Very pretty stone - did you say what you are going to do with it?

Hopefully - set it in a pendant with Mahenge as a paired ring. I am still stuck with the garnet; I understand Chrono''s advice to put it into open prongs and at the same time I need to protect it. Nothing that I have seen fully satisfies me.

Your rubellite looks very strongly coloured and bright in the indoor pictures. Pretty stone. BTW, what’s the ct weight and measurement? Does it become redder under different lighting?

I can tell you the carat weight - it is 4.65 ct. Lisa did not provide measurements in her invoice but I am waiting for a measuring device to arrive in my mail so that I can measure it myself.
