dunno yet... the asscher is probably for me... some type of men's ring... the big EC i'm thinking either a 3 stone with step cut traps or 5 stone with step cut traps and tapered bullets... maybe an all yellow 3 stone ring in yellow gold?

They are smaller stones than what the picture would lead you to beleive (top to bottom)
0.17 fancy yellowish orange shield
0.10 fancy deep purplish pink oval
0.12 fancy grey round
0.35 fancy yellow oval
0.14 fancy orange round
0.05 fancy greenish blue round
0.40 light brown pink pear

DH and I are fast approaching our 20th wedding anniversary and I begged him for a diamond. My original ering was a 1/3ct sapphire with 2 point diamond sides. He was a poor grad student and I was fresh out of college, so of course, not much money was to be had. But I loved the sapphire all the same.
So, fast forward to 2012, and I'm ready to upgrade to this 1.22ct fancy yellow diamond in a Ritani setting. I love colored stones, so the fancy yellow was an easy sell for me. Thanks to PS for allowing me to show off my bling!

Well, I did it. I finally bought a red diamond. I was going to wait, but then I had a wake up call.
You see, I've also had my eye on a blue pear and one day I was visiting it on its home website and it had sold! I panicked! Someone had bought "my" blue pear! What if someone bought "my" red diamond before I did!?!

So I bought it. And here it is!

Officially it's Fancy Intense Purplish Red. 0.40 ct. VS1

These are the two vendor pics. The top one is closer to what it looks like in daylight or fluorescent light. But you should see it in incandescent or sunlight!! Red, red, red! The fire is incredible!

Sometime soon I'll try and do a photo shoot here. Not that I'm up to Kenny's standards.

Oh, and they managed to find me another blue pear, which I also bought. And the first one went to a good home (it's in a nice halo now!).

And yes, they all started life as graphite! But I hope you enjoy the pics anyway.

What beauties - all of them! The first diamond ring I saw that made me go weak in the knees was a haloed pink oval. Still one of my all time favorites. Also love the yellows! And every other color really! Thanks for sharing your fantastic collections.
