love the photos of Tessa, especially the model walk. Future supermodel!

Thanks Puffy, he is better now. still running nose and coughing but no fever.

iluv, I'm hanging there. with little B sick and me sick and shopping for kitchen cabinets I'm not really a happy camper.

lili, sorry to hear J is still sick. poor baby~

Curly, Lily is adorable, can't believe she is two. A late happy birthday to her!

MrsS, yeah on Jake standing up unassisted!! Soon he'll be running around the house.

Diva, I'm so happy to hear your MIL won't need to have chemo or radiation!!

Courtney, Alila is just too cute!

Got it run, will try to finish catching up later!

nyc~Sorry your MIL is getting under your skin. Even the best MIL''s have their moments. I don''t love all the stuff my MIl (and others for that matter) buy but I often times dress her in some of the stuff if I know she''s going to see the person who gave it to her. She doesn''t wear this stuff in pictures or for special events, but I do have her wear it because I know it makes the people who bought the outfit happy. Hang in there with your MIL. Vent away here. We all understand, as we''ve all been there!

Tacori~T went to bed at 4:45 one night and I hem-hawed about waking her but in the end just let her sleep and she slept until the next morning at 7:45!!

I''m sure poor Tessa just needs to rest since she''s going through a lot with all those teeth!! Yuck about the girl puking at the dr''s office. But yay for a super successful visit! Miss Tessa isn''t such a shorty anymore!

I think I finally won the bathroom battle. I don''t want to have to clean another one and think it''s totally unnecessary. We''ll see if my victory is permanent.

A couple weeks ago my mom was supposed to come help me get my pots planted but it rained all weekend so last night we went and purchased all the plants and tonight I planted them all. Tayva was a great helper. She loved playing with the little shovel and playing in the dirt and entertained herself the entire hour it took me to get everything planted. Success!

Bobo~I''m sure your mom will love the pendant! I still need to get my mom something!!

Are you coming any closer to choosing cabinets and appliances? You should post some pics and we can help you! I love that kind of stuff!

Bobo, you are going to give your mom your new pendant? No! Then we can never see pics again.

Burk, wow! I am impressed! Tessa walks to our neighbors every time I let her which I am NOT cool with. I wish she would stay close but no...she tries to escape all the time.

Yay for getting your pots planted. Tessa is not so short anymore I guess. But who knows how tall she will be. I HOPE taller than me.

Tacori~Oh, I did it in the back fenced yard. No need to be too impressed!

She usually tried to run off but with all the pots and dirt and shovel and gloves she had quite a bit to entertain her so it worked out great. I was nervous but figured I didn''t need to finish so I just gave it a try. How tall are you? Your DH is tall, right? Genetics is such a weird thing. I''m 5''10" and my sister is 5''5" I think Tayva will be tall b/c DH and I both are but we have short genetics on both sides, too, so who knows.

Tacori/Burk- yeh i suppose u r right about just being "nice" to MIL and i suppose i can dress them in her hideous outfits when shes around...but they will NOT go outside in them lol! urgh what we have to put up with,,,,now that i have a son ..i cant bare to think i will one day be a MIL myself
