Mom2boys, it was just under $56k. It was a stunning piece. It clearly wasn't white white. But it wasn't really warm either. They had just showed me two D asschers and I could tell the difference. It was a little off white, but in the sunlight it showed lots of pastel colors which kinda surprised me.

Yes they're both custom pieces. We worked with Chris both times and although there's usually a few hiccups along the way, it was a pretty smooth process!

The cabochon is unknown weight jade. Who knows if nephrite or jadite. It's a gift from grandmother. She purchased it from Taiwan back in the day.

The loud cluster ring is an emerald that has a crack rightttttt through the middle of it, and I'm just waiting for it to break. I'll need to replace the center stone. The diamonds are about 2ctw. Loud and obnoxious, ostentatious.... I love it!

I do! But I never really updated it. I always have so much trouble with the uploader on PS (as I am having now! )that I haven't really found that I like to do full threads or posts with multiple pictures often.

Thank you, Junebug. If I had less issues with the picture uploader, this thread would be twice as long. I think I take pictures of my sparklies on a daily basis!! There's always great lighting in Southern CA. As for my collection... well... I've tried my best to be "good" while in grad school, but that's been a weak attempt. Pricescope-itis is a serious disease. I swear I'll end up a hobo under a bridge, crazed, but with lots of "my precious" one day. I blame you guys!!!! I can't believe how much crap I've amassed in the last 3 years of finding PS.

Aww thanks M2B, I have actually decided to not really post my new stuff on PS. Mostly out of laziness. I just don't take pretty pictures plus resizing photos is just a pain and time consuming. So I might throw up the occasional picture but don't expect much more then that from me. The other excuse is for some reason I want to keep certain pieces special and private. And while I know many out there love and appreciate looking at jewelry, I also dont' want them showing up all over social media, which happens when you post on PS. So I will post a few things here and there but probably won't do full blown SMTB threads anymore. I will post my studs in the stud thread though. Someone else already made me promise.
