Okay, ladies, the wonderful women over on BWW started posting inspiration boards for their weddings (and yeah, sure, I made a few for fun), and I thought it would be fun if we did that for our dream rings! I''ll start (some things are posted for interesting elements, some because they''d be a good w-band, and the necklace just because I love it).

Btw, the entire top row is from Jewels by Erica Grace, because I''m absolutely amazed by the stones they have on there. *swoon*

I FINALLY made it... I couldn''t figure out how to on my mac but I just did it... Clearly I LOVE lovely''s ring... I don''t know exactly everyone else''s...

Wow! IloveAsschers13 I love the ring on the top row in the middle. Do you know who''s it is? It looks gorgeous! I would love to see a bigger pic.

Here''s mine, including the rings of Harriet, October2008Bride, Offset Z, and a Tacori lover whose name escapes me at the moment.

Here is mine :-). I don't know exactly what I want, but I have a few desired critera.
1) A solitare or pave ring
2) I like RB and chunky cushions
3) Custom setting that is made to the measurements of the diamond

I know my BF really likes the Tiffany solitare, which I do to, but this place has opened me up to so many options.

Here are some of my favorite inspiration rings. I want to give credit to Wishful, HappyFish, Boston_Jeff, and TBA because I am using their pics as inspiration.

I know LF, youre right. I just go back and forth between the halos and non halos so much. Its such a polar feeling too, either I want one or I hate it - now the emerald cut too.. Im letting the SO do all the work when it comes to deciding. I know I''ll love whatever he picks

This is such a yummy thread! I am not a LIW. Actually, if I don''t stop changing my setting I will be a LIWFD (lady in waiting for a divorce) but here are my current love''s, and I also swoon over Lovey''s asscher

Wow ladies...these are great!

very impressed

Um. Ok. Mine is more of a ring evolution board...

I think it needs some explanation because it''s a lot of rings and it''s been narrowed down a lot since we started looking....

The stones are a 1.20 6.5mm Barry Bridgestock (the purple and blue one-vertical--same stone, just in different lighting conditions) and a 1.26 6.4mm Dan Stair (not as chunky). FF is leaning towards the Barry.

As for the rings, if you start at just after 12 (like on a clock) that the Varna I''ve been lusting after forever. My first dream ring.
At 2 o''clock is a MaeVona solitaire which I liked because it has a funky twist on the traditional solitaire (pretty pricey though).
At 3 and 4, we have a plain ol'' 4 prong solitaire (classic and a great fallback, but not what I ultimately want).
At 5 is a MWM custom solitaire, and at 6 another MWM custom job.
At 7 there is a starset solitaire by Sara C (whoever that is), which kind of intrigued me.
Above that at 8 is a d''Vatche Royal Crown, which is just a bit too common for me to enjoy properly, but FF loved it because "it looks like it holds something magical". Gotta love that.
At 9 is a Daniel K split shank which I LOVE the shape of the split shank, but the diamonds have got to go.
Above that is the ArtCarved Grace ring, which I absolutely adore the profile of.
And then right before 12 o''clock is my ghetto photoshop job of trying to add the split shank of the Daniel K (I''m so ashamed of my lack of ability to do justice to that split shank) and the profile view of the ArtCarved, Minus all of the diamonds, and with the Barry stone added for a touch of "realism". My attempt at creating the profile of just the stone is pretty miserable, but I never realized how hard it would be until I started doing it.

So...yeah. I don''t even know if it''s a feasible design, but I haven''t found anything like it on the internet.

And if I have any of your rings up here, and didn''t give you credit (I didn''t save any pics by usernames) I''m sorry! But if it''s any consolation, I love your rings!

OOOOOOOO I wanna play!

But I spent so much time last week on my wedding board (at work) so I will have to make one and it will appear within the next few days. lol! I will have to refer to my dream library (which still happens to be on my flash drive and I have it with me!) Some of you will know what I am talking about when I speak of my dream library.

Beautiful rings BTW!!! And a great idea!

Okay here''s mine. Start from the top left, that''s what I originally wanted. Then added a halo. Changed stone to emerald. Then found the winnie and MMM!
30.gif
I took my gallery idea from nycbagchick. My final inspiration from overstock.com (of all places) then my CAD with stone!

Very cool sunny!

Here''s my ring board! Among the stock images featured are rings from Ellen, LynnB, and Demelza. I always thought I wanted a solitaire, but now I am finding myself very intrigued at the possibility of having a stellar five stone engagement ring to pair with a plain band. WF is even quoting me on a customized Skye right now, lol. I will likely go to try this look on soon to be sure. :)

Enjoy!

I just wanted to pop in and say that everyone''s ring board is soooo pretty and sparkly, ha I love everyone''s ideas! Everyone has a pretty clear idea (even if you dont think so) what they want, clearly from the pics!

Lovely boards, ladies!
You can copy the images off the web and paste them to microsoft paint. You can arrange them and shink them. Once you have the images sized and arranged, save them as a jpg image. Than re-open in a photo editor and resize it so that it is less than 100 kb (so you can upload it to PS).

If anyone knows a better way, I would love to know.

WOW these are great everyone!!!

There are many rings that I looooooove to admire/drool over, but there is only one that i really have my heart set on... so my board has one lone ring on it haha!

the D. Vatche Slim X-Prong Pave

I do have a bunch of rings saved that have stood out to me.. but I don''t really have any photo editing software on my mac that would allow me to make this kind of collage.. oh well..

Sailor - I love that tacori in the bottom right of your collage! It was my favorite for a while but I was never able to see a pic of it on someone and they didn't have it in real life at any jewelers in town... Have you seen any pics of the ring on a anyone?

BRIDAL CANVAS! (Go to www.bridalcanvas.com.) It''s the site that spurred all this inspiration board-ing. You have to register, then when you log in, go to "Create a Canvas." On the tabs to the right, click on "My Pictures." You can upload photos from your computer onto the My Pictures gallery, then click on them, and they appear in your canvas! Soooo much easier than Paint.

Thanks Iluvcarats! I think that''s probably going to be *the one*! Yay!

I use Photoshop for my collages. I haven''t even gone to Bridal Canvas. Lol.

DON''T. I tried it for my ring board and I can easily see it becoming a new form of wedding crack for me.

Ladies, i love your ring inspiration boards!

Amanda, I love the rings in the top centre...where''d you find those??

I don''t remember ever seeing the profile shot of Coati''s ring but it''s stunning...I can spot it a mile away! haha :)

Mine!

Special thanks to JadeLeaves, Blondie, and DiamondNut for the pics of your beautiful rings.

As you might be able to tell, I can't decide between a simple and elegant Leon cathedral, or the flashier Mark Morrell Flame...!

EDIT: I'm with Equestrienne.. Bridal Canvas = wedding crack
