Show off your colored diamonds!

Gasp!!! That video is amazing! That yellow is so intense and vibrant. I can't wait to see your handshots (please do a full SMTB spread!).

Thank you! I have to still collect it..I will post pictures:-))

Beautiful ring! That shade of yellow is stunning!

New to pricescope-I have two pretty pink diamonds-they were in my old wedding ring (divorced 4 years ago)-have wanted to reuse them somehow so about 6 months ago I had the white center diamond removed and replaced with a 1 carat greenish brown diamond-not in love with it but makes my pretties wearable-they are .12 pears, fancy intense purplish pink-the band is platinum

Should have taken a better picture-I was trying to match the angle of a pic I had taken earlier that day-while picking up a watch a my jeweler who made the ring and from whom I bought a the diamonds, he had me try on this $95K stunner just for fun :-)

Thanks so much Confection! Before I discovered pearls, I collected fcds!

Now I'm slowly getting them set!

And a correction - the inspiration for my diamond/pearl pendant came from pinkjewel's gorgeous fireball necklace!

My double bezel split shank .72 ct FLY diamond in 18kt yellow gold by DBL.
It´s a RHR I wear everyday. I love it!

I adore this ring! Now I wish that I would have set my yellow in a bezel  The split shank bezel is very unique. Please share some hand shots if you have any.

Here are the fancy colored diamonds I have been collecting to eventually set as a pendant.

Wow indeed! May we have some stats? That oval pink and the more vivid round yellow are to die for!
I just got my two pinks. I'll try to get some photos before I send them off to be set.

They are smaller stones than what the picture would lead you to beleive (top to bottom)
0.17 fancy yellowish orange shield
0.10 fancy deep purplish pink oval
0.12 fancy grey round
0.35 fancy yellow oval
0.14 fancy orange round
0.05 fancy greenish blue round
0.40 light brown pink pear

I love your pair!

A few more yellows and a new color............pink!

Aww thanks cflutist and OVincze!

Here is my Tiffany Fancy Yellow / VS2 .80 ct modified brilliant cushion:

This led to purchasing a 8.94 ctw parcel of 45 Fancy Intense round diamonds (SI clarity) .20s which produced
a 7.15 ctw bracelet using 36 of the stones:

The remaining 9 FIY diamonds went into a pendant:

I've been aware of PS for a couple of years, since searching for an engagement stone, but this is my first post.

I wanted to share my stones and settings because I can't think of a better forum in the world for this...

First a fancy greyish green 0.71ct with 2x 10pt clear diamonds. The green is incredibly difficult to photograph and has both flour- and phosphorescence. Under artificial white-light it looks quite colourless.

These were set into the custom platinum engagement ring shown 2 years ago.

(...to be continued)

Next a specially collected set of colours to match the 4 seasons:
0.11ct fancy intense blue for winter.
0.14ct fancy intense pink for spring.
0.32ct fancy vivid orange-yellow for summer.
0.16ct fancy deep orangy pink for autumn.
(none have any fluorescence)

The blue (probably my favourite) looks a bit dull under the lighting conditions (in fact they all do), so I add another blue picture :twirl:

These were set into a custom 9ct gold / white-gold pendant which arrived today

(and another picture to try different light)

Sorry for the picture quality but I hope you get the gist of these pieces, and I hope somebody gets some enjoyment from seeing them. (Somebody besides me and my wife that is!)

I absolutely love the way you used those diamonds! The design packs a lot of punch for those little dazzlers

I have to give full credit to the jewellers here... I had a bunch of ideas for how I wanted to set the stones but none was really working and then the designer came up with this. I'm really pleased how it turned out!
Glad you like it too Niel. :)

Oooh yummy! HUGE CONGRATS! Love your FCDs, there is only one thing better than a gorgeous FCD, several of them! Me loving the chunky pears as usual but all of them are gorgeous. You also used my favorite shape. Actually I love the color too of your deep orange-pink but could not pick a favorite, the pink has a real nice cut, the orangey-yellow has delish color and of course a blue is always far out. The design is cool too.

Thanks for your great comments OVincze! I'm very keen on the pear cut too BUT it's so difficult to get them matching, therefore I think the goldsmith has made a fantastic job in the setting.
It's interesting that the smallest stone by weight (Blue) is longer than the 2 heavier pinks because it's so shallow and narrow. Really was a headache getting them all together! :wall:
I got lucky with the intense pink because it was planned to be recut down to a smaller vivid - that might just have pushed it out of my budget

Hi toBnrug
Your pendent is very stylish. Your FCDs are also lovely. Really Gorgeous.
