snlee, T was so fussy at first my dad nicknamed her "the reason there are only children"
23.gif
Now she is so sweet and laid-back.

puffy, I am proud. I mean, not like I thought she would never walk but it is fun to see her do new things. Oh, by the way her front two teeth FINALLY broke through! They are only out 1 mm or so (and you know how long it takes for them to totally be in). I think DH was starting to get worried.

Bobo, oh, not sure which is worse! I should of asked my dad about room spinning situation. He also said he would check something in my neck when he sees me at Thanksgiving.

Q, puffy really has an early walker! I think T is on the early side but closer to average (which I am only guessing is 12 months). She really seems to love wobbling around and unless she hurts herself never cries when she falls.

Jas, sounds like you and those boys are doing great! T starting drooling (and vomiting) so early so she wore a bib all the time the first 6 months or so. Helped keep the laundry down.

Jas12, the first 4 months for me was about survival! Haha! Now that she is like a little person instead of a baby it is lots of fun. I get dizzy spells a few times a day. I should have blood work done. Arggg...Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

Tacori~Thanks! I can''t believe how fast her hair has been growing. You''ll have to post some pics of T with her new overpriced clips (I wouldn''t even tell my husband how much they cost!
2.gif
) FYI-I found clips on sale for my mom to use as the inside part as she tries to recreate the giddy giddy''s at Target for like $1.50 the other day. So fun that T''s officially on the move walking!!!

snlee~Derek will be using the rattle before you know it. It goes so darn fast!!

puffy~Thank you! Girls are fun for us mommies!
3.gif
Maybe your next one will be a girl.

Bobo~Thanks!

QT~Thanks! You better be posting some pics of your little duck!

jas~Good to *see* you around. I''m sure those boys are keeping you plenty busy!

jas12~Thanks! Both Dh and I have naturally wavy hair so we''re interested to see what happens with T''s hair. My sister had ringlets when she was young and also lost it by the time she was 4 or 5 just like you so who knows. Sounds like your family had a great Thanksgiving. And hurray for better weather!!

Okay. Gotta vent. When I dropped T off at daycare this morning my daycare provider told me she''s moving (to another state)! This coming Saturday!!!
29.gif
What in the h*** am I going to do??? She has a hard situation with her husband I guess and needs to get out, which I totally understand, but no daycare is going to have an infant opening for next Monday. Like I''m not stressed out enough the way it is.

Oh, and in good news, T had her 9 mo pics this weekend and her proofs are up on the website. They really turned out very good considering she only took pics for about 20 minutes. I can post the site if anyone is interested in going and checking them out?

Burk, I''d love to see Tayva''s pics
1.gif

Tacori, yay for top front teeth.

speaking of teeth, Jake''s first tooth has broken through
36.gif

mrss YAY for Jake''s first tooth!!! has he been sleeping better?

jas sounds like being a mommy is really your "calling!!" glad you and the boys are doing well.

burk i would love to see T''s pics also. so now that she''s moving, you have to look for another daycare provider for T? that sucks!! what short notice too!!!

jas12 hopefully there are no more left overs to have turkey sandwiches!! did you end up making the cuppies? how were they?

tacori YAY for the teeth finally coming in!!! i *think* 4 of B''s teeth are trying to break through soon. he''ll have a whole set real soon
6.gif
B is doing relatively well in the walking department. he''ll walk for a bit and decide that he''ll need a little break and sit down to play. i guess he was walking around 10 months, but a lot of friends say that their little guys were walking that early too, so i''m starting to think that he''s on the average. but either way, it''s becoming a pain but also so fun to keep up with him. and he''s getting pretty smart about falling. if he senses he''s going to fall, he''ll hold out his arms to kinda brace himself. pretty funny.

qt i can''t wait to see M as a duck! that is so adorable!!!

lili i LOVE baby feet! they are just about the cutest things ever!! how''s miss J doing?

so just out of curiosity, have any of you guys looked into preschool? and if so, did you get your child enrolled?

mrss~Yay for the first tooth!!!
36.gif

puffy~Yea, I have to find an new daycare provider before next Monday. Really short notice. It seriously makes me ill to think about it. Not sure how that''s going to work. I talked to my MIL today and she has a ton of leave time built up so if worse comes to worse she can watch her next week and then we have fall break the following week so I''ll be home with her so that will give me a little more time to figure out a new situation. Too cute that B puts his arms out when he falls.
30.gif

Here''s the website for T''s pics: http://greenorchidproofs.weebly.com/ Just click on her name and then the password is GOphoto3 Let me know if you have any favorites!
2.gif
9.gif

burk, you''ve got some great pics!! I don''t know how you''ll choose. I always have such a hard time choosing the best pics of my kids/family when I have a pro do them. I love the pic of your hubby with tayva...i just love pics of babies with their daddy''s, they always melt my heart
30.gif

Thanks Mrss! I really like the ones with T and her daddy too. Especially the one where they're both laughing. I like a lot of them, I really don't know how I'll choose.

Thanks Qtiekiki. Can''t wait to see M in her costume.

Thanks jas.

Tacori, let me know what your dad said about ur neck and you should definitely get blood work done.

Burk, hope you find a new daycare soon. I love all the photos but my selections are #12, 99, 105, 117, 120, 137 & 138

9.gif

janine, forgot to say that I still am hurting down there too! I had my 2-week appointment last friday and my MW said I'm healing fine so the pain is normal. I hope it goes away soon. Are you still using your squirt bottle? I stopped because I didn't know how long I was supposed to use it for but I've started using it again since you're supposed to use it ad long as you still have lochia.

Q, can't wait to see M as a ducky! I don't think I'll dress D up this year, as we're not going out and he'll only be 5 weeks old.

jas, sounds like you and the boys are doing well. I'd love to see more pictures of them whn you have a chance.

Jas12, sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Burk, omg I'm sorry to hear about your daycare issue. That totally sucks! I hope you can find another great daycare soon. I'd love to see the pictures of T!

MrsS
, yay for Jake's first tooth! How exciting!

Jas12 and MrsS, hope your little ones are sleeping better.

Not much going on with me. Just trying to survive the next month or so and trying to enjoy this time when he's tiny. He's already getting bigger, chubbier, and heavier. At his 2-week appointment he weighted 6 lbs 12 oz, which is more than his birth weight and he gained 1 lb 3 oz in 10 days!

Bobo~Thanks! I appreciate the favorites. I wrote them all down!
2.gif

snlee~Yea, rough situation. Hopefully we''ll get it figured out. Thanks for the sympathies. I posted the website up above if you''re interested in checking out T''s pics. Oh, and for the pain down there. Totally normal. I loved my squirt bottle! Yay for D''s weight gain. He must be eating like a champ! Keep up the good work.
9.gif

burk i love all the pics!!! she is such a pretty little one
30.gif
good luck picking out which ones you want cause you have so many good ones to choose from.
well, that''s good that you''ve got the next 2 weeks covered for someone to watch T. i guess it could be a lot worse if you didn''t have your MIL and your break the following week. cute new avatar!

snlee good thing about D''s weight! he must be up pretty often eating? when B was that little, he was up every 2-2.5 hours for the first month or so. he is going to be a big boy before you know it, so i''m glad to hear that you''re trying to enjoy this time
1.gif

so here''s some funny news, B was walking across the living room today and as he was doing it, he was clapping and laughing at the same time! he cracks me up! and today i took him shopping, and i was put him down so i can pay, so i grabbed his hand, and he wanted to let go of my hand. so i let him go after i paid, and he was off exploring. it is so cute watching him wobble away. i LOVE it.

hello ladies...

yay to all the new teeth pooping in to our little babies!!

burk: ur girl is just so gosh darn gorgeous!! shes gonna be a heart breaker !! sorry bout the sucky daycare news!

Tacori/Puffy: yay for all the baby steps!!! i just love it when they first start walking...

Q; can''t wait to see M in her little outfit!

as for me, its just been really busy with work and the house and life in general..heres a few pics of little K during our trip to Oman....

and on the food front: on top of the new food items we''ve given him previously, he''s now been introduced to rice and curry, Neapolitan pasta and rice with chicken, cheddar cheese and peas.. ..he doesnt like them all, but he DOES eat them reluctantly..we still mix it with some of his pureed food so he has an easier time swallowing it, but at least its some progress rite?? that kid has a full set of teeth almost and he refuses to chew..sigh!!

That is some pretty pool water for a backdrop of your little boy, Msb700.

Cute pictures!

great pics MSB...he''s adorable...

Tacori
Go Tessa!
Wow, she''ll be running in no time.
Isn''t it amazing how fast they progress?
She went from taking her first steps to walking across the room in a matter of days!

Love the designs you ordered for the clips.
They were out of stocks from the site we ordered.
Hehe, I had the notion of making the clips myself,
but when I think about it, it is probably going to cost me just as much if not more to make them.
It''s not like we can just buy a small section of the felt needed
41.gif

But it is fun to make them yourself and you can have a one of a kind design too.

Burk
Thanks for the posting Tayva''s curls, and I haven''t forgot :D
Isn''t she just a lovely thing? Her hair is getting soooo long.
And she''s getting so big.

I agree with the others about your 9months pix. They are all lovely.
I do have some favorites, but am in a bit of a time crunch to enumerate the pix myself.
I''ll get back to you later on that.

Sorry to hear about your daycare situation.
That is a real bummer. Hope you find your replacement soon.

Snlee
Sounds like Derek is eating like a champ there.
That''s great that you are enjoying this time when he is teeny tiny.
Every stages for me is enjoyable, even the ones where I have to wake up every hour to feed.
Those early days when they are so little is soooo short.
I love just gazing at her slumbering or BFing.
They look soooo cute when they are nursing, don''t you think?

Bobo
How is little B doing?
Gaining back some of his weight?

Puffy
Sounds like you need to get your tennis shoes on soon too!
9.gif

Wow about 4 more teeth coming in. He looks like already got a mouthful of teeth now.
J is doing great in terms of mobility.
Not too good on the eating front.
She sorta regressed with the bottle over the weekend.
She didn''t take any milk from the bottle when we took her to daycare Monday
8.gif

QT
Hmm....my mistake.
I don''t think the PumpInStyle comes with the manual pump.
The hospital gave her the manual attachment (that hook up to the commercial pump at the hospital) when her son was under the light for jaundice.
Can''t wait to see M in her halloween costume.
I still haven''t got J''s.
Will need to do it soon before all the selection is gone.

jackiejas
Glad you checked in.
Sounds like you are doing wonderfully with your little men.
Too funny about the pounds taking residence in the behind.
Not funny that they are there....but funny the way you put it :D

Jas12
Ok, the vulture in me is asking...where are those Thanksgiving pix you promised?
9.gif

What did you end up concocting for your cupcakes?

MrsS
Yay for the tooth finally coming in.
Now let''s wait for other one to make its presence.
Is Jake sleeping better after his tooth broke through?

msb
cool pix.
awesome water backdrop.
looks like Khalib is having a grand ole time
5.gif

And yay for K eating more solids.

Why can''t more real life moms be like everyone here???? I am on a steep learning curve with how to deal w/ some really competitive mommies. (Who may or may not be related to DH
3.gif
)

Anyhoo -- still waiting for real smiles...we''re 7 wks tomorrow & getting a lot of non-social grins...I cant wait!

Burk -- T is just lovely!! So sorry @ daycare.

And, well, this is hard to explain. Suffice it to say my husband was involved. I''m afraid to let him near the duct tape....

About to finally catch up on this thread (going to have to piece meal it together) but wanted to say...

There have been some funny pictures on this thread but I have to put this one in the top 5 for sure!!!

adorable baby pics as always ladies!

btw, i''m super interested in the belly girdles/wraps you guys were discussing recently. do they really work? 2 specific ones were mentioned - how have everyone''s experiences been?

OK, I have like, 10 pages to catch up on!

I thought I was going to be able to do it from the biz trip but this company hired practically everyone I''ve ever known from my industry so I actually spent a lot of time socializing. And here I thought I was going to be able to kick back in my hotel room, watch movies and catch up on PS.
20.gif

So bear with me...going to have to do this in chunks!

Tacori, not sure if I mentioned I love the shots of Tessa. She is so petite and darling. Yay for her walking!

Diver, you have my sympathy regarding your cat and her messes. My friend had a lab she loved but when the kid came, they had some problems. So the dog very happily went to my friend''s dad (who adored the dog) but she got a lot of flack from some dog lovers. Some people really don''t understand that you can love pets, but they do run a very distant second to your kids.

Ella, I know...when I got the stats I realized she was bigger than K who is older! And K always looked just right to me so I worry that I am going to have a giant on my hands in 4 months! Your girl IS freakishly strong. Must be fun to have two at the same time to see how they each develop in their own special way. Oh, btw glad you are not preggo!!!

Curly, have to say, you are one purdy post preggo lady. Your girls definitely did not take away your beauty for sure. And I can see the resemblence between Lucy and Lily...how cool is that? And it''s interesting to read about the transition. A lot of people say parenting doesn''t really start until you have two kids. Are you finding this to be true?

BTW, even though you are purdy and nice, I really hate you for shedding your preggo weight so quicky.
41.gif

snlee, that was an awesome birth story. You go girl. Glad everything is OK with Derek, who looked really cute in his tanning bed.
1.gif
My doc advised me to keep Amelia in because of the fever/hospital thing for 6 weeks. For the most part, I stayed indoors but definitely went for lots of walks which she loved!

Bobo, so glad to hear little B is doing better! Also glad to hear nothing was seriously wrong with you!

MrsS, love the pics of Jake. Your niece still looks freakishly similar to Amelia! Yay for the first tooth!

Burk, glad Tayva is doing better with the reflux. I think she is at the age where hopefully she is growing out of it? I peeked at her pics too...I love ALL of them...but especially those with her tongue sticking out.
30.gif
I can''t believe your daycare lady gave you such short notice!!!
29.gif

lili, is J walking yet? Running? Swimming? Doing cartwheels?
41.gif
2.gif
I travel a decent amount but not as much as I used to. And now that I know she''s great at routine and my mom is good at taking care of her, I LOVE running, er, I mean going away!!!
9.gif

Puffy, B is so cute. Are those pics all taken with your D80?

msb, glad she liked the clips. Cute new pics of your prince!

QT, cute yellow bumbo and even cuter little girl! She really has changed a lot since she was born...it''s amazing how that happens, isn''t it!

Jas12, I am excited for your trip...I can''t imagine how crazy it is to pack for Co...I am not looking forward to it when I take Amelia to Oz. He is so handsome in his bug and always so well dressed! My kid wears garage sale hand me downs...but it is OK since she just pukes all over everything anyway!

Janine, glad to hear from ya! Don''t worry about one bowel movement a day. That''s all Amelia had and sometimes she skipped a day. Doc said that was fine. She still only really goes about once a day, but she''s extremely regular. (Morning poo usually after her first bottle). And don''t be hard on yourself. This coming from a freak who tried for two months with NO milk. If it doesn''t happen, you both will be fine and you''ll realize there will be plenty of other things to worry about!!

But yeah...babies are working out the kinks of being out in the real world. It does get better and you will figure it out together. It''s really so deceiving though because for that first week or two, they are EASY. You can barely get them to wake for feedings!

tgal- hope you are enjoying your time away. I haven''t had a day off being a mommy since Jake was born and could really use a mommy break. I heading home in a couple of weeks for a few days and my mom is going to watch the kids so I can hang out with my girlfriends and I can''t wait. I just need a few hours without hearing "mommy" every 5 minutes ya know?

lili- Jake is sleeping soooooo much better since his tooth broke through
36.gif
thanks for asking..

Jackiejas- totally LOL at the pic of the boys with the duct tape...that is hilarious!!!!

Whew...I really have to be better now that I have a break from traveling/prepping for travel to write every day or else I have to keep writing these books! And who wants to read a book? Who has time?
1.gif

I''ve been busy because of travel and that new camera, which I love. I mentioned on the Nikon DSLR thread that I bought a refurb D40 from Cameta on ebay. Well it came in great condition with one tiny scratch on the upper part of the LCD (so high up it doesn''t interview with the view), had two hot pixels and 3800 shutter actuations. I did email Cameta letting them know I was happy, but was this usual with refurbs? They offered to refund my money or send me a new camera after they test it in house themselves to make sure there are no hot/dead pixels. I''m impressed with the service.

Amelia has been a doll. Every new stage is the best, right?
30.gif
Well, I am LOVING this stage. Except for the screaming in restaurants bit, but I guess no one is perfect.
3.gif
She still is not a big eater but today I fed her butternut squash and for the first time she was absolutely EAGER to have it. Hopefully this is a turning point. The little weirdo LOVES water though. I pour a little into her born free bottle lids and she drinks out of it like a cup. She''s pretty good at it too! She could clamp her lips shut for a serving of peas, but when that water comes out, her tongue is hanging out and mouth is wide open!

I also think a tooth is imminent.

Well, here are a couple of pics with the new camera. No flash, and it is so much faster at capturing her face. I am still figuring out how to use it manually (hence the not perfectly sharp focused pics) but this things craps all over my canon point and shoot, which I also love.

amelia looks adorable tgal, i''m loving your new camera!

T-gal, Ameila is growing so fast. She is just as cute, as she can be. Just a little doll. I want to smooch her little face.

Linda

I need a mommy break too! *sigh* T''s teething seems to be taking a toll. My mellow, sweet little girl has turned into a crying, angry monster. Temporary. I was going through her old photos...I can''t believe she was so little!

MrsS, yay for Jake''s tooth! I think baby teeth are the cutest.

Burk, how horrible and unprofessional of your daycare provider. Sounds like you have it figured out though. Her pics are awesome. She is so cute.

Msb, love the new pics. Glad eating is going better.

Jas, so cute! The day T could hold her own bottle was a VERY good day
2.gif

Puffy, I think 10 months is early. I was 17 months. But then again I am an idiot
9.gif
She was a week shy of 11 months when I considered what she was doing as walking and not just random steps. Now she walks about 50% of the time. Poor thing tried to walk in the long, wet, grass down hill...her skills are not that good. She fell after every 2 steps but the poor thing kept trying.

Bobo, I hate going to the doctor
14.gif
But I probably should...*sigh*

Lili, I know. They improve SO fast! It is amazing.

BTW for you and anyone else wanting to make their own giddy clips, walmart sells felt squares (like the size of a 8.5 x 11 paper) for 20 cents a sheet (in the kid''s craft section). Michael''s has them for 29 cents but they have better colors.
