Congrats on your engagement!
That picture of the bridge under the dark sky is SO beautiful! What a wonderful place for a proposal. And your ring is fabulous! I love the darker champagne diamonds, they have such a glowing inner-fire to them.
My boyfriend told me he asked a friend of his for proposal suggestions, and one of them was to get a fake ring and drop it in a river or down the royal gorge or something. B told me about it and said he didn''t think I''d be amused by that, I told him that was a good call because I probably would have thrown him down after it if I had thought it was my real ringMen
Mim- I think it''s 1 mm...it''s definitely not 2 mm, and it''s the thinnest band I''ve ever seen...I really wanted a thin band so that my fingers wouldn''t look chubby...thanks for the compliments too...I''m just in love with it...Date: 4/8/2006 10:38:01 PM

amyg, your ring is stunning by itself, but I have to say that it looks even better on your hand!!! It shows how delicate the band it when it is on.
Congrats again!!! Don''t be worried about the number of pics you post --- there is a ''more the merrier'' attitude around here when it comes to photos!!!
ETA --- do you happen to know the mm width of your band? I am trying to get a feeling for what I like before I do some more setting shopping. Also what size do you wear?
ETA --- again--- I just read your post in the ''show me your pears'' thread and I see that you are a size 7 and the band is 1mm. Is that right? Wow I have never seen a band that thin, but obviously the thinner the better for me because I think the band is delish!!!
