both of mine - the 5 stone was my 50th birthday present last year and the cluster my ering

I love both of them!

Some of my babies. All unheated Ceylon. Although some are more lavendar or pale blue. I collect as many colours as possible. Got an oval violet one on the way too which I am very excited about.

I love all the various shades! The one setting is very similar in feel to the setting my color shifter is in.

Now that's what I'm talking about. can it get any better than your handful of blues? I don't know which one I like better....sigh.

Mine is very different than everybody's, as it is a very light blue-gray. It is so clean and sparky though that I had to have her. 6.49 cts with baguettes set in platinum. My first ballerina. As extra as I consider myself, unfortunately I haven't given her enough love, so I don'thave any hand shots rn.

I also have my avatar sapphire, but she's only blue under fluorescent lights.

So nice to have a thread just for our Blue Sapphire beauties! It’s my favorite colored stone and has had my heart for quite a while now. Wish I could have one in every shade of blue, but I’m happy with my little collection.
These are all my sapphire children



First is Elena, an 8ct Ceylon origin. She is fresh from a prong tune up and cleaning. The stone was weighed in the process and is officially 8.22cts.


Next is a 1.76 Ceylon sapphire three stone made by Caleb Meyer Studios. It was my something blue for my wedding.


And... a 3ct table cut sapphire in a 22ct bezel setting. I believe the stone is antique. It has an alluring iridescence. A jeweler thought that it might be Kashmir origin, but it’s certainly way off of any kind of trade ideal if so. Still, I love it.

And..A small sapphire in the sweetest denim shade in rose gold.

Lastly...A couple of blue star sapphires. The rounder of the two started my blue sapphire love.
Also a couple of bands.



This might become my favorite thread. Can’t seem to get enough of blue sapphires! Thanks everyone for sharing!

I love these paler shades!! What a beautiful shape and cut too!!

It's such a pretty shade of icy blue! I love it in the ballerina setting. You really should wear it more often!

Aww I agree thanks. Lol. But all joking aside I honestly have trouble wearing the rings I do have. My arthritic hands and knuckles and the propensity my fingers have to swell...make ring wearing challenging.

However, I am so happy to share in PSers ring wearing experiences. Glorious and Bluetiful.

Aww I understand and am sorry for your pain! My ring finger is actually a 4.5 when all is good but I have to have at least a size 5 to get over my knuckle and to handle the swelling. I totally understand but I wouldn't be able to handle not wearing Bubulah!
