i loooove Gaffers little ears. they are both so cute. i am also glad you have given them a permanent home. has anyone seen the sarah macglaughlin (isnt that even close to right?) commercial? with all the abandoned furbabies? it makes me so sad that i cant watch it! i donate, but cant stand the commercials

Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind words about our furbabies! We brought them home with us on Saturday and they are settling into our house wonderfully. Bianca was snuggling with me in bed this morning.

I can''t recommend Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue enough--they are wonderful people. If anyone lives near Northern California (or near enough--we had a 10 hour car ride back with the kitties!), they are a wonderful organization.

Bee, we''re calling Bianca "Bee" for short! It made me think of you.

TraderGirl, Bianca is an American Shorthair.

Lynn, the rescue organization said that Bianca hadn''t shown any signs of being deaf in one ear. Even if she was, we''d love her just the same.

AmberGretchen, we will definitely get some pictures of them soon. I tried to take some this morning of Bianca cuddling in bed with me, but there wasn''t enough light.

MonkeyPie, Gaffer is such a baby--it''s funny that he looks so angry in that picture! Granted, he had just been in the car for 7 hours. He''s such a snuggler, though. He likes to lay on his back so you can rub his belly.

blackpaw, they get along great! For AmberGretchen, I''m attaching a snuggle pic I took this morning (sorry for the quality--I didn''t want to startle them by turning on the light!)

Gaffer had his first vet visit on Monday to get checked out since the rescue program didn''t have time to do it before we took him home. He did great! He''s in wonderful health and the vet couldn''t believe what a great cat he was--she wanted to take him home and give him belly rubs. I am just so in love with them both!
