I just received my reset eternity from David.

I had bought this platinum Scott Kay band preowned as a 1.46ctw. David's appraisal says 1.75ctw in 5.5g platinum. Yay on bigger carat weight!

The original band, while low set, the prongs caught on everything. David reset the stones in a Tiffany Legacy style and it is 3.5mm wide. The band is a bit wide for my ACC but I knew that would be the case. It is perfect on its own or with a couple stackers.

Its really not tight IRL but I cannot take finger pics to save my life without looking like sausages.

I've never done anything like this before in regards to custom ordering a setting, I am in England, DK is in LA obviously so everything is done via email.

How often did you guys email him with what you wanted or little tweaks? I don't want to annoy him by spamming every time I think of something, but I do want to communicate things.

Can someone walk me through what kind of communication etc you had with him please.

Hello Fantspants, I currently wrapped up a project with DK earlier this week. We emailed back and forth about twice a week during the entire process (about 30 emails total), he's a really awesome guy to work with. Any additional details my GF added or took of the design I just forwarded to him and he changed the CAD. I also called twice and spoke to Amy, she was a pleasure to speak to as well. Don't be intimidated by the idea of emailing frequently, if anything it will send you in the right direction to get exactly what you are looking for. I was afraid of spamming them as well, but Amy definitely reassured me that they prefer customers emailing them ANY changes immediately rather than not say anything. I hope this helped you out, if you're interested his email is: [email protected] ; Trust me you will not regret getting in touch with him. I'm anxiously awaiting my GF's completed ring and I really couldn't have gone through it without his help.

My sapphire is 3.42ct. The ring is 14k white and yellow gold with .45cttw G-VS diamonds, hand engraved. This is exquisite. I'll definitely have more made by David Klass.. this is simply breath taking.

I started a custom setting project with DK a few months ago, and although it took a little longer than expected to get the specifics down, I finally received photos of the finished ring and I couldn't be any more satisfied with his work and superb customer service. I haven't set an exact date down for the proposal but I'll definitely come back with more in the future!

I didn't see this! I'm sorry. The sapphire is 3.42ct. 9.37x7.26x5.55 and the diamond weight is just under half carat I believe. It's beautifully delicate. 14k white and yellow gold.
