Show Me Your Lavender/Periwinkles!!!!!

My lilac/periwinkle sapphire ring is here!

Center purchased off instagram from @Desertrose and the ring setting made by DanM.

The side diamonds were taken from a diamond platinum ring I was taking apart and I think they fit perfectly with this sapphire in that it's not a perfect square, but elongated slightly. I'm fact, all three stones have a very slight added length to them.

The sapphire has a hint of lilac but mainly appears periwinkle and reminds me of ice. The yellow gold brings out a little more saturation to the sapphire and pairs well with the high colored white diamonds.

The finished ring is such a classicly simple and sophisticated ring yet paired with such an off-brand color of sapphire creates this visual interest. The resulting piece is such understated sweetness.
Its such a perfect travel ring for me or a RHR, perfect for days when I just need a lil' somethin somethin.

This is all I've got set right now, apart from a necklace. The unset ones are these, which I hope to say soon-ish.

Pretty @voce ! All gorgeous!

A lovely little trillion spinel I got from Yvonne Raley (hand photo is most accurate for color). It’s the most perfect blend of purple and blue for my tastes. As ever, I’m agonizing over how on earth I want to set it.

Wanted to post the necklace and a better picture of this pillow ring. In more diffused natural light, the sapphire looks mouthwatering to me.

Been playing around and plotting another ring and possibly a pendant with these loose stones. I don't know why the pictures are coming out like this, the oval halo is a lot bluer and is my HG color and my favorite stone. I'll do a ring with the top loose stone and the bottom one is maybe going to end up in a pendant.

Here's a few. The necklace is light amethyst, 3 of the rings are tanzanite, and the one on the middle finger is iolite.

@Bluemuse and @Horsegirl76 Thank you both kindly! I’m in the process of trying a find a colored stone band to match!

Are you thinking periwinkle/blue sapphire and diamond band? That will be a fun search.
So many possibilities! I’ve collected lots of bands over the years trying out different combinations. I guess you’ll know what works when you see it. Good luck with the search!

Yup! I’m hoping to get an emerald cut sapphire and diamond alternating band. They are hard to find though so I may have to cave and ask my jeweler to make me one, although I’d prefer a vintage/antique band if possible!

I think this only looks lavender in bright lighting. A light-medium toned very sparkly purple spinel.

Thanks! Maybe I should sort out few of my lavenders one day.

Ok @elle_71125 I was going to do this later in the week, but I couldn't resist. Here's my new ring among her purple family.

Index finger: Oregon Holly agate.
Middle finger: spinels.
Ring finger: sapphires.
Pinky finger: amethyst.

I have trouble deciding which stone I like best, but for the setting, the latest ring definitely takes the cake among these.

Thank you for sharing...they all look amazing! I love seeing all the varying hues...even in one color family. I really love the juicy purple of the amethyst and isn’t it just the cutest in a heart shape. So happy to see that new spinel ring fits in perfectly with your purple family.

@voce I love the new setting! So gorgeous with that bright lavender stone!
