And yes, the “stranger” was @Niel! <3 Diamond guru and queen of finding me beautiful bling. Although she doesn’t feel like a stranger, I’ve never met her IRL so it feels crazy to buy stuff online like this! I mean, it feels normal now but past Pearaffair would have balked at such activities!

I’d totally reset into something that will play up that buttery hue. There was a beautiful MQ reset last year I think that was sculptural and swoopy which would suit this or CVB’s Norah?
But I’d probably wear her for a while and get to know her moods (and enjoy that presence!)

Another vote for enjoying Hazel as she is for a while, and let her personality grow on you. Than you will be in a better position to decide what outfit will suit her complexion & style a bit better.

Beautiful! I'd leave her as is. At least for now. I love the current setting and I also think she'd look gorgeous in what you've shown in your inspiration photos. Why not enjoy both?

I agree with this. She’s gorgeous as-is and I’d get used to her before making any decisions. She’s a beauty! We need a poll regarding how many people @Neil has helped and/or sold things to! She’s a class A enabler!!:mrgreen2:

to your question I’m undecided.
I think it looks frigging fantastic in your hand as is. And it’s very elegant and timeless. A halo isn’t necessarily as timeless so you wonder if a halo is the right choice. But of course the halo would make the color pop which is a benefit. I’d definitely get a different head on there to bring or the color as I know she’s a chameleon and the yellow gold head would help.
But like- she looks so frigging good the way it is right now on you it’s hard to say.

Beautiful! I like the current setting other than the V tips are so bulky. A good bench could file those down a little, maybe. But as the owner of a low colored diamond, I can tell you that a yellow gold cup or bezel and a white halo will really make that stone stand out!

I love the inspiration mock up of bezel and small halo, i would even add the baguettes to it! If you want to add a cup (like I did mine) I think the color would be fabulous but will be beautiful either way

I bought a large sapphire that I want to get reset and my vision for that marquise was too expensive for all the other things I want to do so I let her go.

The cup did wonders for yours, and the before/after pics are INSANE. So much love!!! After I got your blessing by messaging you on another site, I even got a quote from DK for how much it would cost to have a “little sister” version of your ring made. Definitely something I would consider. I adore your ring. Think your style could work with the baguettes I already own? Are you finding it tolerable to clean the cup?

So you guys are THE BEST. I love that the vast majority are in favour of me not spending all my money (that I don’t have) on a reset. Love love love. I am enjoying the (comparatively) delicate band. Definitely needs a yellow gold head but I’m loving it otherwise!!!! Yay for saving money. By spending money. Ha. But not needing to spend MORE. Right?
