My newest.....4.05 ct marquise, I, VS2, bought from Rare Carat. I tried to buy it from Ritani, but they refused to price match this one for some reason. Rare Carat price matched.

My very first LGD (1.77 carat emerald cut from Ritani) set in my old ER setting (EMDs in platinum from JA). Since I was resetting my ER diamond but did not want to let go of my old setting, I felt an LGD would be a good replacement stone.

This is my first lab grown diamond (and first emerald cut) purchase and I wanted opinions!

Purchased from Ritani (diamond page)

Not sure what to look for, scoured the threads here about ECs and aside from numbers/proportions/steps on & off, the main advice was to see it in person

Can you pls let me know if I should keep it or continue my search? This will go in my original ER setting (I am getting it reset by DK). Still feeling a bit sentimental about letting go of the ring my husband chose for me (on his own, nonetheless), so decided to stick an LG stone in it for the meantime and wear as a RH or travel ring.

Please me know if there are any additional photos/videos for me to take in order to evaluate it better, thank you!

Just got my pictures of my 2.01ctw five-stone from DK! I will call this a "muggle" since the center stone is an earth-mined MRB that I plucked out of a pendant but the surrounding 4 MRBs are MMD.

Hoping for some happy mail in 1-2 days

DK shipped at lightening speed and I got my happy mail. It was my first time working with them and I can definitely see myself going back for many more future projects! I had some personal concerns about the shade of yellow gold, if being set in YG would deter from the bling, comfort, and potential high profile of the ring...but so far it looks perfect and it is the wall of bling that I wanted to see on my finger.

I also misspoke on the ctw above since I omitted my 0.47ct center earth mined MRB .

Here is my 2.48 ctw five-stone ring in 18K yellow gold (estimated G color and SI1). Sized between 6.5 and 6.75 so I can wear it comfortably as a RHR alone, a stack, or on my left with some temp size adjusters (open to any recommendations of size adjusters PS-ers might have here!).

Alas, I hoped that perhaps it would look "decent" enough with my WG halo solitaire, but they are definitely not a good match together and so it will have to be worn alone until I can fund my future upgrade.

Earth-mined plucked out of this pendant (they also re-created this pendant with a larger inherited MRB at the same time this ring was made):


Then placed in center of the five stone for identification, DK did a great job sourcing four perfectly matching MMD for this ring

I have always loved moi et toi rings, regardless of the opening. So far it seems very comfortable. I will give more input once it is back from my jeweler and I can wear it more.
