We don''t exchange gifts for Valentine''s Day, just cards, roses and balloons.

That''s OK because my birthday was yesterday

My Vday gift doesn''t sparkle, but it does light up. a 26inch LCD flat screen for my bedroom with built in dvd player. Now I can watch cashmere mafia from the comfort of my own bed. LOL And I bought DH the chest of drawers that goes underneath it--it matches our bed!

Well, no jewelry (but that''s alright really - a local jewelry store is going out of business and earlier this week I bought myself a pair of Caroline Ballou 18k gold/amethyst/peridot earrings and a matte finish 18k and hammerset diamond band) but my man made me dinner. Pan-seared chicken wrapped around aparagus, arugula, prosciutto, and parmesan, oven roasted fingerling potatoes, sauteed pears, and salad with toasted pecans, feta, and viniagrette. Godiva chocolates for dessert. Diamonds are great, but while this was a bit more elaborate than usual, he still cooks pretty close to this level, at least 50 percent of the time. What a lucky girl I am!

How Fun! Nice pics everyone. Looks like we alot of lucky ladies on pricescope had a nice valentines. Bling or flowers! It is all good. As long as one is remembered in some form ....that is what counts.

I have been wanting a charm bracelet for awhile. I use to have one as a kid and now my oldest who is 16 wears it once in awhile with all it''s worn and tarnished charms now.

I have commented on Meredith Viera''s on the today show off and on to my honey over the last while. It is just a thin gold bracelet with a heart that is engraved hanging from it.

Well he bought me one!!! It has a heart hanging from it with my initial in the middle of the heart. He was so excited because he found my initial in the same script that my initial on my necklace he purchased for me years agao has. The necklace was my first gift ever from him and it has a cross and my initial hanging from it. I wear it all the time and it feels like an extension of me I am so attached to it.

To top it all off he purchased two dozen roses. He said the girl that rang up the flowers for him at the flower shop asked him if he always buys roses for his lady by the 2 dozen. He was feeling pretty much like he had hit a home run as far as scoring in the gift department goes for valentines

I have to agree. I don''t have a pic..sorry. But it''s all very nice.....

I Looooove Cashmere Mofia!

I thought that my new 0.93 baby (wearing on my right-hand now) was my early Valentine''s present, but DH surprised me with flowers and a Tiffany lock that I''ve been wanting for my charm bracelet!

I owe him - I only gave him a card...

Beautiful gifts ladies! My hubby surprised me with the SI ultrasonic jewelry cleaner!! Woohoo! I''ve been wanting one, but just never went up there to get it! He knows just how to get to my heart! Jewelry and accessories!

Angel, I love that bracelet. I wear mine every day. It''s perfect for casual day wear and it dresses up well also!

FI sent me flowers at the office but he also surprised me with this. He''s traveling this week, he gets back tonight, so we might do dinner this weekend. He''s getting his gifts tomorrow night.

Wow, Diamond Quest, those earrings are gorgeous! If you know, do you mind saying where they''re from?
I don''t mind saying at all. They are from Tara Fine Jewelry.

We normally don''t celebrate Valentine''s Day...I thought for sure that we weren''t going to do anything although we were going to exchange "small presents." I got him a new wallet because the one he had is falling apart.

My FI, on the other hand, really surprised me. He took a half-day off of work without telling me. He ended up buying me a running shirt that I''ve wanted and cooking dinner for me! I have to emphasize that the only thing he knows how to cook is cereal, so it was a huge surprise to come home to find a lasagna dinner. It wasn''t bad for his first time cooking.

The biggest surprise though, was that he picked up a diamond bezel pendant from Quest. Here''s the story...my grandparents generously gave me a diamond necklace and ring set when I turned 18 (ten years ago). I don''t have the exact specs, but I know that both diamonds were .20 carats each (the ring is also flanked by two smaller diamonds as well). I occassionally wore both throughout the years. However, I don''t typically wear rings and found that I did not like the setting the necklace was in. I toyed with the idea of turning them into earrings, but ultimately decided to keep the ring as is and reset the necklace.

The necklace was in a tension-like setting that did not suit the diamond well -- it was way too much metal for the diamond. About two weeks ago, I dropped it off at Quest to be reset into a bezel pendant (I was inspired by the bezels posted in PS and the positive reviews of Quest). I paid a downpayment and they told me it would be ready in about 7 to 10 days. Well, my fiance plotted with them, and ended up picking the necklace up yesterday, in the afternoon, and paid for the rest of the resetting!

I love the necklace SO much. Quest did an amazing job...it is so delicate and perfect for me. I don''t have pictures right now, but will try to post them later today.

Here''s the thread of the original pieces (pictures): https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/dilemma-about-set-ring-necklace-from-grandparents.75752/

No bling, but I got a VERY nice gift nonetheless. DH got me a Garmin nuvi navigation unit.

No Bling here too, but I did get new Red Croc Watch Straps for my Franck Muller, Matching Red Double Bracelet from CCSkye and a Hermes "Kiss" Charm for my new Birkin.

DKS....Does the blank post mean you didn''t get anything for Valentine''s Day? I didn''t get anything either, except for picking up my new 5 stone ring. Hubby and I didn''t exchange gifts.

I got a seatbelt purse made from recycled seatbelts! It really is neat and very pretty.
