Stunning!!!

So beutiful!! Thanks for adding the new pics and the profile shot.
Could you also do a new family pic? You have such a gorgeous collectiin with diamonds and sapphires

@Acinom @LisaRN - great suggestions. I'll start a new thread and include family pix and the story about how I got this sapphire. Stay tuned.

Just gorgeous! This beautiful ring deserves it's own thread.

You have lovely pieces. How about these for something different or something bold?

@Acinom - took your advice and went for tapered french cuts. There are a total of 12 (6 per side), and they are G/VS quality channel set with a milgrain. The flare of the french cuts feels more curved in person. These photos make it look a lot flatter than it is IRL.

Everything is set in platinum. I love it!

Beautiful choice! I’m sure you this is going into many inspiration ring collections right away! Enjoy your sapphires in good health. :appl:

Wow, that's really beautiful!

Sorry to go off topic, but @Arkteia, do you have any more pics of the ring in your avatar? It's gorgeous! Maybe a thread somewhere?

No thread yet; will take me some searching. (I must have bought the stone around 2012). So I don't even remember where the original photos were. I can pull out the vendor's photos but need to look through piles of emails. (This very photo was taken under San Francisco's sun. It was bright, and the spinel started slightly fluorescing. Hence it looks so bright, I did not edit the photo at all).

That's okay. The stone is such an astonishing color. You could probably see it from across the street. Really really nice. Thanks for your reply.

STUNNING! Love the way your new sapphire ring turned out!

Divine! Your ring is absolutely fabulous...I love everything about it. I saw an all diamond version a few years ago and loved it then, with the stunning Sapphire yours is fantastic. Enjoy wearing it :)
