Show us your Antique/Vintage and Reproduction Rings!

This is a Christmas gift for my mother in law, who casually mentioned that she'd like to have a blue spinel ring someday. This is 9k with Birmingham assay marks. Lab spinel, but those shoulders and gallery are so sweet! One of those gifts that are hard to give away.

I received this 3 stone OEC ring for Christmas. Forgive me, but my arthritis is so bad right now I can't even take a pic of it. I will do that at some point. I have a nice pic from the vendor in the meantime. The OECs are very high colour, although the sizes are inconsistent at .35, .30 and .20. Unless it was meant to be graduated. They all exhibit beautiful flowery patterns and small open culets. Ring is 14k white gold and the small stones are all single cut. It's very blingy and bright but of course is most gorgeous in low lights.
ACK, the size of this pic. I don't know how to make it smaller. I'm on a really old laptop.

Absolutely gorgeous @lyra!:love::love: It must sparkle so beautifully! I hope it gives you much joy and happiness!

Yeah I’m with @Jimmianne - the bigger the photo the better! What a lovely OEC ring @lyra! Hope your arthritis settles down soon so you can post handshots ando hope you get lots of sunshine too to show off the fire - bet those stones are sparklebombs!
@CHRISTY-DANIELLE did you end up giving that lovely spinel ring to your MIL? I hope she appreciates it!

@foxinsox Yes, I did! I sent the ring with a heartfelt card thanking her for all she's done for me over the years. She called to tell me she loved the ring, it was a complete surprise, it fit her perfectly and my card made her cry (in a good way!) . I call that a success!

Wow, this is beautiful @lyra
And I will chime in with the rest of the lovely posters...bigger pics are better for this old gal's eyesight. The better to appreciate those delicious chunky monkey facets...Swoon!:kiss2:

My .28 target platinum ring, size 4.5

This was my push present, my e ring is a modern RB solitaire and I love that I have two very different styles to wear!

My first true antique!! A total Ebay impulse buy, but no regrets  It was even worth the auction stress sweats.

Blue sheen moonstone with a rosie halo and tiny delicate milgrain. Pure ethereal joy. (AND big enough to fit on my large fingers :) ) I've had it for about 20 minutes, but already in love!

Really love this ring :love::love: Beautiful moonstone and the setting is gorgeous! :appl: fabulous find!

Saw an art deco ring I loved at the pop up in Santa Monica last week. The oec was dreamy, but I hesitated. Luckily I got in touch with the Moonstoned (seller) and was able to have it sent to me. The emeralds have seen better days, but I'm hoping I can get new ones. I love this thing though!

Yaaaayyy! It arrived! I feel like I didn't fully appreciate until after the fact how cool the square gemstone halo/target was. You don't see that much. Plus the bright little OEC and some great filigree.

Glad it worked out!

Yeah, that was my thought laying in bed that night. The oec was so sparkly and vibrant and when do you ever see one with a square emerald halo!? I'm so glad I bought this. (And thank you for putting your young eyes on it and checking it out for me!)

Wow, this ring is fabulous!
And I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who lays in bed thinking about jewelry:lol::lol::lol:

@fioratura Love:kiss2: and love:kiss2:! Lucky lady! I would love either. ..a cluster and/or a shield, both on my wish list! Yours are both gorgeous examples!

Big amethyst with seed pearls and corner orange blossom motifs. The ring in WG and the orange blossoms are rose gold. Probably bought around 1920 by my grandfather for his then fiancée, my grandmother.

Can someone please tell me more about this ring? I am new to antique rings. I just got it today and need to get it appraised to see if it’s for real. There is no marking on the shank. We did the gold test and it passed. Thank you.

Hi all,
Been a lurker for a while and want to say how great this forum is!
I'm Rachel from the Netherlands. Unfortunately there aren't much antique rings here. (The ones i like haha)
I love antique rings and recently i purchased a sapphire cabochon with tiny diamonds. Seller said it's from the Art Noveau era. There are no hallmarks inside the ring.
The diamonds are single rose cuts.
Please see attach pictures :)
