Something came for me in the mail today

A pair of pear royal rhodolites, which I'd like to dangle from my studs. They will join their emerald-cut sister.

For those of you who are wondering, I still suck at phototaking. This picture is by courtesy of Richard M.

They are gorgeous, Harriet. It''s a bit hard to tell from the pics, but I think the proportions should be fine.

The rhodolites are just beautiful, Harriet!!! I am not sure about proportions, but I am thinking that Widget uses a smaller pair of studs to attach her drops. Maybe she''ll see this thread and post.

I need you ladies'' input. As you know, I''d like to use the rhodolites as dangling jackets. My studs are 6x6. These pears are 6x9. I just found out that the vendor has 7x10s. Would those go better with my studs? Thanks!

I''m hard pressed to imagine exactly how it would look but I really like the proportions of the stone you already have with your studs - from the original blurry pic you posted.
