China, I felt bad yesterday cause I WAS clipping Wes's nails and I drew some blood
39.gif
I told him I was sorry, but next time dont squirm around.

Oh guess what , some ladies are throwing us another baby shower tomorrow
36.gif
I already stocked my Target registryt though and someone got me the manual breastpump! So now hubby can try feeding Wes or we can go out on the date night that hubby is dying for
4.gif

eta: oh and I wanted to say Congrats too to China for your DH's win!!

and So Cal, cute pic of little E! good thing you got to go to DLand last week and not this week when it's all rainy!

Ebree- How cute! I want to try the Gymboree thing so I can try and meet some moms, but haven't made it yet. Part of the problem is I work, so it's harder to fit in.

Here's the pic I was talking about- O's first swing and first day at the park (with the nanny). I already posted it on FB, but here you go:

Oops, really small. Well I will find a cute pic and post it this weekend.

These confessions are great!

So cal-E is so gorgeous! What color are his eyes?

China-Yeah, small
27.gif
but he''s really cute and looks happy!

So Baby Pic Friday, eh? I''m all for that! I love pics and some of you don''t post pics enough (coughMGcough) (coughMelacough) (supercoughDreamersupercough)

Here''s my contribution! She''s wearing an outfit meant for the summer but it won''t fit her then and I''ve been dying to put it on her so there you go...

SophiaDSCN4377.JPG

Here's my Friday pic of Wesley. As I said it's been raining here allllll week. And I guess it's unusual cause we are in So Cal. Anyways, after being stuck in the house for 4 days I decided we needed to get outside. So I put the rain cover on Wes's stroller and we went for a short walk! It looks like the plastic is smothering him, but I promise it's not!

Fiery love miss Sophia! She is like one of those ladies that always wakes up perfect, beautiful and ready for anything

Sunkist-Wes is so adorable!!

Thanks!

I think Fridays are going to be my most favorite days now

I like the confessions!

Okay, here is mine. Um, Calvin watched the finale of Jersey Shore with me this afternoon. Of course, inherent in that confession is the fact that I watch Jersey Shore...I made Calvin solemnly swear he''d never go to that ''Jersey Shore.''

Love it! If it makes you feel better, my DH has Lex doing the *fist pump*. I tell him to stop, but he just keeps grabbing Lex''s hand and pumping...hehhee....

Lex listens to Howard Stern w/ us in the morning..I KNOW that''s gotta stop, but we love Howard...we''ll have to give it up soon though, don''t want Lex''s first sentence to be able ****

.

Love the new pics! So cute!

Love the pictures ladies. Keep them coming!

Fiery - His eyes are actually really blue still. I''m not sure how long that will last. I have brown eyes, and DH has green. The only person in my family who has blue eyes is my mom. I''m kind of thinking E''s eyes will end up green. At least that''s what I''m hoping. They are so pretty right now, though.

Sunkist - WTF is up with the rain here?! It is driving me crazy. So Cal streets were not built for rain, and most So Cal drivers have no clue how to deal with it.

Lizzard - That IS a big boy, but super cute! E is only about 15 lbs, and he is 16 weeks, and I think he is in the 75 percentile. He has his 4 month appointment on Monday, so we''ll find out for sure then.

SUCH.CUTE.PICS!!!!!

I agree, need more of Romy and Hunter. And the girls! Where are all of the baby girl pics? Sophia is going to have her pic of men around here!

So WHAT are you all feeding your big boys????? Lizzard, O wasn''t even 12 pounds at 4 months (16 weeks!!!!!!!). Big sigh. I promise I eat a ton and so does he.

Such cute yummy cheeks he''s got there.

And so many cute little boys on here for her to choose.

Omg! I go away for one day and you ladies post up a storm!

Love the idea of confessing and pictures!

Everyones babies are sooooo adorable! Sophia melts my heart everytime I see her!

Confession #1: E went an entire week last week without a bath! I''m actually ashamed to say it!
Confession #2: We also don''t wash the swaddle that often (maybe once a week if I remember)
Confession #3: Evan loves to watch his Daddy play violent video games (Call of Duty mainly)
Confession #4: I love when Evan cries....I will laugh and take pictures sometimes instead of comforting him....he makes the funniest faces!

Some new pictures (I hope we can post more than one) I''m a picture freak!!

OMG Lizzard I am in love with your little boys cheeks!!! Seriously!!!
30.gif

SoCal, I know, no one can drive in the rain here. It's seriously absurd :P The 241 toll road was flooded yesterday, hubby told me! A new freeway and they didn't build it to withstand flooding??

Thanks Fiery

and another..
Tao, I love his bed-head look

I wish we could all have a PS playgroup! Of course on the nap schedule that we're doing today, we'd never make it to a play date!

We're now on the nap#3 for the afternoon after only being awake for 45 minutes at a time!!
6.gif
I guess his body just still can't stay awake for long periods.

Sunkist: That was right after his shower (his first shower in a week..shhh)..his hair is always insane after a shower.

Wanted to ask----I''m sure I will google it also..

How much work is it to make your own baby food? I was thinking about trying it but with going back to work I''m not sure I''ll be able to keep up...

I''m thinking it can''t be that hard... Just steam veggies and puree them up! Of course I always think small things like that will take no time, but then it takes forever
3.gif

I was thinking that also...and I''m sure (for veggies) it would be something we were also having for dinner..so it wouldn''t be anything special for most veggies.

And then food like bananas, avocados, you can just mash those right there.

Tao I did some research today and it seems all you really need is a steam basket, a food grinder (or blender) and voila!. People recommend making big batches and freezing them in ice cubes!. There is a good site with recipes, I''ll post it tomorrow...

Love all the pictures everyone and I love the confessions!!! hahahaha

I used to have "designated" pacifiers...now I give them whatever is handy (they don''t really like paci''s anyway...so why even bother cleaning them!).

frequency of baths The only reason I bathe my boys every other day is because their hair gets greasy! How does baby hair get greasy!!??

liking when they cry Totally!!

For some reason I can''t post pictures today
15.gif
15.gif
I did post a few today on FB...

Boys are in bed and I''m having the rum drink I''ve been dreaming about all week. YUMMMM YUMMMMM!!!

OK, here is my contribution to BPF:

Please note: We are not the kind of people who would ever purchase this outfit un-ironically for our child. But this older women with whom DH studied abroad (like, she was 40 and going back to college and studying in Paris) mailed it to us, and so obviously we had to dress Claire in it and take a picture. And she really was darn cute in it.

balletclairejan10.jpg

the site for baby food recipes is: wholesomebabyfood.com

Oh, and the confessions got me thinking . . . Claire has a sacral dimple, basically a hole/indentation at the top of her butt. We were like, what on earth is that? Then we found out DH''s new niece has it. Ah ha! DH''s side of the family is to blame! I suppose I should ask MIL what she knows about it, but then I''ll get TMI about who, if anyone, has one. Does anyone else''s baby have one? I hope Claire''s will disappear with age; otherwise, she will always have to take care to keep it clean. I imagine potty training is hard enough without a little crevice to worry about.

Tao - making babyfood is SO easy, honestly, for me its even easier than going to the store and then schlepping the jars home. You literally just steam whatever you have around and then freeze. SO EASY. I really like these little cubes for freezing www.babycubes.com Have fun with it!!! :) The colour of freshly made food is so much more appealing to me than the store bought stuff, IMO.

Here he is!!!! Lickle Pookie!

pookie.jpg

China - To quote my sister, "Jersey Shore is life changing television." The small one, aka Snookie, is a scary little human. They are all scary humans. On an unrelated note, I noticed you said O has dry skin...Calvin had some issues with that too. We use the Mustela for eczema skin and it works GREAT.

Lizzard - Welcome! And your little guy is probably mesmerized by the orangeness of Snickers. Ha.

CDT - My sister makes Calvin fist pump on a regular basis.

Ebree - I'm totally going to do the baby gym and music classes too, but I'm going to wait until Calvin is 6 months. I'm super excited about it!

Another confession - I think Calvin is the absolute cutest when he makes his little pouty face. We keep trying to get a good picture of it, and this is our best so far. Also my contribution to baby pic Friday!

eta - LOVE all the new pics! Nice to see Romy!!

Jersey Shore scares me...I''m afraid to watch. That little one freaks me out.

I''m still LAUGHING out loud at this! HAHAHAHAHAH

"Cradle Crap" made me howl too. Bah haha.

OMG everyone''s babies are SO cUTE! and I''m not just saying it to be nice - they really are SO ATTRACTIVE!
Pat on the back everyone....pat on the back. You made some goodies
25.gif

PG, yes! Wes has one of those. I didn''t know it had a name. Ya, I wouldn''t want to hear stories from your MIL, haha!

LL, what an adorable pout!

And Mela, Romy looks so angelic
