You know I''m right next to Palo Alto I just haven''t had the time to go try on anything. And for some reason I kept thinking I had to go to SF to try them on.... I should just go by there and see how they fit! I''ll be getting a pair pretty quickly though so I guess I''ll find out soon enough.

So I called the store in Palo Alto and they don't have my sizes for the black sedaraby or any other color. They recommended trying the 'Sudy' but it's a slightly different shoe that looks similar. In a normal shoe I can ocassionaly fit into a 7.5 depending on the shoe but I mainly buy an 8 so it's not too tight. I have a wider foot though. The salesperson did tell them that the reason people size down is due to the lack of support since the shoe is only supported by the toe and heel area.
Now i'm worried I didn't get the right size! This process is stressful!

Those shoes are so beautiful it won''t matter what your dress looks like!!. I''m waaaayyy beyond being able to stand up, let alone walk in shoes like that, but when I could....they''d have been mine in a heartbeat!!!
Does it get better than a wedding in Maui, wearing Manolos and marrying the best guy ever??
Thanks for the tip, I wonder if I should just order another pair just in case...Date: 2/6/2008 9:29:27 PM

Sorry about that! Its a Manolo craze...my friend just ordered a pair from Bergdorf Goodman''s in NY today too. She said that her sales guy, Eddy, just told her they got in a new shipment. So if yours don''t fit and you need a different size, that''s another place to try. Plus no sales tax.
PS. That''s wierd that Palo Alto didn''t have the black Sedaraby in 37.5 (thats your size, right?) cause that was the size on the display model when I was there yesterday afternoon. I guess they sell fast!

They do run big...I''m normally a 38 or 38.5 and I bought a 37.5.
In addition if you love the shoes all the more reason to get married in them, plus you can actually wear them again. I''ve had a pair of silver jimmy choo''s for years and so I decided to wear them on my wedding day, and my best friend ending up getting the same shoes and wore them for her wedding too.
Go for it!
