Hehe, wanted to add these. Cheap, but they made London happy-they have "jewels" on them and an eensy weensy heel you know! She digs shoes and we like to browse thru here so she was quite excited to have shoes to show off. You should SEE this child strutting around the house!

Thanks SDL!! I did keep them, and I'm so happy I did. They're super comfy and easy to dress up or down.

My BF is a fan of me in wedges, and I'd had an eye on the Acrobat wedges in my latest post, so he decided to buy them for me. Good BF!!

oddly, i "get shoes [unlike Coach bags]. i haven't worn these types of shoes in years, but, ladies, i have to tell you i've enjoyed checking in periodically on your shopping progress as posted in this thread!

and i'm old enough to see trends and what's popular recycle once again.......some of these remind me of shoes my aunt wore in the 1940's and then became popular again when i was a young woman.

Thanks, oranges! I've worn them almost nonstop since last week, and I love them more and more each day. They're SO comfortable, and look very classy and elegant. This is the first pair of heels I've ever owned that I can wear for 8-10 hours nonstop and not be in any pain whatsoever.

These are more folk couture than haute couture but my Mom custom made them for me. I got them in the mail from her yesterday and they are so cute and comfy.

Kelpie, those are adorable!!! I love them! I also love the term "folk couture"--very fitting and clever.

I have recently been turned on to Chacos, and WOW, I have been missing out! I love love love high heels, but I do a ton of walking on a daily basis and I'm on my feet several hours at a time on days I work so I was in need of something comfy that would take some abuse from the street as well as hiking trails this summer. I now own three pair and highly recommend them.
