I called the jeweler yesterday just to see if I could get my wedding band back (they were soldered together) and never got a call back.

I just want my band! I don''t expect them to have all of it done, LOL.

In a moment of weakness I emailed my jeweler just to "check in" and see how things were going (and to see if he had an idea when my ring *might* be done). Poor man--he''s going to be very tired of me by the time this whole process is over.

After that I promptly went to the bakery for a chocolate croissant (no ice cream shops around the office)
