First time poster here :)

This is my 1.01 carat solitaire. It is H in color, SI1 and the cut is Ideal. It has a LOT of fire and I am absolutely in love with it.

Aloha, I'm so glad you posted!! Your ring is beautiful and I love the cathedral setting, it really shows off your stone  !

Darn PS totally shrunk the pics so you can't really see the piecework. BOO!!! :knockout:

Madelise, I've been meaning to respond for a while…you might not even see this…but I was able to enlarge your photos on my screen and the piecework is amazing! I really do love this ring

I have sometimes had more pics of my jewelry than of my own child on my phone... But like a true addict I know how to cover it up well: whenever I share my phone with someone I make sure to erase all bling pics first (that sometimes takes a while to do!)

Hello, (waves hand in the air), me too! So true! I have more pics of bling in my phone than from my trip to Venice (and I took more than 600 then!) and definitely more than of my dog.

Thanks, JuneBug! I'm so pleasantly surprised at how well it's survived the last 100 years. There were a few cracks that needed to be mended, and the sides got eaten in from the previous owner wearing rings next to it, but Claude Morady in Beverly Hills remedied those problems. The one part that still bugs me a bit is the filigree work at the top of this picture-- it was broken and sticking out, snagged on my sweater, and really damaged the ring more. Claude Morady smashed it back in so it doesn't snag anymore, but it's still ugly compared to the beautiful non-damaged fan design on the bottom half of this picture.

In the spirit of the thread about fluorescence, I had to take some random pics of my lovely medium blue F. Sorry, but this does not look "odd" to me. Just gorgeous!!

I had this two ring set made from my engagement diamond, a pair of studs from my Dad, and my Grandmother's wedding ring stones.
The diamonds are set in platinum wire baskets and the ring is 18k w/a tiny platinum bead. It sits very low and flat on my finger, just the height of the stones.

I love this ring - does it have a thread? hm-m-m...the photo of it didn't show up, but you know which ring I mean!. If there is not a thread, do you have more photos you can post?

I could not help myself - they look so great in there. Snooper was kind enough to let the box stay with it when I bought the tourm ring from her. The infamous LM leather box.

LL there's NO WAY your ring would ever look odd!!! It's one of my favorites on PS (but of course, you know that ;)) ).

A bit off topic, I saw your thread asking about diamond studs and I was trying to submit a post about my experience w/ Good Old Gold but the server kept kicking me out for some reason :(( .

GOG really has a gift of personalizing the purchasing process that goes beyond what I consider to be "great customer service". I think the fact that they're a family owned and run business might make that extra difference and I wanted to share my experience in hopes of helping you and maybe others who are considering working with them.

+1!! I ADORE your e-ring! It's got the perfect finger coverage and is breathtakingly eye-catching both in its sparkle and classic lines. It looks a lot like what I just had made.

Zoe, your transformation is AMAZING! I thought your original ring was beautiful and I love this one just as much ! It really showcases your three stones so well and I'm glad you're so thrilled with the outcome.

Hi Roxy, so nice to hear from you. I would love to hear any experiences you have had with them. I hope you can post on the stud question thread. Otherwise I'll look for you on rocky Talky. Call me out and I'll find you.

Thank you Sandy. You made my day. :). I'm actually pretty ok with my ring for now. Just goes to show you it's all in my head. I keep envisioning sparklies on my ears and have forgotten all about my setting issue. I can't wait for your reset to be done. You have to do a SMTB!!!
