Here are the photos and the deets:

1. 1.75 carat blue spinel. 7.8 x 6.7 x 4.2 mm. Very slight inclusions under close scrutiny. Very sparkly, not overly dark.
2. Purple spinel. I am not sure of the weight on this one but if my memory serves me right it is 1.2 carats. It was cut by Daniel Stair. Eye clean and sparkly. Very little grey in this stone. Occasionally shifts to bluish purple.
3. 1.8 carat hot pink spinel. Slight inclusions under close scrutiny. Very sparkly- glows in sunlight.
4. 1.44 carat purplish/pink spinel. Eye clean- small window that should close in setting.

$300!

Thanks Ricezo and Mochiko42. I will definitely start a thread when they arrive. And yes Mochiko42 that is a Yvonne Raley sunflower pendant in my icon (tanzanite and paraibas from Brazil) I have met Yvonne in person a few times (we live quite close to each other) I've seen all her beautiful gems in person. And they are so very hard to resist when you are face to face. So obviously i have quite a few.

I totally overdosed when I first started buying stones, but so far, it seems you have made thoughtful purchases, acquiring good quality stones at excellent prices.

I think it's a good deal on the spinel parcel too; I hemmed and hawed about it, because I only need one stone but would gladly fork out $300 for the 3 "free" additional spinels that I don't need. The only reason I didn't buy it is because it's not quite the colour and size I am looking for.
