Me again! With apologies for the terrible photos, haha. My pieces from Alex Park arrived today! He and his team were excellent to work with - I really like that no-nonsense no-frills service, I always feel I am getting a frank answer and trust Alex's eye/advice. He was upfront that it would take a while as business was going bonkers, and I was kept informed throughout.

1. Firstly, a 5-stone oval ring, 1.5tcw in platinum. The setting is brilliant - super super low open baskets, with shared prongs that are sort of semi-fishtail, totally unobtrusive and can barely be seen top-down. The photos are an accurate reflection of this I think! When I requested this, Alex was very backed up with orders - and as you may know he doesn't usually do customs for small/melee type stones like this. I think he heard the quote I'd received here in Australia - 2.5 TIMES the price and in WG, not plat - and took pity on me!!!

Stones obviously uncerted but E/VS, picked out from a box of a bajillion garden variety 30-pointer ovals. Alex sent me a video of the layout for my approval and I am very happy with how they are matched.PXL_20240611_033828436.jpgPXL_20240611_033816454.jpgPXL_20240611_033424650.jpg

2. Next, bezel milgrain studs in 18K WG. Stones are D VVS1/D VVS2,1.08 and 1.09ct respectively, just over 6.7mm diameter. The stones are set low, with two curved crossbars "cupping" the pavilion, jumbo backs. I am so happy with how fine the bezel edge is - an excellent match for my BGD bezel OEC pendant!
PXL_20240611_034135633.jpgPXL_20240611_033958632.jpg

3. And lastly, a simple basic 4-prong set for a friend - 1.12ct each, E VS2, blindingly brilliant and totally eclipse her mined 0.8ish tcw studs in performance.

Does anyone still buy Lightbox? They have a sale right now and I couldn’t help but pick these up. They’re the 14k white gold bezel studs and are 1cttw. These are even cheaper than the first studs I bought at Lightbox and have a higher gold weight!

Lightbox says that these diamonds are G-J in color, VS1, and are VG+ in cut. I am really bad with determining color but I think they’re either G or H. They look white to me and I only see a difference when I hold them against my D and E LGDs.

With my E color LGD ( hard to photograph):

I’ve taken a break from LGD but these are a nice little something. :) they’re really nice and sparkly!

I literally just signed the FedEx driver for this baby. I wanted a big solitaire but couldn’t justify trading on my earth grown diamond and I love that ring so much but wanted a big round in yellow gold. I can’t handle it and may never wear my original ring again. IMG_4832.jpeg

Here is my forever upgrade! CVD 2.51 F VS1. I just wanted a classic beautiful sophisticated solitaire with no pave, and a dainty tulip basket. I’m in love.

Thank you! I love it, wear it every day. It is the perfect size (though I wouldn't mind a larger one for occasional wear too!)

No, this is a "generic" antique style cut cushion, not avc or other branded cut.

Thank you - it's beautiful!

Two gorgeous rings - wow!!! :kiss2:

Four-prong, 3mm tennis bracelet in 14K WG from @paldiam on IG - I contacted them there then all subsequent communication was on WhatsApp. Uttam was patient, helpful, and excellent in communication throughout. Shipping was slow (but fully tracked) but it was the first time they'd shipped to Australia and he says he would use a different courier next time. I would absolutely work with him again in the future, he was lovely!

It's GORGEOUS - so so sparkly and very well-matched. Quoted for E/F VVS, I haven't bothered with a loupe but completely eye clean and no dead stones. A string of sparkle bombs!

3.7ct (10 points each), length just over 6" - my wrist is just over 5.5" and the fit is exactly as I wanted.

Can't get a good photo today - dark, grey, and rainy! A few snaps nonetheless, and a semi-perspective selfie as some people have asked in other threads about how different ctw tennis bracelets look on different wrist sizes...

Just picked up this custom made, 3.09 carat diamond. Finger size is 7 ish. I love the 2.7 mm shank and the claw prongs. One carat for every decade married, 31 years next month.

My first time posting anything on pricescope! So I hope I'm doing it right.

Thought I'd share:

Lab, 3.4 CT, D, VS1
Superb cut
Yellow gold 14k w side diamonds

Custom designed/made by local jeweler.

I am in love
30th wedding anniversary upgrade! 20211015_175024.jpg

I just received a 3.1 solitaire for 30 yrs of marriage too. Looks gorgeous on your young looking hands. You must have gotten married when you were 12, to still look so young after 3 decades of marital bliss

For those who have purchased a complete ring ( lab diamond in setting), who offers the nicest looking rings in your opinion?

I would definitely buy from Leela Diamonds again! 3 carat for under $1000. ( E color) .Jeweler said I picked an excellent stone, for not having seen it beforehand. Had my local jeweler create the setting with claw like prongs and I love the outcome. Shank is 2.7 mm. My only regret is that I didn’t go with the 4 carat for $400 more.

Hi @pancake my friend is looking for a tennis bracelet as well. I tried finding Paldiam on Instagram but there's a few different accounts and didn't want to send her the wrong info. Can you send the one you contacted them through just so we can be sure? Thanks!

P.s. your bracelet looks amazing and huge on your wrist. I love that you could get it custom to fit your wrist size too.
