Recycling project in rose gold

Hi everyone,
I posted a while back about two projects I was thinking over. Apologies for starting another thread, but the old ones seem to be closed now. I asked for suggestions for re-setting an oval pendant, then decided to leave it as it was (me? difficult? sorry!). I also asked for thoughts on a cushion set in rose gold for a rhr.

I then had to spend major money on house repairs, which put an end to my plans for a cushion for the foreseeable future.

Sooo, my plan now is to have my oval re set in a ring - kill two birds! David at DBL is going to set it in a rose gold setting with white diamonds on the band.


Just thought I'd give an update to everyone who helped me when I was dithering over the original project - thank you.

Will post pics as soon as I have this (could take a few weeks though!).

ETA: I don't have any specs on the oval at the moment ( it isn't as yellow irl as it looks in this pic.) It was an impulse buy at a maul store in the UK - you get to know the carat weight and that's usually about it! (1.10)

Here''s a pic from David at DBL (slight change of plan on the setting, love the sleek look of this). So now I think I need a pink diamond band! The stone looks so much prettier and I can''t wait to see it in real life. It is being shipped today!

Thank you! I''m hoping to have this by the end of the week, so I''ll get some photos at the weekend. I''m delighted with the look of it in the picture, can''t wait to try it on! DH (bless him!) suggested stacking with two very narrow pink diamond bands (above and below), so I''ll look into that. Not sure if my finger is long enough though!

Thank you! DBL were, as always, a joy to work with. David was very quick in resetting and shipping the stone, it was on my finger so fast I was amazed. It is beautifully done and now I''m craving one of their pink diamond bands to go with it. I think it looks so much better as a ring, seems to be lively and more sparkly than it was before. I love it!
