I’ve been on a major green kick lately. If you said, show me your red, um, well…,crickets.

All are green garnets.

Love that you wear your DH's birthstone, @autumngems! So sweet.

What is your stone, @Taylorbug!? Such a pretty ring.

That heart is so beautimaful, @T L!

A bit obvious, but here's my emerald (isle). I jettisoned the other one!

Happy St. Paddy's day, all!! I'm 100% Italian and an agnostic, but I still love this holiday.
OMG, that's lovely!!!!

Hi I'm new here, and I love what I'm seeing, any chance I may get some feedback on my loves these are all unheated set in platinum, that is what makes them similar although they are all different and unique in their own style and origin, also there's only one ruby in the mix the rest are, yes you guessed correctly, Sapphires!!! Hello there and welcome!! All really beautiful pieces you've got there. You may want to start a new post in the Colored Gemstones or Show Me the Bling forums so everyone can enjoy and comment on your lovely rings.

I love the two in the back the most, swoon!

I saw this thread a bit late, but I love green...

This is half a trapiche emerald, with the axis set E-W. It has a magic soft velvety glow. (Posted before)

The moral: tsavorites sparkle, emeralds glow.

Yeah, I've been around awhile. I am considering this Panjshir beauty. Screenshot_20220317-113020_Chrome.jpg
Wow! So bright and glowy!

The emerald cut ring and pendant came from the Coscuez mine in the Muzo district. The studs and round cut ring were MIL's, so I don't know origin on them.IMG_20220313_170300181~2.jpg

Stunning!!! That emerald cut emerald is amazing!!!

What a collection, @stracci2000! =)

Thanks! I bought the two Coscuez emeralds from my Columbian hair dresser. I have the papers for them, stating mine origin.
So hard to photograph! And the color is much more vibrant than the cell phone camera can capture.
The round stone MIL ring is cut real shallow, so it has a weird window, but the color is good.

Trying to show more of the glow...
It's really hard to get them all looking good at once!

Oh there is SO MUCH freaking glow I can imagine how amazing it must be in real life!!!

From the mall
It does actually look better than it photographs

i really love green sapphires - i love this shade of green but i didn't know i could do soooo much much better because i didn't know you all yet
I brought it with my inheritance as a reward for being brave and riding in the hearse with mum on the way to the cemetery (i was inspired by Prince Charles ridding with the Queen mum)

Anyway one day - after all my other projects - maybe i will replace it with a better green saphire
It went on sale for about half price not that long after i brought it
i hadn't yet learnt to never pay full price down the mall
Im still not over it yet but i am getting there

What a beautiful sentiment, my friend. Big hugs to you... that IS brave. Best wishes for your continued healing. The ring is lovely!

Emeralds are THE worst to photograph, @stracci2000! I know that if they look good in pix, they must be extraordinary in person!!

Ok ok
excuse my earlier post
I should have done a spoiler on it
I wanted to shear the sentiment of my ring rather than its inadequacies :lol-2:

Now im going loud and proud Paddy's day green
i do love this one
its just silver but its perfect for a peridot
I only decently got this sized 20220318_205755.jpg

I only own one green, but it's my everyday "today" because I basically never take it off.
The reason it's so special to me is because it was designed by my husband and custom made for me for my 30th birthday. The pendant houses a small (about half a carat) emerald.

And the inspiration? Well, the inspiration is she:

Sadly she passed away last April, after generously bestowing upon us 10 years of happiness, love and heart-attack-inducing cuteness.
