SHOULD I BUY THIS DIAMOND TODAY? HELP!

Hey experts! Is this diamond worth the price, and is it a good/great one? My specifications were: best cut possible, carat between 2.6-2.9, I color or better, and inclusions not too bad. They said this one is totally eye-clean...

2.57carat - $28.22K Is the cost worth these specs?

@DejaWiz could i get an opinion from you on this one? i got a bunch of pics from whiteflash, it really is eye-clean except 1 or 2 spots that are linear clouds (not feathers) from 5 inches in bright light.

Hello mrsctobe!
I will have to concur with daisygrl: I feel that the wispy clouds/feathers are noticeable.
I hate to do this, but I would urge you to consider this alternative (it's only 0.08mm smaller in diameter which won't be noticeable to probably 99.9% of humans haha), which would require bumping your budget a smidge for the bank wire price:
With the recent big jump in pricing and the global supply constraints, diamond selection is starting to dry up.

That one is nice too! Proportions/ideal scope wise, are they about equal? The inclusions may or may not bother me on the original one, and it is 3K cheaper..

Yes, they would perform indiscernibly to most eyes since Whiteflash has a very strict set of criteria for proportions and angles that all of their ACA diamonds must meet.

Thanks! I think what Ill probably do then is purchase the original 2.57 and see it for myself as to whether the inclusions bother me. If they dont, ill be saving 3K. if they do, ill get a free refund and purchase the other one you recommended. thoughts?

Great plan! You won't know for sure until you can lay your own eyes and hands on it!

This is exactly what I was going to suggest. Buy the stone and see it for yourself and if you aren't happy with it, you can exchange it. Everyone's eyesight and tolerance is different. That being said, I'm not sure you can guarantee that the one @DejaWiz posted will still be available once the SI1 is shipped to you and maybe shipped back. Will they put it on hold for you? I don't know their policies on that, so just wondering.

Great point :/ Ill have to take that into consideration for sure!
