Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

Anyone looking for a well priced snake ring in a bigger size 12?

Idk how I feel about this sale method but if anyone wants to go shoot their shot…

This came back up as available this morning and I snagged it!

Oh cool - that was bought and then returned. It is so weird how sometimes the return seems to take forever!

They really do seem to take a while. Hoping I’m as in love with it in person!

Is it just me? I feel like the price range suggested is really high for the specs and current market. I have purchased from him before (custom piece), but I probably would not buy loose stones from him (I did buy loose stones from him to go into my custom ring, but I feel like his prices are higher than others right now for larger stones especially), but I would recommend him for custom designs if you like his aesthetic.

Putting it out there that I’m looking for an Edwardian era Rose Cut diamond and platinum eternity band, under the current $3,000-$4,000 going price. Diameter 2.5mm ish. (Not too tiny). I spotted one from a French antique vendor and didn’t snag it because it would have been too big. But now I’ll take any leads. Also websites, vendors, etc, I’m thinking this can only be found in France. I’ve seen a few half eternities with white gold but I’m allergic to that, but would consider if nothing shows up. I’m a size 6.25 but don’t care about size.

Leads or websites/vendors/resources to searching would be appreciated.

@NeciaKH If a seller expects me to guess a good price and compete with others, I'm out. That's why we have ebay.

Here’s a French Victorian one (sorry it’s not Edwardian)

Edit to say I missed you are looking for platinum…

I don’t mind buying on Instagram and have had success with Gilded Lane and I would buy from Dolly. GL has done auctions too but the bidding is in the comments. This type of blind bidding seems odd for Insta. He shared another video and it really seems like a terrible cut. Isn’t that a fisheye?

Is the cut on this one pretty typical for a genuine antique Peruzzi? I’m just starting to learn about this type of cut. It’s beautiful and they seem rare so it’s hard to compare.

I LOVE this band.., and it ticks all your boxes… finding one under $3k though is going to be extremely difficult for a platinum diamond eternity… possible, but you gotta be fast and you may be looking for a while.

Here’s one more, but thinner band at 2.2mm

I would also reach out to Collin’s Family Jewlers, they have a TON of bands, and you could just ask them to pull there rose cuts in platinum. They have very reasonable prices too.

I feel super nervous on Instagram for that reason. High competition with no way to know price they want.

I totally agree! It feels like a back alley deal and it takes all if the charm out of the process! I have purchased on IG, but only from sellers who post all of the details out in the open. I hate “DM for info” etc. I have heard them explain why they do this, but it’s not the style for me!

I agree!!! No dimensions. No GIA cert shown even though there is one. Especially when it's a SI1 or SI2. I want to know what made it receive that clarity grade. Is it just me, but I want to see the back of a ring too!!! I need details!!!!

That small rose cut gabby in rose gold was my first singlestone purchase several years ago, it's so nice.
