Hunter is 10 mo and if he goes to touch something he shouldn''t I say, "Not for hunter!" Or just point my finger and say "Uh uh!" using the tone. He stops right away.Date: 12/17/2009 2:01:33 PM

Mandarine, great card!
Miracles, you need to post a pic of the bag on the Not Rational thread!
Mara, I can say without a doubt that Amelia got the ''tone'' waaay before age 1.
LOL DD.... I say the same thing to Portia right now.... ''Not for Portias'' and she totally knows what I am saying...she just slinks away looking sullen. I hope the same thing works for the kid.Date: 12/17/2009 6:35:59 PM

I LOVE the scootababy! Exactly what I am looking for! Do you find it easy to put on and off? One reason I want another carier is that Hunter doesn''t like being so constrained in the ergo anymore, but he really liked being carried and frankly, he is heavyDate: 12/18/2009 8:28:14 AM

Pandora - glad you like your new purchase.
DD - You can use a pouch sling like RPS has for 1 yr olds, but a ring sling''s going to be more adjustable. There are lots of brands that make them - I''ve heard good things about Sakura Bloom ($$$$) and Maya Wraps... and I know there are other good ones as well, I''m just blocking. The Scootababy is my favorite carrier for hip carries, but it''s not a sling. There are ring slings posted quite regularly on Craigslist here. If you go that route, you want to look for something that looks more like a flat piece of fabric and not like a shoulder bag, if that makes sense.

For the co-sleeping moms (Pandora and Blen I know if, and any others that want to chime in!)... Kyle has a bad runny nose, and wasn't feeling good last night, so I put him in bed with us. He hasn't slept with us in a while, and boy was he a restless sleeper! At one point around 1am DH found him near our knees under the blankets, sleep crawling. He had his butt in my face for a while, bonked his head on the head board some, and rolled all over the place. DH took him back to his crib at 3am so we could get some sleep. Do your babies do this in your bed, or do I just have a sleep walker in training?
