so its Easter week tomorrow
my work will be ramping up the hot cross bun production, with orders being taken, i get an extra day's work to cope on Thursday and then Good Friday off before Saturday work, we dont open on Sundays and Monday is my usual day off so i miss out on that one
this headline is overly dramatic, so dont panic but im really hoping for a brooch or two for Easter church , who do you think will be there ?

i think the kids are too young to have known there grandmother, it does seem a shame to not keep the things for them rather than sell them for cash

I know it wasn't the point of the post but I LOVE the cut of that brown coat! It's different than the standard peacoat or trenchcoat and very flattering with those tucks (not sure that's the right term).

This is the best Charlene has looked in a long time! Her softer hair frames her face nicely.

These Cartier twin brooches were a (birthday?) present to Princess Elizabeth in the war years from her parents. Princess Margaret had an identical pair in rubies, which she sold at some point.

They are gorgeous, but I do not like the way she styled them. Too much symmetry with the earrings, in my opinion. They would have looked more stylish worn together at a slight diagonal high upon her left shoulder on the coat itself, not on the lapel.
