That is so very close. My quandary is it’s 18k white gold and I don’t know if the alloy will give me problems (I’m nickle and other metal sensitized). Platinum not as much.

Does anyone have any experience with wearing French white gold or know what they put in their alloy at that time?

I'd buy this just for the little "egg" diamond part on top. I bet a jeweler could remove the moonstone (which i feel like was added poorly) and swap for something else. So pretty!

Ah ok gotcha I figured there was a conversion somewhere but I've never looked. My 17 is a bit loose but I don't think I would go down to a 16. It is funny though that these sell higher now than what they were new.

I think 17s can be found for a little better price sometimes (16 seems to be the most desirable and most expensive size for some reason). They are more expensive since they are discontinued, though the price really shot up recently since now they cannot even be special ordered (I tried, but I could only do one color stone at a time, no rainbow or multicolored).

My personal recommendation… once you find something that you love, if the price isn’t perfect, but something you can afford, if it’s a forever piece- it’s ok to splurge. For a piece you are going to wear for a long time, and it makes you smiles every time you wear it… I promise you, you won’t ever regret paying the extra few hundred dollars.
