Royal Jewels

not a royal but not just a servant either,
friend Angela Kelly

worthy of a picture here because she was responsable for much of how we saw the Queen

not sure Queen Camilia will need her as she will have her own friends and staff with her husband

the new king and queen go to church at Crathie Kirk near Balmoral.
@prince.of.preslav or @dk168 can we see a brooch ?
what is that thing above the King's pocket square / hanky ?

Looks like a Fleur de lis pin on Charles.

Can't see if Camilla is wearing anything on her outfit due to the reflection on the window.

DK :))

coming to a post box or government dept near you :lol-2:

not technically a jewel or a piece of jewlery ;)2
but with a king now we have to bend the rules sometimes

perhaps the king will have tie pins made for Prince Edward and Prince William like the one for HM's grandfather George vi

get your loop out to see Edward's one

better picture of earrings
that coat is crying out for a big gold brooch
Diana would have had something suitable im sure if its too soon to be divying up the late Queen's brooches
but what better way to honor HM's memory than to wear her brooches

That would be lovely. I've always liked royal cypher memorabilia, especially the sparkly ones.

Angela Kelly is one I've been thinking a lot about. After reading both books, it is clear they had a special friendship.

I thought I’d read that Angela Kelly was going to retire, and was OK with it. She has a home for life.

Princess of Wales earrings
I won't annoy anyone with my opinion, I've already expressed my thoughts on pages 507
and 508 of this thread.

To the wonderful PS royal experts, this may be a silly question with an obvious answer but I truly do not know the answer….What crown or crowns will King Charles wear at his Coronation and at Royal events at which the Queen wore a crown? Does the new cypher give a clue? I found it interesting that the late Queen and female members wore crowns at these grand events and not the male members. I assume it is some sort of protocol. The only pic I have seen with Charles wearing a crowns as when he was inducted(?) as Prince of Wales - a ceremony Prince William is foregoing. Any insight? Thank you.

i would think the new king will wear this one at the stage opening of parliment like the late Queen did (pre-pandemic coupled with old age)

Queen Victoria, Queen Alexandra (wife of Edward vii) Queen Mary wife of George v)
hmmmm no picture of the Queen mum ?
Perhaps it passed from Queen Mary to her granddaughter ?
and our late Queen as a young and an older lady
in the George iv diadem
no one could find a picture of George iv wearing it
but it would be so awsome and also highly unlikely for king Charles to wear it
anyway our late Queen wore it in the procession to her corrination
1664406321545.png
also worn for an opening of parliment (it must be eaiser to wear than the other that just sat on a cushion)
