. That was at the beginning of the trip. By the end I''d gained 5 lbs, which really isn''t as bad as I thought it would be since I pigged out for 2 weeks straight before the wedding (I''m a stress eater) and ate until it hurt almost every day of the honeymoon. I was all excited when I weighed myself this morning to see that I hadn''t done that much damage. Then DH got on the scale and announced that he''d lost 5 lbs from eating the same way I had. Haha.

luckystar112, I think I''m more sad that the honeymoon is over than the wedding. I had a blast at the wedding, but the planning was soooo stressful for me. Plus now I get to do it all over again as Sabine''s MOH! I''ll definitely be around. I''m so attached to this forum and all of you guys .

Thanks Zoe! I''m the tannest I''ve ever been. Tom is mostly red and very crispy. He thought it was silly to buy spray on aloe when we already had the gel, but now he''s happy I did because even almost a week after he got burned his shoulders are still really tender and I have to aloe them twice a day. My poor baby

Awe, thanks Minny! We did the "love" pose because I had really wanted to do have the picture in our wedding clothes, but we forgot about it.

We had an amazing time, surfgirl! It was definitely nice getting away from it all right away, but I think it would''ve been more relaxed if we''d given ourselves at least one day in between.

Lol, sum. We felt like the 3 tours we picked were things that we probably couldn''t do anywhere else and may never get the chance to do again. I really think that 2 weeks would''ve been the perfect amount of time to spend there because that would''ve allowed us time to do all the tours we wanted and still have a week to just relax. Oh well. It was still amaizng even without tons of relaxation time

Harleigh, that''s too funny about the bathing suits! I brough enough to wear one each day, but ended up wearing the pink and white one twice instead of one of the others. It broke the second time I wore it (It''s a few years old and parts are connected by little plastic rings) and I had to safety pin it at a restaurant so I could go snorkeling! DH made fun of my for bringing so many suits, but it''s not like they took up a lot of room and we spent most of the trip in bathing suits, so why not?

Daydreamer I highly recommend extending your stay if you can! Especially since you have to be there for a few days before the wedding to establish residency. I''m sure a wedding through sandals is much less stressful than one done on your own (these people are so detail oriented and awesome at taking care of you!), but the time right before the wedding is going to be stressful no matter where you are so it would suck if you had to count that as part of your vacation

Oh my gosh, Robbie, your post made me laugh so hard! I had a similar incident while boating last month... I wore an old suit that was of course attached with PLASTIC! Right after we set out on the lake, I bent down into the cutty for some lotion and the back latch just snapped right off! Thank goodness I was bending over and caught the um, well, how should I say, the girls and managed to keep myself somewhat decent? We of course had no safety pins, so my friend tied it up so tight I felt like a turkey all trussed up for Thanksgiving dinner! I could barely breathe all day, but that suit was goin'' nowhere! I carry safety pins with me wherever I go now...the BIG industrial size ones!

Thanks for the thoughts! Our reservations are for 8-6 to 8-10 with the wedding on the 8th. We are doing the "quickie" and paid the extra money so that we didn''t have to establish residency. And I have reconsidered the length of stay prior to reading your postings but tonight I am totally convinced that we need to stay longer. We were worried about staying away from the kids for too long especially when 2 of them have birthdays while we were gone. His daughter will be 7 on the 6th and my son will be 7 on the 9th.

FI and I did have a chat tonight and I did ask him to reconsider and gave some very good reasons to extend. He is reconsidering. I have a feeling that he will change his mind and we will extend.

As for the planning, I''m hoping that they will do it all for us and that we just have to make simple recommendations and just show up. The dress search is quite frustrating. How is the shopping in Pitts. ? I''m only an hour away (OH) !

Robbie--What was ziplining through the rainforest like? Were you really high off the ground? I was showing FI your photos (and being like, "I WANNA DO THAT!!!!" and he said that I probably wouldn''t dare to.

I ziplined at a camp when I was 13, but I think we were only like 30 ft off the ground.

We still haven''t picked a HM destination, but St.Lucia is up there on our list now!
