It is tempting, isn't it? And my experience has been they've taken offers of 15-20% off. That makes it in the $1600 range, which I think is a pretty good price.

Here’s one from a vendor lulu_ma pointed me to, from another thread.

The size of the two side diamonds and their crown heights look good to me! Chunky likely fiery. Not a huge bargain but looks like a true antique.

Ok folks. I made an offer for $1600, and they countered with $1719. I need to behave myself, and this is my sign to step away, so if anyone else wants it, have at it!! In all fairness, I still think it's a great price, and I think it will be a lovely stone IRL. I've actually been watching it for months, so will be slightly sad if it sells, but there are always more diamonds out there. :)

So they offered about 14% off? You would think they would have at least gone to 15%. Odd that they came up with that figure.

Yeah, I bought a ring from them in October, and they accepted my offer of 20% off list price, so who knows?
