Take me off the list!!!!! I''m engaged!!!!!!

It happened last night...I had no idea...we went to my favorite restaurant downtown, and then decided to walk to "our" park...where we spent most of our time in the early stage of our relationship...it has this awesome suspension bridge that over looks a small river with a waterfall...I was leaning against the railing lloking ut on the waterfall and he was behind me, and he pulled the ring out of his pocket and held it up (over the river!!! GASP!!!!) in front of me... I just said OMG...and he said do you like it and I said yes, I love it, and he said do you want to wear it...and I said "That''s not the question"...LOL...and he giggled and said Will you marry me??? and I couldn''t even speak, I just shook my head yes and we just stood there on the bridge holding each other. It was awesome...exactly the way I would have had him do it if I had been able to choose it...I am so lucky!!!!

And the ring!!!!!!! Is absolutely gorgeous...I don''t have handshots yet...I will post them as soon as I do, but it is a 1.08ct SI2 C5 Cognac Diamond, in a halo setting...it''s exactly what I wanted...he did really good!!!! I''m still shaking!!!

Mimi- Thanks for the complements!! I realize it''s not for everyone, but that''s one of the reasons I love it so much!!! It is very "me"!! I had given him probably 5 different options of stones, and settings that I liked and let him choose from there, he really wanted there to be some element of surprise, and he ended up choosing my all time favorite!!! As far as more details all I really know is that it is a 1.08 ct Pear shaped SI2 C5 Cognac Diamond, the setting has 1/3 ctw vs1 round brilliant in halo and halfway down the shank, and the band is 1 mm wide...
