I love that they shift in color! I’ve always been interested in tanzanite, but not in faceted form, ( because I always fear that I’d somehow end up splitting the stones except in necklace form, but I’d want to see the tanzanite while wearing.) These beads are however are a different story! The simplicity, pure soulfulness and raw beauty is amazing.Lol. Even the Burmese sellers were asking if they are very expensive lavender jade. They do look like it from afar or even a few inches of viewing.... I chose from hundreds of bracelets and took the most pleasant color since there are slight color variations for each bracelet. It’s sort of a vivid but at the same time bordering pastel color. But since tanzanite is highly pleochroic, there’s some color shift going on so it’s a very nice vivid lavender that turns violet and to even the most beautiful cornflower color (the typical, usual flower color, not the trade sapphire cornflower blue).
Omg I want that necklace!!!! Please tell me where you found it!
Those are lovely!! What are you planning to do with them?Selected from a multicoloured lot of tourmalines. These are not claimed to be copper bearing and haven’t been tested for copper so I paid normal tourmaline prices for them. The big peach and sea foam are 7+ carats.

No plans yet. I’ve just set a copper-bearing tourmaline with a Mahenge spinel on an enhancer.
@icy_jade.... here is how the enhancer turned out. I forgot to make clear instructions to the goldsmith then went to a different country. I was expecting prong and it was bezel set. The bezel was done properly so I’m keeping it this way.
I usually prefer enhancers (opens at the back) so I have an option to hang it on pearls and beads.
Really love both! The spinels seem more evening while the aquas seem more light and day time. So many looks possible with this. I can also imagine a thick, doubled chain with it .
