Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

Want to share a really sweet Victorian emerald and tourmaline ring from a trusted IG seller. I think she’s asking $830 but may be able to get a discount. 18k, size 7.5.IMG_0402.png

Those look like Chinese characters to me. Can you get a closer shot of it vertically? The first character looks like 天, which is "Sky" or "Heaven," but I can't make out the 2nd one (looks stylized).

It looks lovely on you!

I asked my Chinese friend and she said:
"The first word means sky/nature. The second one means made/accomplished. Two words together means nature made or made from nature"

@Mreader and @NeciaKH the characters are Chinese. They are the name of the jeweler Tin Sing. 天成. They do not sell anything in platinum so the 900 is for gold, purity of 900 parts of 1000 .

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am simply blown away by the knowledge and generosity we have in this group. Knowing a bit of the backstory makes this beautiful bracelet even more meaningful to me. With the transitional cut stones, I bet this piece was made in their earlier days. TRR lists it as 22k gold with 14K white gold accents, so the 900 would make sense for the 22 k (when I looked it up on google it said 21.6K). Thank you all!

Have we talked about this lovely brooch yet? I'm taking it off my wishlist because I just don't need another brooch/pendant situation, but someone should grab it, or at least keep an eye on it for when the price starts to fall.

Rita has the matching earrings - just sayin’ ❤️

@Mreader I got one almost identical only mine is 2.8mm and this is 2.6mm. It's in the mail

Awesome! Did you also get it from TRR? This one’s a really good price and it’s 4 g which is a good weight. A lot of times these bands are very very light.

@Mreader yep and it looks identical, which is strange. Mine didn't have the weight listed, so I'll check it at home when I get it.

Please tell me someone here snagged this!

I had a friend looking at this bracelet. I hope the purchaser took a very close look at the center stone…

I don't know what it would cost to replace the missing melee stone or if this is a fair price, but I've been watching this ring for a while and it just dropped to 40% off. It's $1167, 10.7 grams in 18k rose gold, size 7.5, and I just think it's really fun.

This is fantastic. I don’t even notice the missing melee which would be negligible to replace if you even wanted to.

Definitely unique. Do you think it’s an antique? It’s certainly got a lot of charm!

I don’t think it’s antique, I think it’s repro. But yes very charming.

Thanks for this info! Very interesting, as the piece is incredibly well executed with very high quality diamonds and gold (per the previous posts on it). I had no idea about luxury jewelry houses from Singapore.

Not sure if you can see it on the centre stone but here it is.

An inclusion/crack. I’m not sure what I’m looking at- how extensive is it….Not sure price of bracelet but that’s a lotta diamond. Depending on price I might ignore it. Probably natural inclusion.

The bracelet was almost 13k for 7-8 ct. So a good price for those big stones but the concerning thing to me is that she said the stone was VS or SI. That big feather makes the stone and I1 or lower imo.

I’m seeing three different spots and I can’t tell if it’s the same feather branching out or three different things

I snagged this on Rita's last buying trip, in case anyone has any reservations regarding buying from Rita... don't. She's a fairy godmother.

So, I wonder if the middle diamond was replaced at some point. It looks slightly warmer than its neighbors. But would be hard to replace such a thing. The cracks are inclusions, I think.

To be honest that price is very very good for an antique all old diamond convertible bracelet/necklace in original box (it looks like), If middle diamond is est J/K others are lighter I would have considered this one seriously! Ignore the inclusions and wear it like a queen. Moving around in that you’d never notice the inclusions IMO, it would be just lush.

Also look at the sweet necklace extensions. They have little old cuts interspersed on the metal. Nice all around… imo
