Oh wow, how unique! I love that you picked the green string one too.

Very cool Seaglow!!

Super interesting!

You have to wear it for the next seaside vacay!

You find the nicest things! I love how diverse your style is!!!!!

Still jelly of those rose gold jade earrings you got in HK (I think it was HK)!

Here’s a pendant/enhancer from Roberto Coin. 18k gold with tourmaline, iolite, garnet, amethyst, and diamond melees, with the signature ruby melee at the back.

Tres luxe! The Roberto Coin looks so intricate in this set of photos.

How lovely!! Really love the strong yellow gold texture of the pendant! Your pictures bring back memories of the few times I’ve been in MonteCarlo. I was taken by the jewelry I saw when I was there, both in the shops and on the society ladies! What a beautiful place it is. Really loving the gem encrusted friendship bracelet!

Your bracelet looks very pretty on you! You are so lucky to have found it!

I love the colors in the second Bulgari photo! Wow! If only...

Monte Carlo is really something. It’s one of the few places where luxury pieces go on display. The fast cars, designer gowns, the bling, and all the works. :geek2:

Thanks...yes...if only! I got rhinestones on shoes instead. Lol.

What's stopping you from swapping out the rhinestones with a few of your many stones in your collection? :P

Yeah, I love coming back to this thread. Although I'm wary that I will start hoarding more and more stones after I check this thread out  (I have quite a few unset ones already). There are a lot lot lot of beautiful things here. I remember Seaglow also has a fantastic collection of pearls:clap:.

Thanks! Yes, I do collect pearls. :)

I had some unheated round sapphires earlier in this thread meant for a bracelet. Now it’s done and set in 18k white gold with white sapphire melees in between. ;)2

Also, someone used to do this sapphire in gold bezel setting in the center of another sapphire of different color. 4.98 carats purple sapphire in blue/violet sapphire (color shift). Both sapphires natural.

Soooo jelly!!!!!!

Need an arm shot of the bracelet!

It’s wonderful to see the sapphires set! I love the movement in it...the colors and smaller melee keep the eyes moving, which is unusual. Normally there is a general stiffness to gem bracelets. Sinuous and snake like, a bit like river stones across a stream.

The pendant is fabulously unusual and pretty! I can imagine it with a lovely pastel blouse and different pastel skirt or pants.

Thanks.

I designed it myself and had a local bench (old school goldsmithing) do it. This particular goldsmith does fantastic bezel setting for melees. I opted for an all sapphire bracelet so cost is much lower than doing it with diamonds. :)

That’s awesome, even better so that the sapphires don’t compete with diamonds. I imagine doing it with sapphire melees makes it softer looking, which goes so well with the gentle colors.

Tsavorites! So hard to find a decent Tsavorite cab so got 3 when I saw them in the classic vivid green color. Also got lighter faceted ones with open colors. The bigger round is a Mali garnet. All above a carat except the round Mali and bigger cab which are over 2 carats.

Not everyone’s cup of tea but I like the sleepy neon stones like this round Mali garnet (2.56 carats) in highlighter color. I also like these sleepy stones in corundum, spinels, and copper-bearing tourmalines because although they are not bright, they hardly have extinction. :)

Pearls! I wanted to upgrade but there are fewer supply of large Aussie WSSPs and Philippine natural color deep GSSPs, and if you find some, the prices have significantly gone up. Top 4 are the purchases and bottom 3 are previous purchases. Got a couple of Keshi strands (Tahitians and SSPs), baroque bluish silver SSPs and small deep golden SSPs. For reference, the big whites are 12mm-16.28mm and the small deep goldens are 7mm-8mm.

Also got some small FCDs with GIA reports for a future project.

Some very affordable bi-coloured tourmalines and calibrated melees for projects. The green melees are chrysoprase.
