Resetting “Ashlee” my antique cut cornered step cut..Opinions please

Ashlee is just gorgeous. She will look amazing in her new setting and be beautiful stacked. I like your old setting but I can totally emphasise with feeling that something is really a bit too much. Looking forward to seeing the result on this one!

Yep I hear you! I feel the same with my oval. Hopefully my new solitaire will come in the next couple weeks, I have already bought 3 new stackers in anticipation

My plastic mold is coming in less than fifteen minutes! I’m tracking him on my phone..haha...I’m a bit worried because I went back and forth a few times trying to communicate how I want the shoulders with the baguettes to look. I miss Ashlee and want it to be done but I have to make sure I’ll be happy with it..He‘s saint so I know I shouldn’t be worried...but I’m feeling a little anxious..

Excited to see it; try not to be anxious that's what the molds are for! You can change it if you aren't happy

It’s here! The only change will be to ask him to make the baguettes a little longer and bigger. I also want it a hair higher so the basket clears the top of the diamonds on the band..I’m not sure engraving will do much so will probably leave that off.

Thank you @lulu_ma! I’m excited. He knocked it out of the park. I was worried if I was able to communicate what I wanted but he got it. I just asked him to raise the basket a hair to keep the diamonds from rubbing too much. I also asked him for longer baguettes and as wide as the shoulders with little metal showing....I told him to leave off the engraving because it wouldn’t add much..

oh @MamaBee this is awesome! Can't wait to see it. FWIW I agree with you on the engraving. I've seen so many of DKJ's wonderful engraved pieces on PS, but love in this instance that it will be so sleek with the gypsy set baguettes!!

Thank you @mjea! It‘s perfect to stack with my bands. The only issue will be if I can wear them with her. She’s an I with medium blue fluoro...She appears whiter than other Is I’ve had..but one of the bands are all Fs..The other ones seems to be Fs too but are ungraded. If it’s a little off that’s okay..but if it’s really off I‘ll have to buy another band..haha

Wow! That’s beautiful! Hmmmmm....Should I add engraving? I would want blossoms like the vintage blossom bands...Mine will be flush with my bands..I want to be able to wear my asscher and round band baguette bands with it.....

Oh gosh that was not intended to send you into stress, only to get you excited about yours! I think with your longer baguette you might not see too much of the engraving from the top view? Maybe if you decide to get an additional band to pair with it, you can do a fully engraved band with some gypsy set stones in the flowers

@mjea Yes..It’s a wide band so may not go with her. It’s a pierced engraved band with flowers that have a diamond in each flower. The first one is just the engraved band..The one with Winter has the diamond in each flower..

I also have two modern engraved flower bands of different thicknesses.
