Tacori~That's what I was thinking-he must not be that concerned. I'm not letting it bother me. Is Tessa walking more and more now?

snlee~YAY for sleep!! Cute pic.

mrss~Cute pic. Can't believe how he looks older, but still a lot like his younger pics, ya know?

Diver~Wish I could help. Hope some of the ladies finds work out so Mr. Jake can have the undies he wants!

Bobo~glad everything is alright. Are they giving you any medication to help with the dizziness?

QT~LOVE the bumbo! That pic is so cute. T was a big fan of the bumbo. She wanted to be up seeing what was going on. We started her in it around 3.5 months or so and she did great.

Curly~Sounds like you're doing great! It's got to be quite the adjustment for Miss Lily and sounds like she's doing as good as can be expected considering she's not the "only sheriff in town" any longer!
3.gif
Keep us posted and when you have time, post pics of both those beauties!!
30.gif

DH got home from Vegas last night. He was in Tayva withdrawal and practically pulled her out of my arms the second he got in the door! I sure wasn't feeling the love!
40.gif
He is just so taken with her, it is too darn cute. I have a vb match out of town tonight so he's so excited to have some daddy bonding time. I'm sad I won't get to see her until she's fast asleep tonight so I'm heading over to daycare here in a bit to visit.

Msb--i leave for my trip in a week--the house is upside down as i try to get everything in order (My SIL is going to stay here for the 3 weeks so i feel like i need to get so much done, packing, cleaning etc before we leave and this weekend is Thanksgiving so it''s going to be a VERY busy long weekend) and speaking of busy -glad you checked in. I thought of you this morning when i took Co to get his vaccination. i was NOT happy with my dr. (long story short i decided to only go with one vaccination--a combo shot--but she must have forgotten this or something and gave him something i didn''t give her permission for and i was livid. Vaccines stress me out.

Burk--so cute that your DH beelined for T (even if he did bypass you lol). Isn''t it amazing how we need breaks from the kids but then once we are away from them for a few hours (or days) we are besides ourselves to see them again. I haven''t been away from cohen for more than 4 hours yet but i know my DH is just itching to see his boy when he gets home from work. Very cute.

Curly--sounds like things are going great. And just 7lbs to loose--that''s awesome hot momma. You gained such a healthy amount of weight during your pregnancy and i think that plays a big part of it. I often think that if i had not gained over 40lbs i would be under my pre-preggo weight by now, but i am still holding onto a few lbs
15.gif
One nice thing about having kids so close together is that you get all that body trauma over with.
Glad Lucy is sleeping so well for you. Sometimes i think kids subconciously know that they need to ''cooperate'' for their mother''s sanity. A friend of mine said his 2 year old woke several times a night until the first night he brought home #2. He has been sleeping thru the night since--almost as if to say "fine, someone new is here i guess they can take their turn for a while"
2.gif

.....

Co had his 6 month check up
Weight: 19.5 lbs
Height: 27.5 inches
On target for all ''development indicators''

i''ll take some new pics this weekend over Thanksgiving
Here''s a somewhat recent one as a teaser ...in the parking lot of BRU on our way to toronto this weekend (not a great pic, but it''ll keep lili happy for a day or two)

Hey, you made me sound like such a picture vulture
41.gif

I'm not that bad, am I?

Co is so handsome
and he look so comfy in his seat.

Thanksgiving already?

Jas12- LOVE the pic of Co..19.5 lbs wow...i''''m guessing Jake is close if not a bit more than Co. I thought about weighing myself then adding Jake so see if I could get close since we don''t go to the dr. for a couple more weeks
3.gif
so you''ll be gone for 3 weeks? I have a hard time packing for 3 days, i can''t even imagine trying to pack up for 3 weeks...you are going to have such a great time though.

QT: M is sooooo cute!!! shes so squishy and i just want to hug her...am i weird for saying that? hahaha

curly: yay for checking in!!! u go girl with loosing all that weight!! i did something similar but with a traditional ''ghitra'' which is wat the men wear as a ''head dress'' in our traditional outfit...i just wrap it real tight around my tummy/waist area and i wore it as much as i could through out the first 40 days and i honestly think that is wat helped my skin not sag and things to just go back to where they need to be...

Jas12: eeeeek!!! i dont envy the chaos ur in rite now..i truly wish i can help out though..but at least when all this chaos is said and done, ull be cruising away enjoying the vast blue seas and soaking up the sun :)...sorry about the vaccine!! i hate hate hate vaccines!!! and little K is due for his 18 month vaccine soon..i SOOO am not over wat happened last time and i just cant go thru that again...i hope Co doesnt get a fever and is doing okay..love his picture...

Burk: I soooo know how that feels!! (being bypassed) i honestly lost count on the number of times i was TOTALLY overlooked when i go visit my ''rents or my in-laws....or even when hubby comes home...its like "HELLO!! IM STANDING RIGHT HERE!!" hahahahaha...

msb
Thanks.
I know, she''s growing so fast.
She looked like a toddler, don''t ya think?

You are such a good friend to get those clips for your friend''s daughter.
Aren''t they just the cutest? I didn''t expect them to be so tiny.

QT
Haha, same here -- will blame it on old age for my backaches and headaches later on.
Hey, Meena sounds alot like J when she was younger.
She doesn''t like to be on her back or be held sideway.
I''ve always held her upright over my shoulder since she was a week old.
Told DH that J probably won''t even recognize my face since all she see was my shoulder and back :)
And when she''s on her back, she''d be straining to sit up.

Meena looked content in her bumbo.
And she is a chunky monkey
9.gif
Too cute.

Tacori
You''d probably have a heart attack when you see our place.
Power cords dangling everywhere, no gates, exposed flower pots
32.gif
, etc
Just about the only childproofing we have are the covers for the outlet.
Will definitely need to clean up the place this weekend.

Hehe, isn''t the hospital gown the cutest and funniest thing?
Couldn''t resist taking a picture of it.

Ha, don''t hate me just yet.
I''m just skinny everywhere except the tummy
41.gif

Jas12
She is way too active.
Even when she''s under the weather, she''s still crawling around and climbing
(yes, climbing. They have this pyramid blocks at the daycare that she just love to climb up and she made it to the top too)
Sometimes I wish she isn''t as mobile, but then again, it is so cute when she crawls toward us when we call to her
30.gif

Wow, Co is a big boy.
Must be all those solids that he''s been chomping down huh?
Jadie is the opposite with food -- eating and sleeping is the last thing she''ll do. Play comes first.

How exciting, your trip is coming up so soon.
Good luck packing

MrsS
Awwwee...look at Jake with his beanie
5.gif

He''s always got the same smile when you take his monthly picture.
Mr Bear is shrinking next to him each month.

Hope you find a pedi you love.

Jas12, cute picture of Co! He's adorable!

curly, glad to see an update from you! Sounds like your family of four is adjusting well. I'm sorry to hear you have the baby blues and I hope it gets better soon. Great job on the weight loss! I gained 28 lbs during my pregnancy and now at 13 days postpartum, I have 11 lbs to go. Not as great as you
3.gif
but I'm not complaining. I figure that breastfeeding will help me lose the remaining weight. I hope!

Curly, I am so glad Lucy is an easy going baby! I think second kids have to be that way for survival (their''s and your''s). Poor Lily. She will adjust. I cannot believe you only have 7 lbs to go! I hate you!
2.gif
I still have 9 lbs 11 months out.
20.gif
But then again I don''t think I have EVER been as tiny as you are. Get lots of rest!

Burk, she took 14 steps today. She is also trying it more and more. So I think she is progressing like she should be. Sometimes DH wakes T up if he hasn''t seen her all day b/c he misses her so much
38.gif
I yell at him but what can I do. It is sweet. I''ll hear her giggling in the monitor. I DO need him to have more quality AWAKE time with her. I feel so burnt out this week. I want some ME TIME!

Jas12, Co looks so handsome in his stroller. Sounds like he is doing great.

Lili, maybe J won''t be as curious as T is. Tessa will pick up any little thing she can find and put it in her mouth. We have a no shoe policy in our family room b/c I got sick of running over every few minutes to see what she put in her mouth. She would totally eat the dirt and pull on EVERY cord if we gave her a chance. Trouble maker she is!
2.gif
Sometimes I feel like I will never be thin again.
20.gif

snlee, BFing moms (they say) take LONGER to lost the weight but overall will lose MORE weight so don''t worry. Sounds like you are doing great. Geez...now I am embarrassed by how much I gained!
23.gif

Lili-- i was just teasin . You know we all luv posting pics of our little ones.
Do the staff at the daycare think J is amazing (be honest)? Funny that she won''t even sit still to eat.

MrsS. i am curious to see how big Jake is. I bet they are very close in size and i forgot to mention that your ''stats'' on what is he up too are almost identical to Co''s.

I keep packing and repacking. We will be overseas for 17 days but also at my sister''s the day before and after the trip (since there is no international airport around here) so we''ll be away for almost 3 weeks
6.gif
It''s funny that even his bowel movements have been considered --before Cohen started solids he was only have about 1 BM a week and now it is at least once a day. I wish i could have held off on the solids like originally planned so a) less poopy diapers to change while away and b) not have to worry about packing food and all the extra laundry that comes with messy eating. Oh well, i thought the food would help with sleep and there is no turning back now.

I''ve decided to bring my bugaboo on the trip. I am going to bring the base with my car seat attached onto the plane and pack the seat of the bugaboo in my suitcase (it collapses flat) plus a carrier and my moby wrap. I *hope* iam covered in terms of transport and i *hope* he sleeps in all these devices!!!!

ok, so jake''s unoffical weight is 20 lbs...so Jas, I bet he an Co are about the same size
1.gif

Bobo
Glad to hear it is nothing major.
Did they tell you what you can do to alleviate the dizziness?

And you should get those clips and wear them yourself.
I think you can pull it off.
Sometimes I clipped J''s clip on myself when it came lose and she refused to let me put it back on her.
I have to admit, it does look kinda cute even on me
5.gif

curly glad to hear that everything is going great! sounds like you have a great sleeper already!

tacori YAY for more steps!!! B is a very curious boy too. anything he finds he will try to put in his mouth, he even tries to pick up little pieces of lint.

jas12 good luck with the packing!!! almost 3 weeks away from home....WOW!!! i''m sorry, but where are you guys off to? Co looks so comfy in the bugaboo. it''s nice that you are bringing the bugaboo with you.

mrss jake is so handsome!!!

all this talk about losing weight, i have lost all the weight i out on, but some parts just don''t go back to normal!!! my pre-preggo jeans kinda fit, but not really. i feel so bad donating all my old jeans cause they were so $$$ and i don''t really want to spend too much buying all new jeans. some of the jeans fit, but not all. i actually lost all the weight within 6 weeks. i went to my 6 week check and i was down to my regular weight.

TGal
Wow, another biz trip?
How often do you travel for your work?
Does it get easier leaving A w/ each trip?

Yay for your new toy.
Which one have you narrowed it to?
I was thinking about getting one of those SLR camera, but just the thought of having to lug around one more thing turned me off.
My digital camera seems to take good enough picture.

RE: April BB stats
I''m impressed with A''s speech. It must melt your heart when she calls "uhmMa".

Here''s J:
Rollover: can roll both ways, but she seems to like rolling to her tummy. first thing she does when she wakes up is roll to her tummy and get on all four.
Situps: tries to do the situp when we put her down on her back :D (it''s kinda funny because she''ll have her legs and head lifted off the bed like when you do the v)
Standing: she''s always got strong leg muscles. she would hold onto our fingers and pull to a standing position when she was 4 mnths.
HandEye Coordination: reach for and pass tiny objects like her giddy giddy clip between her hands (and then into her mouth).
Eating: Definitely not a fan of eating. It gets in the way of her play time. Other than food, everything else goes into her mouth.
Teeth: two lower one (and I think her upper ones are coming in too)
"Talking": Lots of gibberish, but no real words. she does have distinguishable mumble jumble though. She has the "i''m bored", "i''m pissed", and "i''m just talking to myself" talk. The day she got her shot, she was grumble the whole time we walked down the hallway, until the nurse who gave her the shot talked and apologized to her.
Raspberries: Does it most when she''s eating
38.gif

snlee
Look at how tiny D is next to his first teddy.
I love the expression on his face
30.gif
30.gif

We didn''t take J out (aside from her dr visit and my lactation visit) until she''s a month.
DH didn''t want her to be exposed to the element (or germs) too much.

QT
It''s definitely not too late to start the monthly bear picture.
I wished I was better about it, but I was never on the day like MrsS.

puffy
I can just picture B laughing off at your DH when he ask for a kiss.
Too cute
5.gif

Oh, forgot to answer you before, J is doing a bit better at daycare.
She is taking some milk out of the bottle. The caretaker said that it took her 90 minutes to feed her.
She didn''t take much, just an ounce or 2....but it''s a start.

Diver
The boy knows what he wants huh?
Hope you win the bid.

Thanks msb, little B is doing ok, we''re just waiting on his 2nd echocardiogram result which we will know next week.

curly, I have one of the girdle thing you''re talking about. My cousin swear by it but I just can''t stand it having it on me for 24 hours a day for 40 days...well actually she said to wear it for the first 3 months. I guess I''m the lazy kind...I figure I''ll just save up and get a lipo
9.gif

Burk, he said I can take the over the counter dizziness medication but that only help temporary.

Jas12, wow...Co is a big boy (well...compare to little B) he look so comfy.

lili, Dr. said I can take over the counter medication to help with my dizziness but of course that is only temporary. I thought about using the clip on me but since I already dress pretty sloppy to work (T-shrit & Jeans) I think the HR dept will have a problem with a 30 years old mom with a baby hair clip on her head.

Weight loss wise, I still have about 7 lb to go but like all the other ladies said, pre-preggo clothes don''t fit the same as before. Yet I don''t want to spend $ on buying new ones because I''m still hoping I will fit into them one day so I am still in my maternity clothes
4.gif

MrsS and Jas12
Sounds like Jake and Co about the same size :)
It would be so cute to have the two boys side by side.

I like to have a pic of Amelia and Jade side by side too.
I may just have to hang out at BRU for a couple of days and see if I can run into TGal and Amelia eh?

Curly
Sounds like Lucy is adjusting very well to the outside world.
Sorry to hear that Lily is not handling it too well....hope it will pass soon.

And wow for having only 7 lbs left to go.
Interesting about the Taut band.
You got to let us know if it work.

Jas12
Isn''t it amazing how much stuff you need to pack for such a little person?
And you got one advantage over moms who bottle feed -- no formulas and bottles to pack.

Hehe, I don''t think you could have hold off introducing solids to Co since he was showing so much interesting in food already :)

Wow, I''m surprised that Co had 1 BM a week before solid.
I was freaking out when J doesn''t have a BM after 2 days.
Before solids, she''ll have at least a day.
I guess even her bowel is active :P

To be honest, I don''t know if the people at daycare is amazed by J.
They''ve seen so many infants you know and I''m sure they''ve seen some really advanced kids.
In fact, there is one little boy in there that started walking at 8 months.
The mom told us that he was able to lift his head when he was born!
They did say that J is amazingly strong -- especially her deathly grip and her wiggleness during diaper change
9.gif

Well one set of his undies is at 17.50 and the other at 12.00!! Geez...for something he MIGHT wear? One of my friends told me to buy white undies and use iron transfer paper & print Curious George pics off hte internet & make my own. So I bought white briefs today & Jake picked out a bunch of pics I found online. I''ll get the paper later today & print it off & iron them on. It''ll do in a pinch.

But no one has the CG undies anywhere. They sold out & are discontinued!! ARRRGH!

Curly! You are so funny. I don''t feel like a hot mom...I feel like a flabb-o mom. I am still carting around an extra 15lbs and I hate them on me. I feel quite padded. Like a rounder version of myself. Its weird. I''m glad you are feeling better & getting out there!

Snlee; I had both my kids out early. We took them everywhere that was sort of open....supermarket, walks outside, etc. I avoided heavily crowded places for a month or so. Its harder with the 2nd one because the older ones are walking petrie dishes to begin with.

Speaking of, I am sick. I went to the doc cuz I''m flying at 5am Monday morning, & my ears & throat HURT. No strep, (they swabbed for it) no ear infection, but raw red throat & I have to teach spinning tonight, saturday & yoga on sunday. Ugh...my job SUCKS when you are sick. But at least I don''t have an ear infection (I get those from time to time) and not know until after I''ve gotten on a plane & have to take off & land. I jacked up my left ear like that a few years back.

Ok...so on monday....I''M FLYING WITH 2 KIDS!

Egads!

Advice? Help? I will have Steve with me, but we''ll have 2 carseats, suitcases (I am going to pack uber light)and I am thinking of bringing my single BOB and gate checking it since we rented a large car when we arrive & we are staying with my SIL....which means lots of walks & I HATE my MacLaren. D won''t sit in it. She seems to dislike it a lot.

My evil son won''t nap. He hasn''t napped in MONTHS. If I don''t put him in his room for an hour or two he gets wild and unruly at night, but lately he''s been REALLY out of control up there, hollering & throwing stuff around. He''s having fun, but he''s WILD.

Ok...I''m gonna snack on some ice cream. My throat REALLY hurts.

MrsS
Thanks. I probably wouldn''t have gotten a Bumbo if SIL didn''t buy us one. Not that I don''t want one; just because we try not to buy a lot products that are not necessities.

snlee
You''ll be fine taking D out since you are staying away from crowded places and touchy people. Oh that just reminded me of DH''s cousin. She came over to visit M (when she was 1 month, having really bad baby acne and heat rash), and asked me what''s all the red bumps on M''s face. So I told her, then she proceeded to kiss M all over the face.
6.gif
I was shocked, but couldn''t say anything.

Bobo
Did the dizziness just happen randomly? or is it like when you get up too fast or something like that?

Curly
Lucy is doing really well; her weight is up already. Sounds like Lily is doing pretty well adjusting to the new baby.

Yay for only 7lbs to go. I was down 20lbs when I got home from hospital. Then the last 10lbs came off a lot slower. 6 weeks pp, I was up 4lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. I didn''t weigh myself again until 8 weeks pp, and I was down 2lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. I was so happy, but the hips is taking longer to return to normal. hehe. Hopefully you''ll bounce back faster than me.

Burk
It''s sweet that Mr. Burk missed T and wants time with her.

Jas12
Co looks adorable. Wow you are going to have one busy week. At least after that, you''ll be relaxing on vacation. Have fun.

msb
hehe. She IS squishy. DH always makes fun of her big cheeks and double chin; he says she look like an old lady. Then I tell him she got the big cheeks and double chin from him.
9.gif

lili
I wish M is like J; J has awesome motor skills. We''ll just have to wait and see.

Yeah I think I''ll start the teddy bear pic at 3 months. The sad thing is we don''t have a big teddy bear. We didn''t buy any stuffed animals for her. Maybe I''ll put her next to my Hello Kitty plush. hehe.

Did you try Ebay? There are some curious george undies on there(NIB)
I have seen pics diver girl...Flabbo mom? Yeah , right! You look hot!
Good luck on your trip. This brings back distant memories for me. We always flew Jetblue, or had a portable dvd player.
I had a Mclaren. It lasted perfectly with my daughter, but my son Sam was on a mission to destroy it. And he succeeded!
I am really sorry you''re sick. Don''t forget to take a decongestant before you fly to help your ears.

Qtiekiki, the dizziness will hit me at anytime & anywhere. The whole room will feel like it''s spinning or I''ll feel like I''m on a very rocky boat.

Bobo
My officemate and a wife of another coworker have the same symptoms.
They too couldn't find out what could be causing it.
I hope yours is not too bad.
My officemate's dizzy spell is so severe that when it attacks, she doesn't even remember her husband's number to call.

QT
Funny you should mention about your Hello Kitty plushie.
I have been meaning to ask if that collection of yours would be Meena's someday?

Oh, that's awesome about your weight loss PP.
Tacori is really going to hate you now, isn't that right Tacori?
9.gif

Bobo-- I know you said your problem was inner ear--are they 100% sure of this? Just wondering if you should request to have your heart checked by a cardiologist? My dad was having severe vertigo (dizzy) spells. On two occasions he actually blacked out, collapsed and went into a terrible sweat. It happened once while grocery shopping and once at work-- with many less severe dizzy spells in between. Our local hospital told him it was most likely an inner ear issue (due to age) and another specialist thought it was mariners disease and there was not much he could do for either condition and would have to cope with it. Well, he recently took a job out of town and as luck would have it another severe spell hit. Because he was away from family (couldn''t just call my mom for help) he called 911 and the nearest hospital just happened to specialized in heart issues (they thought he was having a heart attack). Within a 1/2 hour of arriving at the ER he was admitted to get a stent placed in an artery b/c he had a blockage. He hasn''t had the dizziness since. i am not telling you all this to scare you but just as another avenue to explore if you don''t feel content with the answers you were given. Lastly, when we didn''t know what was going on with my dad i did a lot of research and ppl with diets heavy in aspartame can also experience severe dizziness. Just some possibilities....I hated to see my dad suffer like that b/c it really decreases your quality of life so i hope u find out what it is.

Lili--re: BM. Ya, i made an appnt to find out why Cohen didn''t have many poopy diapers. I thought he was blocked up but i was assured that it is very common for BF babies.Because it is a nearly perfect food it is nearly perfectly utilized and digested by the body so there is often very little waste produced. I think the fact that co was ''using up'' all his milk is maybe another sign that he was ready for solids.

Diver--uggh, sucky that you are sick and have to fly. I hope you get better before then!
I hope the iron-ons help the undie situation. That totally cracks me up. How the heck do kids gets such larger than life personalities at such a young age? It''s very cute even if it does drive us moms batty! Let us know how that all pans out. Maybe a pic of your creations? hehe

Tacori--14 steps! Tessa has got the hang of it i think!
i think you are right about the BF and weight loss. I do think it shrinks the uterus way faster (my belly was nearly flat--albeit *very soft* flat 2 weeks post-birth compared to a few non-BF friends who claimed it took almost the full 6 weeks). I could literally feel it painfully contracting each time i nursed and i remember seeing a difference every morning. However, i think nursing moms retain the padding a lot longer --a little extra reserve or something. Don''t be embarrassed by how much you gained, i was right behind you!

Poor Co had a rougt post-needle night. We were up all night long (i hit a wall at 4am after getting up at 12, 1, 2:30 and then 4) charlie took over and rubbed his back for 40 mins before we were all up again at 6:30.
8.gif

He''s napping now so i should go lay down for 15 mins....

I hate all of you! Just kidding...I am just insanely jealous. This is the first time in my life fat has stuck to me. I guess my inner fat girl has come out
3.gif

Jas12, DH and I were watching and playing with T last night. He commented how in the last two days alone her walking has improved so much. Sure, she still looks a little drunk but she can get places. It''s such a cute, wobbly, walk. Plus she is SO short! It''s funny. At least she doesn''t have a long way to fall when she does. We always say "go, go, go!" so now that is what she says when she walks.

I am so sorry Co is not sleeping better. I painfully remember those days. I guess some people just aren''t good sleepers. Have you tried CIO (I can''t remember). He is big enough to physically be able to sleep through the night. It is more emotional/habit. Do you wait 15 mins before going to him?

Did you finish packing? You are going to have so much fun!

Tacori--i was looking at a little boy thru the window of my gym''s nursery yesterday. He looked about 1 yr and he was SO tiny and yet was walking-- i picture Tessa like that. A little petite thing wobbling around is just adorable. It is amazing what a tiny body learns to do so quickly. i used to be proud when my daycare babies started to walk so i can only imagine how proud you and DH feel. Even though we know our kids will reach these milestones but it is so cool when they do!
I''ve tried the 15min wait many times. He gets hysterical and then it takes up to an hour to get him settled again

so i know i am enabling him by nursing (i can now nurse him for 30-60 sec and he''ll go right back to sleep so the full weaning process has slowly begun) It''s really just a vicious cycle. I could probably break it by CIO but a) we are all so tired that i keep saying "maybe tomorrow" and b) i just can''t bring myself to do the CIO. The strange thing is he can put himself down for naps and at bedtime with no nursing or help from me. It is just the middle of the night he really needs the comfort or something. I have a great new book that has a very explicit plan for gentle nighttime weaning and middle of the night self soothing so i am on to that now with fingers crossed. I am really trying to put my own needs aside and remind myself that he is a baby and as much as i need sleep he might just need me in the night.

Jas12~Yea, I got bypassed, but I totally understand. I miss her when I''m away from her too. It''s very sweet that these daddies are so taken with their little ones! Co weighs as much as Tayva!! She''s 30 inches long, however. No wonder the doc was a big concerned.

Sounds like you''re going to have a crazy weekend. So weird that it''s Thanksgiving since it isn''t for over a month here in the states. Oh, and how could I forget to comment on Co''s cuteness in the pic?

msb~Glad I''m not the only one being bypassed for DH to get to the kid!

Tacori~14 steps!! That''s awesome. Before you know it she''ll be walking everywhere! I would totally yell at DH if he woke T up! I honestly don''t think men get it. Quality time. What is that? ha. My DH went golfing yesterday afternoon (after he''d been gone for days and hadn''t seen T instead of going to get her spending time with her). I''m sorry you feel burnt out. You deserve ME time! Could you have DH watch her some time this weekend so you could go do your thing and have some time for you?

Bobo~sorry there isn''t any medication that has more long-term affects. Hopefully you''re able to find something that could help when you do need it, though. I''m so glad it''s nothing serious.

Diver~Sorry you''re sick. It''s so yucky being sick, with kiddos and then add flying. No fun!

QT~Do the teddy bear pics. That is such a great idea. I wish I had.

Seriously, all this talk about all you skinny ladies who only gained 20 whatever pounds during your pregnancy...makes me sick!

Tacori, I gained 45!! Don''t feel embarrassed!! I was huge. I lost most in the first week because I retained a lot of water, but I think I had gained 25 by 30 weeks!

Luckily I lost it all and my body is back to normal. I was worried for a while that I''d be flabby abby forever.

Diver, you have my total, undiluted, wholehearted and complete sympathy on your boy''s no-nap policy!!!!

Tacori, no need to hate me, for sure.

I haven''t even thought about losing baby weight, of which there is plenty! A fair few lbs have gone just from BFing and endless walks with the stroller in the vain hope it will make Amelia sleep, but there are plenty spare lbs still clinging on.

haha, jas this is exactly what jake does. He actually will sometimes wake up, i try to nurse him so we can all go back to sleep quickly and he won''t even nurse, just crys and skirms until I can settle him down. He also goes to sleep for naps and at the initial bedtime with no problem whatsoever. I just lay him in his crib and he looks around for a little bit and falls asleep. then he''s up 2-3 times a night after that. I haven''t tried CIO yet b/c 1) I just don''t have the heart and 2) when I do let him cry he goes into hysterics too 3) i don''t want him waking up my hubby who is in training for a new job and has long work days. I think we are going to have to do it on a weekend though. we all need to be sleeping better at this point.

tacori- just wanted to say yay for tessa walking. it is just the best feeling when they can walk to you.
