Spinel setting advice -- which of these three?

The shank on #3 looks cheaper than on #2 and #1 which steers me away from it. It probably doesn''t look like that in real life and is lovely but just comparing the photos it doesn''t have the ''ooomph'' of the other two.


The first one will place the emphasis on the central stone with an accent of bling.


The second one will have more of an impact and the setting will take centre stage with the gemstone and be an overall bigger look.


Do you want a subtle or a big look because I think that''s the difference between #1 and #2.

thanks for the advice! i wanted to go for something subtle, and have pretty much decided on #1.
