Actually, Catherine does have a non-paper/jewelled/reusable poppy, even two
More on the first poppy and what it stands for here - https://www.ok.co.uk/royal/royal-ne...n=continue_reading_button#amp-readmore-target
@Daisys and Diamonds , this is my own poppy pin.
The leaf could have been more vivid in colour, however, it will do.

This kind of reminds me a JAR Camelia brooch, which was sold in the Jewels for Hope auction a few years ago.
A much cheaper version, of course, but I get the same vibe

id love to see a close up of the ring
this is all i can find about it
A formal portrait of Princess Alexandra and Nicolas was released with the statement, showing the happy couple posing closely together. Making things official, the princess' intricate engagement ring was on full display — a gold band encrusted with what appear to be diamonds and other colored gems.
It would be interesting to see the brooches that will be worn by the royal ladies at this year's Remembrance Sunday.
I wonder if the late HM QE II's Dorset bow brooch or other bow brooches would make an appearance for instance.
On a side note - I sang God Save The King in public for the first time at the end of a concert in memory of the late HM QE II, and I got very emotional.

Are you ready for some Oranje-Nassau glitter?
Three Dutch royal ladies wore dazzling jewels last night to host a State Dinner for the President of Italy and his daughter in Amsterdam.
Queen Maxima wore the Ornate pearl tiara with 5 upright pearls, 5 rows of pearls (with the impressive clasp at the back) and simple pearl and diamond studs and her own ring. This setting of the tiara was last worn by then-Queen Beatrix the night before she abdicated.
Princess Beatrix wore one of the lighter tiaras - the Art Deco aquamarine bandeau with matching earrings and ring. But she didn't stop there - HRH added a riviere and star brooch to her ensemble for the night.
Last but not least, we have Princess Margriet. I've always thought that she has a profound interest in family history and jewels and she's often the one to turn up in new settings or long-forgotten gems. Such was the case last night when she wore the laurel wreath bandeau, which we last saw in 2017.
The Princess also wore her own diamond pendant earrings and bow brooch. Note that large stone hanging there!
That is one fugly bouquet IMHO.
