YES. It is pretty impossible at this point for her to win and she is dividing the party in a way that will not help in November, especially against someone like McCain.

Yes, and hoping she does it soon.

she burried Obama in W. Virginia

not the fact that she won (no surprise there) but by so many %

Yeah but my FI pointed out how she won all of the areas that Republicans always win (and most likely will win in the Fall regardless of whether she were the nom), where as Obama won all the areas the Dems need to win, the larger cities.

Dancing Fire they''ve been estimating for the past week she would win by 40%. I''m not surprised and I''m not giving up on my opinion that she should withdraw. I stand behind what I said in the other thread. He''s gained 9 super delegates TODAY. That is more impressive and more valuable than WV IMHO.

Like him or not, want him or not, Obama''s entire campaign has been nothing short of impressive. Whoulda thunk it??<--------such a grammarian

LOL Miracles (what's bad is that I'm a huge grammar and spelling stickler, even though my punctuation is subpar, and I just have to turn it off on here-although to be honest, there isn't a lot of errors on PS-elsewhere, very bad, but PS doesn't make me want to gouge out my eyes). Very very true on his campaign.

like it or not...
this thing is going all the way to Denver.

Reeeallllly??? I would have never guessed that about you!

Actually, I think it''s one of the reasons I am still single. I never dated. I was a single working Mom. Against my better judgment, I agreed to sign up on Match.com to appease my daughter when she moved out on her own. OMG, I would just delete every email because the men couldn''t even write a sentence. Don''t even get me started on their profiles. I just keep thinking "Good Lord, is this how much effort they will put into every other area of their life?" The least they could do would be to have a friend proofread it for them. In fact, Match.com could create an additional revenue source by offering that service.

I have a small confession. This is so bad. Sometimes, when I got really bored, I would send messages to some of the more cocky men, providing unsolicited advice on their profiles, suggesting that if they corrected the thirty errors in that one paragraph they might get lucky. I only did it a couple of times, but it was fun.

OMG!!!LMAO!!!! That is hilarious and totally something I''d do!!!Did they ever fix them??

I actually am! I hate the nasty shorthand people use all over the place and I can''t stand how people seem to spell words all messed up--AND the messed up spelling seems to be spreading!! Like rediculous. Where did that come from? I actually won my school''s spelling bee when I was in 7th grade (I beat all 8th grade boys! They were p-ed off.) and I owe it all to my mom. She was an English major in college, and she started reading to me as soon as she got her hands on me. I was never allowed video games-instead I could have as many books as I wanted. Literally, we''d go to the bookstore once a week. And I would read through about 3 books a day when I was in 2nd grade. I''m sure it got expensive, but I know she never regrets it. Meanwhile, my dad is the WORST SPELLER IN THE WORLD. Munkee=monkey. When I was little he would ask ME how to spell stuff. Love the man, but he can''t spell worth a poo.

Anyway, I''ll use well known acronyms, but when I see stuff like, "omg, did u c tht gurl" I want to rip my eyeballs out.

And as for Denver-

. I totally agree however. She''s not giving up until someone tells her she has to. Bleh.

please excuse my grammars and spellings b/c english is my second language.

No, they never fixed them. They never wrote me back either. Surprise, surprise. My favorite email was the ever popular and effusive "Your hot" On my rather menopausal days I wanted to respond "You''re so not" But I''ve matured since then.

I won my 6th grade spelling bee with "photosynthesis". It is still one of the highlights of my life. I didn''t go to college, so I am a ...girl, because I struggle with the proper placement of a comma.

I just finished Obama''s book last night. I love his writing style. I was also intrigued by his candor in describing his political career and life on Capitol Hill. I lobby in Washington D.C. every other year and while reading his book, it brought fond memories of my first official tour. I could picture the Rayburn Building and the Senators racing through the tunnel to make it in time for a vote on the floor. I can''t wait to go back in March 2009.

I just wish this Democratic race would end. Although it''s probably more interesting and less polarizing than what we can expect with the general election.

Grrrr, I want to go to sleep, but I am not tired. I don''t want to be crankypants tomorrow.

Don''t worry Dancing Fire. I used to have keyboard paralysis after reading some of the posts on this board. Freke, Karen, Gypsy, DF, and I could go on and on...etc, etc.

::::shrugs::::

As long as you don''t start text messaging us in the new shorthand, I think you''re safe.

I know I know: I''m not supposed to be here, but I had to laugh, with a bit of shamefacedness on seeing my name on that list. I guess I have been posting some pretty scary things lately, (but beautifully, and exquisitely written in the King''s English naturally....hurk hurk hurk - sorry just made myself barf up a furball on that one.

) For that I do apologize. :-\ I kinda come here to get away from my life, in which there is quite a lot of .....mmm...stuff, going on right now. It''s a welcome distraction to get engrossed/riled, whatever, rather than to thrash about some of the stuff going on right now. I can see how weird and cranky I''ve been on here.

And I too am a stickler for spelling and grammar, although I know I make mistakes at times. I cringe every time I read one of my posts and see that I have a typo. And I am the queen of overly-parenthetical, I admit. But this is pretty much "speech" here, so I thunk it''s OK to write like it.

Hey there Karen,

I love your posts! Even if I didn''t agree on content, I am a fan of form.

I was actually quite bummed when I saw that you were thinking of a PS hiatus.

I do freak out after I see one of my typos as well. It happens. It''s the curse of the perfectionist.
Have a great day!! I have to wait for my sprinklers to finish so I can take a shower without scalding myself. I really do need to read the manual with that thing.

This is at the heart of the matter.

She''s only hoping somehow she can fight MI FL - that''s her only shot at almost winning.

No worries Dancing Fire. I only get annoyed when people obviously know the difference, but I wouldn't say anything to anyone anyway. But, trust me, I've been tempted.

I, too, am happy to see you came out of lurking ksinger.

Typos suck.

And she's never going to get MI or FL. I wish she'd give that up. I like how you said, "that's her only shot at almost winning."

LOL.

Miracles is totally hot. (Sorry miracles, don''t mean to sound creepy, but it''s true, you are!)

Freke''s Daily Delegate Count:

Obama
Total delegates: 1,884
super delegates: 284

Clinton
Total delegates: 1,718
super delegates: 273

Still a 166 difference with Obama still on top. And he''s added another 2 super delegates since yesterday.

(#s taken from CNN.com)

I''m an Obama supporter, but I''m to the point where I''d like to see Hillary stick with it. I think if Hill loses fair and square, her supporters will be more open to supporting Obama. Ever since they stopped going for eachothers'' jugulars and instead attacking McCain, it''s gotten a LOT better, IMO.

I concur. Think she''ll wait until someone tells her she can''t win, or do you think she''ll step down on her own after the primaries? Or do you think she''ll wait to see how they divide up the delegates from MI and FL?

I think no matter what goes on behind the scenes, it will at least look as if she stepped down all her own. It''s better for the party if it doesn''t look like she was forced out.

I desperately want to know who McCain''s VP is going to be. He/she (lol she...) could end up being our next President.

LOL *she*.

I bet he won''t pick until the Dems have it all wrapped up. He still *doesn''t know* who he''s running against. I bet he''s got two or three picks though.

Edwards is about to endorse Obama.

Thats pretty big stuff right there...Did he do it already?

He''s doing it tonight. I honestly wonder if it will be an Obama/Edwards ticket. Which I would prefer much more than Obama/Clinton.

Holy Crapola, I didn''t think Edwards would do this so early. Yet, he did!
And the beat goes on.....

BTW, my picture is in my avatar, compliments of San Diego Lady who is master avatarist.
