wow
she looks so beaitiful, such a lovelly dress and that colour is always my favourite
but an opertunity lost to pair that look with the foam diamond tiara
why do so many royal ladies of this younger generation choose to leave the sparklers at home ???
Sorry...but I couldn't let the photo simply be linked. After all, this forum was started to be about photogenic royal jewelry, not simply photogenic members of royal families! The jewelry is supposed to be the star of the forum! In this case, I never would have known of the jewelry at all had it not been for your vigilance, Rad Fan. Thank you! I see that the earrings are hearts, not shields.
Thank you for finding the photo, sydneyatl! You are a very good detective.
Just found "Rare Catalog Chronicles Russia’s Regalia and Crown Jewels" from GIA and wanted to share it with you all, wish it's colored but am still happy to see it.
I wonder if this would have been a bold choice then (up to 1840).
I passed within visiting distance of Rosenborg more than once, not knowing that it contains the greatest pile of table cut diamonds WWW; there ought to be a next time, I need to get this cut out of my head.
