If you count all the diamonds I own, including a bunch I had before I came over here I'm probably well over 50. Most of mine are between .25 and 1 ct, decent but not ideal cut. If you count just super-ideals I have 3 pairs of earrings, my 3 stone pendant, the .84 ACA that started this thread, my 1.57ct Eightstar, the .80 brown diamong that Brian Gavin recut, (on it's way to WF now) and a .46ct D-SI1 I snagged off ebay recently. So yes, I need your pear!!!!

Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate them! I know our rings & jewelry tastes are so personal to each of us, and GOG worked so long and hard w/ me designing/manufacturing this set, so it means a lot when its originality is noticed.

Having gone through your resetting saga, I know you appreciate the importance of the tiniest of details, all the way down to the placement of the prongs (mine are 6 prongs w/ 3 along each side and none at the points to maintain the outline of the center stone).

My oval is 9.06mm X 6.04mm. When I was looking for it, I only cared that it had a beautiful faceting pattern w/ a faint bowtie. When this became available it's spread was just an added bonus.

It kills me that my cell phone can't capture the personality of the rings and I wish I could post the video that the jeweler made for me. Meanwhile, I'm practicing different photo techniques w/ my cell and I THINK I got a decent pic (made a tent out of Kleenex ) that shows the oval and flow of the bands a little better.

I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm having fun trying LOL !!
