Drk14- I didn't contact Steven I'm not sure if I will. I don't want to send it back to be changed. I wanted to wear it a bit first to see if it was worth mentioning.

Yea, I meant more to ask just outof curiosity ... to try to get a peek into how his mind works. But maybe it's better to leave it a mystery!

Actually, if you don't mind, I was curious about whether the "corner" melee stones in the donut (the ones where the bottom tips of the petals meet the donut) are pink, or whether the donut has all white melee. Also, I was curious about whether he used platinum or rose gold for the pink petals.

In any case, it's a beautiful ring, and I'm glad to see your excitement about how this 4-year project finally came to fruition.

The donut itself has tiny white diamonds on it. So straight on there is a thin white line under the petals. It seems as though the structure of the petals is platinum and then layered with rose gold possibly. The photo he sent of the ring without diamonds appeared to be all platinum. Now I clearly see rose gold on them.

Haha got to love the lights in home improvement stores! I wish I could have captured the light show coming from the ring in there. I felt so silly taking pictures but I had to try it looked ama zing! I got busted pretending to look at tile and taking pictures. Someone came over to ask if I needed help.
