This. Definitely.

This. Definitely.

Thanks so much ! Sorry I didn't see this, I haven't been on PS for a while :) I do have a post with lots of pics of my rhr. It is my favorite oec that I have owned to date...I just love it!!!! The post was actually made by my friend, I bought this ring from her :) She took much better photos than I could have lol. This is a fun story because I actually went to David's shop to scope the ring out for her before she ever saw it and fell in love with it and lucky for me, after wearing it for a while, she decided to upgrade and go for a dream stone she found and I got this one!!! Here's the link. I will mention that EGL has varied wildly on color for me with the oecs I've had certed by them, I trust GIA colors much more, they are far more consistent and this stone I would bet money would be a GIA J, it is super duper white. Whiter than all my GIA K oecs and as white as my GIA J's and literally 2 shades whiter from both side and face up than other EGL J's I have owned...this certed an EGL J which is crazy because it's 2 shades whiter than a recent oec I bought that is an EGL I color.......though I'm never selling it so I don't care about umounting it just to get a cert to verify color lol. My eyeballs are happy with how white and bright this is lol:

Tanga back view.jpg Tanga [4].jpg

I'm afraid I don't remember if I posted this before because I'm not here very often anymore. In any case, David made this for me for my birthday last year. I had the Tanga garnet (7.5 mm) from Barry and I was holding on to it until I found just the right setting. David hit the nail on the head with this beauty. The yellow gold is buttery and rich looking and the diamonds are David's G VS. Even the back is pretty.

STUNNING! :appl::appl::appl:
The yellow gold looks perfect with this stone and I really like the details on this pendant.

This is my new piece. I don't open it until Monday but here's the shot from DK's Instagram. It's a tourmaline with a diamond pave bow in white gold.

I Loved that on IG!! I thought it was unique and gorgeous. How did you think of it?

Thank you!! The diamond bow was actually a promise ring/anniversary present from my husband when we were dating. They were my first diamonds. But I am super hard on my jewelry so after a few years, the ribbon ends were getting bent. I decided that I would love to put the bow in a pendant to keep it safer and I love antique style so my first thought was the Victorian bow and heart motif. I love the engraving too. I think David did a wonderful job with interpreting my inspiration.

It’s lovely!

Emerald studs to go with our emerald pendant.

The studs sparkle so much I had to put them in the shade to take a half way decent photo. :))

gorgeous!!! Do you have an earshot? And what are the measurements of the emeralds? These are so amazing!

Thought I'd add a couple of downwards/face up shots of my DK set.

- Solitaire - 3.61ct I VS2 with diamond in donut and in back of band.

Eternity - 2.68ctw, stones ideal cut, G/H

Set is in 18kt yellow gold.

ETA Center stone is from Blue Nile - not a Signature cut - just one from their regular stock list.

I just started a project with David and all these photos got me soooo excited! Yay!

@goldenfire the emeralds are 2.4 ctw and each measures 6.5x6.5x4.8. The diamonds are 1.0 mm in diameter.

I don't yet have an earshot but here's another photo

Here is my 1.24 ctw 5 stone trellis reset project, size 6.75 for reference. The stones are from a pendant my MIL gifted me. SimoneDi recommended David and I am thrilled with the outcome. He estimates they are 3mm L SI2-I1. I haven’t looked at them under a loupe and am not going to, I need to love them just how they are and can’t easily see inclusions so I’m leaving it alone. I was shocked when he told me they were an L, I’ve never seen in person lower than an H so I must not be too color sensitive as they look just a little warm to my eye. These are warmer and the cut and clarity very different than what I’m used to but they are set so beautifully and I just love them. The setting David made is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t change anything. I work in healthcare and need it to be low set and the prongs not to get caught on anything when I’m wearing gloves. It’s absolutely perfect and so comfortable. My MIL is thrilled and I’m going to love wearing it. These are my glamour shots and a few of my own although I am awful at hand shots.

That is a simple, contemporary, and elegant setting, and it's extraordinarily beautiful....well done!!!

I just received my latest band from David, which was my first experience going custom with him. I’m thrilled with the results and can’t say enough about how easy he was to work with, not to mention his fast turn-around on this project. I think from my first email to receiving the finished product was less than a month!

A big thanks to @skydiamond88 for sharing her new Cartier cactus band; I loved it the moment I saw it and knew it was the design I had been looking for to pair with my other stackers. The changes I asked David to make were to use the same height and width of his flower band that I already owned, to use single-cut melee (to go with my e-ring’s vintage vibe), and to give it a brushed finish. He also made it 16 flowers (instead of 15) to align perfectly with the flower band.

Without further ado, here’s my simple but beautiful new stacker!

Oh my! I am just now seeing this post. Your reset project came out so beautifully. I am so happy for you! Your MIL was so sweet to give you the diamonds and now you have a stunning ring! Enjoy it and wear it in good health always!

David just completed two more projects for me (this is my "project completion" year) and I'm very happy with the finished pieces. First is a band set with yogo sapphires in white gold that I had made for stacking. And next is my little M color antique pear set in 18k YG with two small OEC's for side stones. I thought engraving the bezels would make it a bit different than anything I already had and give the pear which is only .83 cts a bit more substance. I'm very happy with both of them and David was, as usual, very easy to work with and very reasonable.

I know this is a really REALLY old post, but can you tell me if the YG 3 stone pear/OEC has a satin finish or if it’s just regular 18k YG and the engraving is what makes it look different. I’m trying to decide between 14k and 18k and regular or satin finish. It is absolutely stunning!!! DKs work never disappoints.

Hi,
no there is not a satin finish. Just the engraving and it's 18k.
