Aw thanks cflutist! There are six and are about 10 points each. Here is a side view where you can see the yellow gold scroll work. It's the same on the side of the pendant.

I have to admit that I cried a little when I opened the box.

Specs as follows:
Center Stone: 1.01ct
Color: Y-Z
Clarity: VS1
Measurements: 5.96 x 5.94 x 3.72 mm
Polish: VG
Symmetry: G
Fluorescence: MEDIUM BLUE
Side/Halo Stones (40): .49ct
Color: E-F
Clarity: VS

This ring was originally sized 4.5, and all of the hand shots that I received were that of someone with a 4.5 size finger wearing the ring. I was nervous when I ordered that I wasn't going to get the coverage I wanted, since I wear a ginormous 7.5.

Needless to say, I was worried over nothing. It's just as I wanted it to be.





I am SO pleased. SO. PLEASED.

@mellowyellow -- no cup! I'll try to post a pic of the setting. The prongs & stems are actually rose gold, which I think helps bring out the color in the stone.

@scarlett -- I'm curious about cups too! I've actually only seen a few rings designed with a cup, so I'm interested to know too!

I don't think there are any rules as to when to use a cup. It is used to enhance the color just like rose gold is used to enhance pink diamonds. The only thing about cups is to make sure they are not closed cups since that would make it impossible to clean the diamond.
